  1. Would people believe Franco? Even though he's supposed to be a harmless teddy bear, people still outright hate and distrust him. Carly's not going to automatically back him, and I can't see Lauren supporting him, either. This is never going to end, is it? It's such a pathetic triangle.
  2. I think MB put his heart into that story, but the story itself was terrible. Sonny pouted all day, yelled at people, and threw barware. He didn't comb his hair or shave. That didn't really differ from how Sonny acted when we thought he was just depressed or having a bad day. While I applaud them getting out the idea that bipolarity is treatable and nothing to be ashamed of, the story they used to get that message out was pretty bad. And I give them props for not making Sonny's bipolarity his sole characteristic, the way Lulu's baby rabies has taken over her life.
  3. Maybe because in fairy tales the queens tend to evil?
  4. I might enjoy the show more if Ron would let people settle in. Nathan is Nina's brother. No, he's her nephew. Madeline is his mother. No, she's his aunt. Britt is a random doctor. No, she's his sister. Lauren's father is Franco. Franco is a Quartermaine. No, he's not. Lauren isn't a Quartermaine, either. Franco isn't her father, Silas is. I mean, seriously. None of this improves the characters or their stories.
  5. That shot cracked me up. Who else but Sonny would be visiting Ric? Ric has no male friends in PC that we know of. If that shot was supposed to make me think some big shot was striding in, it failed. MB doesn't walk with what one would call authority.
  6. I was a non-scholarship athlete in a non-income-producing sport at a Big 10 university, so I have mixed feelings about the NCAA stuff. There definitely needs to be some reform, but the idea that athletes aren't being "paid" when they're getting free room and board, tuition, and often a books/living stipend is wrong. It's a complicated issue, and I'm not sure unionizing will simplify or improve things.
  7. That cracked me up. They were supposed to be too drunk to stop, but if they were that drunk, why were they able to drive? It's the ladies who have the problems, which is deeply annoying to me. TC just keeps humping along. I know. As if not serving makes him less of a doctor. It was all dick-swinging for the psych lady, though, since the x-ray guy made such a point of saying the vascular surgeon was hung. So of course Dr. Manpain had to make sure he wasn't shown up. The UCG on this show is fantastic.
  8. Is it really "jilting" when your thought-dead wife returns? It's too bad Molly doesn't know a PI who can dig into Ric's case. Oh, wait.
  9. We used to use the chads from punch cards as confetti at football games.
  10. He probably has a wife and kids there. This show is not shy with clichés. April's employee is really annoying. I don't find her funny at all.
  11. Ouch. And hee. This is true of so many of the characters on the show. They bring on more and more characters when the ones they have are so badly used. Ric was brought on to be a red herring for FakeLuke, Nina was unnecessary from the get-go (WE NEVER CARED), Rafe is useless, Levi is a horror show, Sabrina is on mat leave and isn't missed atall, etc., etc. The stories are unimaginative, the actors are badly used, and the head writer has nothing but contempt for the audience. And yet I'm still watching this junk.
  12. So Ron doesn't have to write actual relationships. Definitely. We had Helena as the über-evil Cassadine; we didn't need a BSC camp joke Cassadine, too.
  13. Yeah, at the time Lulu basically said there was no point in getting a second opinion, which means the first diagnosis will be proven totally wrong. It's really annoying to me that the writers can think of nothing better to do with Lulu than embroil her in baby issues. That's literally all she thinks and talks about. I agree. If Britt and Brad's conniving was being shown as wacky high jinks, it could be sort of enjoyable. Their plans could backfire and they'd be the only ones affected. But I have a feeling Britt is going to enlist Spencer in her plan, and I don't need to see more of that brat. And talk about backsliding—using an 8-year-old to get his father back? Ugh. Nina knows that Nathan isn't her brother—though they're going to ignore the technicality, which works for me; at this point, it doesn't make a difference in their relationship—but she doesn't know about Britt yet. At least that we've seen onscreen.
  14. Jeanine Pirro. She's held a bunch of elected positions in Westchester County in NY.
  15. I wouldn't be surprised if those kinds of sites existed. The Internet can be a very ugly place. As for the kids' documentation—I assume you're talking about adoption papers and that sort of thing—I think it's either faked or ignored. I also think the original adoptions might not be entirely legal in the first place, and that's why this sort of thing can happen. Vic throwing up her hands saying "it's anonymous" was about trying to figure out where the people were operating from. That's why they made up a daughter, so they could get more solid information.
  16. "Little Anna"? Isn't she an adult at this point? Oh, Britt. Liz and Nik will implode all on their own. You just need to stand back and watch. Also, Nik is so not worth the effort anyway. LOL that Sonny yells about Ric denying his guilt. When does Sonny ever take responsibility for anything? The Ric/Molly scenes were really nice. RH and HP have a lovely vibe. Don't Ric and Diane know each other? Why is Liz the one hiring her? Color me shocked that Jordan told Anna that Ric was set up so soon after learning about it. I thought Ron would drag this part of the story out. Of course Lulu might not have a busted uterus. FFS. Anything having to do with her and that stupid embryo sends me into a rage blackout. It's all so aggravating and stupid.
  17. Another one on the list. I don't want Vic and Walt to hook up because it's so predictable. Zzzzzz. If Henry keeps getting beaten up in jail, he has a strong basis for a lawsuit, I'd think. Why isn't anyone trying to get him into protective custody? This whole story is dumb. The CoW was simultaneously too short and drawn out. That's an interesting thing to pull off.
  18. That's because nobody knows he's the one behind things. Here's hoping we don't have to wait through the summer for this story to end. It's so BORING. Julian is totally wimping out, and Ned, the only other person who's wondering what's up with Luke, is AWOL. With my luck, it'll be Lauren who figures it all out, because she suddenly knows all in PC. Same here. I don't mind the age difference at all, but if bozo Morgan is Ava's true love, show me (or, given this show, tell me) why. I'm seeing nothing. If it's just a bunch of hot sex, I'm fine with that, too, but show (or tell) me that's what it is. As it stands, I haven't the faintest idea what's going on with these two except there's a baby involved and no one is sure whose it is.
  19. Tom isn't letting his hair go gray, and that makes a difference, too.
  20. Isn't that the truth. Ava has some options. She may be inexplicably trapped at Sonny's, but she can fight back. I wish we'd see her do that.
