  1. I was worse than you because I blurted out "Leslie Knope or Ann Perkins!" Then I realized that was not what they wanted. I am such an idiot. I did not get FJ either until after. I did not know when 12 Years of Slave was actually written. I do not know if it was the players or something else, but my head wasn't really in this game. I just was not paying too much attention to this one.
  2. I was glad Tiff was in her right mind enough to not give into Bryan's drunken ramblings in the hot tub. He was a nasty drunk. I wonder how much he remembers, because he was slurring so bad. I did love the captioning for his slurring though! I did think he was trying to save face in an almost stereotypical guy fashion to Bobby the next morning. While I do think Bryan is a mean drunk, I do not think he hates Jen. I just do not think his personality gels with hers. She is a bit more aloof than the rest of the crew, which is completely fine, but I think Bryan and Bobby have a pretty similar temperament. I do think Bryan and Jen got off on the wrong foot with the oversleeping nonsense. I do think Bryan liked Danny more before all the poem garbage went down. That seemed to be when Bryan and Bobby put the brakes on whatever friendship they had with Danny. So now I do think Bryan isn't a fan of Danny and almost rightfully so in my opinion. Danny has had some major screw-ups so I can see why Bryan might be on his ass. Though less Danny in this episode was a win in my book. Not quite sure where the miscommunication between Hannah and Ben went down with how many course they were serving. I thought Hannh told Ben that it was up to him when they were talking about it the night before. Then when she suggested that they change the starters I did not know if that eliminated a course or what not. I feel bad for the SOS boat, but I did like that it was actual real drama. The seven month anniversary. Vomit. I do not really know if Julia is more flirty with Bobby than the others, because most of her scenes are with Hannah, Tiff, and Bobby. She seems to be a bubbly person in general. Bobby is definitely getting the wrong idea though.
  3. This. So much of this. I was disappointed in the Pippy and TMI thing, because I really liked them together.
  4. This. Khloe always seems so "on" to me so much of the time. Kris has that much of a fear of roller skating? I shouldn't judge because I have a fear of garden gnomes, but her not wanting to try it seemed a bit extreme. Corey looked absolutely over his role in this mess. If I didn't think it was all scripted I would feel more sorry for Kylie and Kendall and the paparazzi, because there probably was not much of their life without the paparazzi. I do think Kendall probably gets annoyed with them more because she seems like a private person and one that would probably want to be out doing things. That said, they were not fooling anyone with their disguises. It felt as tacky as when one of those entertainment journalists put on a fat suit for some story. Trotting out Caitlyn, Scott, and Lamar isn't doing anything for me. I used to feel bad for Scott because of his parents deaths (I do still feel bad about that aspect of his life), but now I am over him. I need more Rob and Blac Chyna drama, because that is more entertaining then the recycling of storylines.
  5. Maddie and Caleb both look happy. Caleb seems like a low key guy so I am not surprised that his khakis are not the standard khakis. If they compromised on incorporating elements that each of them liked good for them. Though I can see Caleb caring a bit on what he wears and not so much about the rest of the event. I would have to see the reception set up to see if they had bohemian elements, but either way it isn't my wedding and they seem happy with everything, so I guess I do not care that much overall. As much as I do not care for the Roloff's, I think Zach and Tori's and Jeremy and Audrey's weddings were really nice in terms of reality television weddings. I thought both weddings really looked like each couple (if that makes sense), and turned out very beautiful.
  6. I did not get how he fixed the situation either. I really wish they would time jump the end of these movies a bit if they are in fact going to end with a wedding. I liked this movie more than Wedding Bells. I liked the leads chemistry. I also liked that it wasn't as focused on them working together to plan the wedding as much, because a lot of the movies have been going this route. I did wonder how long the wedding expo was going to last. It seemed like forever. I would have preferred some more scenes with Ben and Libby after the expo, but not with the wedding planning if that makes any sense at all. What I have gleaned from Hallmark movies is that if you are getting married you and your fiancé will be complete opposites and disagree completely on what you want for your wedding. Also, if you have two people planning your wedding they will probably disagree too until they see the light to combine both of their styles!
