  1. All the women's outfits sucked! Sams top was ugly and the skirt too tight and poorly designed; The teal dress had that ugly cut out and was too tight; Helen's dress was just horrible. I thought all the mens wear looked great. I never understand the whining over menswear - do they really only plan on designing for size 0 women all their career? Sam and Michelles' couple totally did not hit it off.
  2. I don't think it looks like she's purposely sticking out her belly in that pic, just not great posture. According to Emily Post, you have a year for thank you notes (though I think 6 months should be the max). Also impressed she is handwriting them considering how many gifts she probably got (someone gave them hangers?).
  3. Wow. she is carrying high and all in front!
  4. So far this has been one of the more enjoyable finales. They've added stuff you didn't see in the season and it hasn't been a total rehash, just a slight one.
  5. Even with all the poor thinking skills, I still enjoyed the show. It's just entertainment. Don't want to think to seriously about it - fiction! I can buy a bunch of young 20 somethings losing their minds when they think they've killed someone. Connor wasn't being sadistic when laughing while breaking up Sam's bones - he was freaking out.
  6. Timeline Keating's fight, Annaliese leaves Michaela shows up to get out of test with trophy Rebecca is an idiot and runs up the stairs, M calls the scoobies Scoobies arrive, Sam knocks Rebecca to ground, Laurel grabs thumb drive Fight moves to hall, Sam lunges at Michaela, she shoves him and he falls over railing While scoobies argue, Sam starts to choke Rebecca, Wes clocks him with statue (that had last been seen with Asher) Scoobies agree to leave body because no one can prove they were there. Their fingerprints are on everything because they are there all the time **Annaliese returns home, finds body, begins to cover her ass and calls Sam's phone looking for him Wes returns to clean up trophy to "hide in plain site" as Laurel said, Annaliese and he have a talk, she probably convinces Wes she can make sure no one goes to jail since she is The Goddess of Defenders - she doesn't seem to distressed Sam is dead Annaliese leaves to go to Nates for her alibi (which damn, looking back on it she is cold) Scoobies determine they have to go back and get rid of body and clean up blood Burning of body commences - MIchaela loses ring Annaliese returns home, calls Bonnie, leaves message on Sam's phone Scoobies come over, Annaliese starts to lay ground work for "Sam has fled because he killed Lila" story Laurel and Connor are the weak links, their significant others no something wanky happened.
  7. To me Daryl seems more mid-20's while Carol is in her mid-40s. I think any sexual experience Daryl may have had would be with whatever 'hos Meryl brought home. Nothing ever romantic or loving.
  8. Bear Gryls (duh, he knows how to get a group of people to survive anything) Adam Savage (massive problem solver and funny - willing to try anything) Sayid (Knows how to fix stuff -including people - can do the hard stuff) Caroline from the Vampire Diaries (snarky, chatty, plus no one messes with her peeps) Carla from Top Chef/The Chew - can throw a meal together quickly out of anything, friendly, tough
  9. Carol and Daryl remind me of my best friend in high school (me girl, him boy). We joked about stuff all the time, totally had each others backs, told each other everything, but had no absolutely no interest in each other. Sex jokes flew fast and furious with us. Carol and Daryl both come from abusive relationships, Carol had Andrea and Lori to help her deal and heal, Carol is helping Daryl on his journey. I really don't want to see them together in "that" way. I liked Daryl with Beth. She lightened him up and helped him see things a different way - Carol never did that. Plus she's more "age" appropriate. Personally, I have no idea why any of these people would want to have sex. You're in fear for life constantly, you're not getting any sleep, sound attracts the walkers, and no one has taken a bath in forever!
  10. Jessa said some time ago that part of the honeymoon would be filmed by TLC - blech. Was very glad Jill and Derick didn't do that. To make it more exciting. TLC probably sprang for the trip.
  11. So does Bonnie have big girl love for Annaliese? I can't figure out why I like this show...but I do. I too cannot get totally behind Annie because of her banging the cop.
  12. Yeah, the motion sickness thing bugs me too. I wonder if they didn't say anything if it just wouldn't have happened in most of the kids (not the plane ride though, that would totally get people sick). Took DS and a friend on a short day trip a couple of years ago. Parents warned me that he gets severely car sick. Didn't have a single problem with him - but he goes anywhere with his parents he gets sick. Hmmm.
  13. I have no problem with being a fan of a school you didn't go to (I've lived in both Alabama and Kentucky for goodness sakes), I do have a problem with the extremes people take when they have never been to the school. Hmm...no new Blessa pictures lately.
  14. Something that just struck me while reading the Jill and Derick page. Jessa and Ben left the church to the University of Arkansas school song. URRGGHH, that just annoys the hell out of me! Neither went there, I'm not sure they know anyone who went there, they're not going to go there, I doubt anyones parents or grandparents went there....sigh. It's one thing if you are totally obsessed with the school YOU ARE GOING TO (I know many Aggies like that), bu having no connection? I hate it.
  15. The video of Michelle and the kids cracks me up! Yeah....they're are angels! (not). Just checked out the kissing photos. If you read all of Michelles' post, she says that God made marriage for husband and wife - so I guess she was assuming that ruled out same sex couples. At our Veterans parade today everyone clapped for every group that went by until a group supporting young LBGT went by. All you heard was crickets, so I clapped and cheered for them.
  16. I think it was Jessa's engagement episode where this happened...Anna and Josh were being interviewed and Anna said something like, "a lot of babies isn't a bad thing" or something like that, and then elbowed Josh and looked at him like, "hint, hint." So....Josh is putting the kibosh on more kids? That would be awesome.
  17. She totally cracked me up tonight. Wouldn't mind seeing her again
  18. Free Ginger has a bunch of pics posted I hadn't seen yet. http://www.freejinger.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=23952&start=40%C2'> Don't know if this link will work. There is one where Jessa is getting her hair messed with. She has her veil on, but a t-shirt, not her dress. How did she get the shirt over the veil without messing it up? Another kissing pic where it looks like they missed. Or Jessa might just be a bottom lip sucker. It looks like her dress needed to be pulled in just a bit at the waist.
  19. I agree with previous posters, I think the kissing pic is awesome - but with her past of "modesty", it's kind of odd. LOVE how Anna dressed for the wedding. I think the group shot was flattering, but I bet she looked great. I don't understand why Jill was turned toward the Bride and groom. I'm liking Jessa more and more the further into this wedding timeline we get.
  20. This picture is just astonishing I think. She looks beautiful - he still kind of looks stupid though. But with her background and what she has stated she believes...yowza!
  21. I was impressed by the emotion Jessa showed at the chapel. She looked genuinely happy this was happening, said yes in a nice quiet voice (with no teeny bopper totally), and even teared up. Wow. I didn't think she had it in her.
  22. Sir Richard, "I'll be leaving in the morning Lady Grantham. I doubt we will be seeing each other again." Lady Violet, "Do you Promise?"
  23. I have been to several weddings where there was no "real" food offered, and definitely not enough chairs. Unless it's an evening wedding, a full meal is not expected. Saying that, I firmly believe you feed the people who come to your wedding. Seems like most of the weddings I've been to that didn't have a sit down dinner (buffet or served) were Baptist ceremonies.
  24. If I liked Clara, or felt any connection between her and Mr. Pink, this would have been a much better episode.