  7. Lawson's singing and songwriting are pretty bad. I do give him props for trying to pursue it at least. I do not know how well he is doing with it. I thought his album/singles were on iTunes, but it isn't really a genre that I like so I have no idea how well it did. Is the country/christian genre that big? He just might have a place in that niche, but I do not know anything, so who knows. I do like Kelly's genuine enthusiasm for her grandkids (which is pretty normal for most folks, but not with Michelle). She always seems to be holding one when they are around. She also seems genuinely thrilled whenever a couple announces they are expecting. I was reminded of that when they showed the clip Whitney and Zach announcing they were expecting their second child again. I did like that it looked like the older girls were not in charge of schooling the younger kids. Also, how all the kids seem to interact like actual siblings with the sledding and snowball fight. I still think Jeb is adorable.
  8. So what do we think Kim is going to do to take the spotlight off of her sisters and put it back on herself?
  9. Another problem with the Kardashian's is that they do everything over social media. Hell, they fight or put up not so vague meme's/digs at each over via social media. Nothing is private with them. Then I have to hear Kim on the show say that we don't fight with family in the media or public, when they constantly do. I think Khloe is the biggest offender of that. They seem to live and die for social media (and the regular media) likes and attention. I think it was before Kim had kids where Kourtney made a comment about Kim using Mason to get more likes or whatever on social media. I thought Kourtney was right. They are on their phones constantly. The show is basically filming them on their phones most of the time.
  10. I am with you. I do like certain members of the original recipe crew like Kate, Captain Lee, Amy, Dave, and Eddie (Yeah, I know. I still like him though), but I like watching a whole new crew. Danny is the only one irritating me now, but he doesn't elicit a strong reaction from me like Rocky, Kat, Leon, or Sam. The other crew members have all said or done things I am not wild about, but it does not seem like a constant ongoing behavior with them, and is relatively benign. I also do not think if someone makes a stupid comment about women or gets angry automatically means they are a misogynist or have anger issues. Sometimes a stupid comment is just that, a stupid comment. I like the relatively mild drama overall. I agree. Captain Mark looks like he has a lot of sun damage going on, which isn't really surprising considering his profession and the amount of years he has been in said profession. It is basically one of the charter guests from last night with Tiffany saying that he did not call Danny over to tell him his life story, but Danny came over to tell them his (Danny's) life story. One of my issues with Danny is that he does not seem to get that he is doing something wrong. He thinks it is perfectly okay to hang out and talk to the guests. He thinks the tip reflects all the time he spends with the guests (which it may a bit, but who knows). I think it would be a bit more okay if he was not neglecting his work and it wasn't as overboard as he goes. The other crew members talk and joke a bit with the staff, but they seem to balance it better. They also get that work comes first. I think when Danny was telling the charter guest that he got in trouble the last charter with the Tilted Kilt ladies. It is just too much. Danny does not seem to get professionalism at all. There is a time and place. The guests want the crew to dance, so they do, but then go back to work.
  11. If I was just a casual viewer and hadn't heard the numerous doctor mentions I would assume Cary's husband was actually just her personal shopper similar to Erika's, from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, glam squad. Only Cary's is a glam squad of one, her husband.
  12. I thought I heard that Mariah, Aspyn, and Mykelti were in the bridal party, but I could be wrong and I really do not want to watch the episode again.
  13. I concur about the lies to Mariah. I think there is more to it. Can you imagine that Disneyland trip if there actually was a Sam? Was Meri going to say "Here's your new stepdad! Oops! I mean my new friend." to Mariah?
  14. If I was Mariah I would be pissed watching this show where Meri is just claiming the whole catfish thing was about a "friendship". This. So much of this. I was glad Mariah called Meri out on the fact that to Meri this was a "real" relationship. I think Meri put Mariah in an awkward situation if Mariah in fact knew that she was having some sort of relationship online, or as Meri would like to call it "friendship". Also regardless of what I think of Kody, I do think Mariah loves her dad. She may think he is an idiot, but doesn't everyone? So she may feel betrayed on his behalf. I have no idea, just speculating, but i am fine with Mariah being angry at Meri. I am not her daughter and I am pissed that Meri is misrepresenting her "friendship" with her catfish. I could not stop laughing at Meri saying that Mariah was mad because she thought that Meri was going to take off with her catfish and that was not the case. No Meri, that was exactly the case, but your good-looking multimillionaire did not exist so that nixed those plans. Apparently nothing says forgiveness like an ugly painting. Then again ugly paintings are probably on par for this lot. It looked like Meri was basically doing the wine and canvas thing without the wine and privately. I was more into the wine and less into the canvassing the only time I did it. I did like the first two wedding venues that Maddie and co. toured. I did not really see much of the last one to get an impression. I kind of assumed that Maddie either already picked her dress and they did the whole thing over or with more of the family for filming, but who knows.
  15. I would imagine he is still losing baby teeth as well. I agree that they are probably waiting until he was older I was around 12/13 when I got braces, but I have a 10 year old niece who is probably en route to braces, but has some sort of retainer for now.
  16. Thank you for specifying that David Gregory was an OLTL alum. Must have appeared after I stopped watching. I was originally wondering why newsman/journalist David Gregory would show up to play Morgan Corinthos? Though I will not lie, I thought that sounded hilarious and awesome at the same time!
  17. I thought when Robyn mentioned splitting the room for King Sol and the new Disney Princess baby that it would be more along the lines of the twins bedroom from the television show Black-ish, which looks pretty cool and goes together even though it is different. Instead Robyn decorated with two different curtains and bedding. Insert a sarcastic woohoo here.
  18. I will echo your sentiment and add that I like Five as well. I think Two is really the only character that does not work for me. I like Winn on Supergirl. I do think part of that is that I have enjoyed Jeremy Jordan onstage, so it carries over for me.
  19. I liked the Hawks on Legends of Tomorrow. My UO is that I never was a fan of Sara Lance. The actress is great at the stunts, but I find her acting does not work for me. I am also, not a fan of Laurel, which isn't an UO, but I am not a fan of Felicity on Arrow. I do not hate her, but I do not like her either. I do not find everything the character or actress does is awesome.
  20. I just assumed Janelle went with the crafting project because it was something Meri enjoys. Perhaps it was an olive branch of some sort or that since she knows Meri enjoys all things crafts that would be incentive enough for Meri. Maybe if Janelle picked something that she ( Janelle ) liked to do and invited Meri, that Meri would shoot her down. I do not know, but I do not think it is a bad thing to try and partake in someone's else's interest even if it is not your thing.
  21. I thought it was Bobby who said Danny was sick. I think the girl (Morgan?) asked him to give the towel to his roommate. Are Bobby and Danny roommates? Captain Lee kept a lot of useless people around longer than necessary too. Rocky jumped overboard, but still wasn't fired. I am sure there are other examples as well. I like Captain Mark and Captain Lee. I did appreciate that Captain Mark did not give Danny any of the tip money. I believe Captain Lee does regardless. Also, Captain Mark gave Bobby and Danny busy work on what should have been their night off because they brought those girls back. I am sure Captain Lee doles out punishments as well, but I am not remembering much of regular Below Deck right now.
  22. I miss Cami too, with her and my other favorite character Davina gone I have very little interest in watching the show anymore. I like Will Halstead on Chicago Med. Though that might be because I like the actor.
  23. I thought Kelly and Seal were uncomfortable to watch, but I do not think she was trying to stick it to him and Heidi that they got a divorce and she is married. Sometimes a comment is just that and there is nothing to read into. Seal just is too mellow for co-hosting duties. I liked Fred Savage as well, but also agree that he might not want the gig with the moving from California and the fact that he is more of a director these days and has a nice directing resume. He might want to continue with more of that. While I like Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen as co-hosts, I am somewhat doubtful that either one want to be a permanent co-host. Though I could see Andy Cohen more as a permanent co-host than Anderson Cooper.
  24. I will be at my table for one with liking Percy and Lasalle. I thought they had chemistry when Sonja first arrived at the end of season one. I am surprised that I like them ( and the possibility of Sebastian and Meri as well) since I have never been a fan of any of the other NCIS/LA pairings or ships. I would like them together, but would be fine if they do not get together as well. I have been preferring the New Orleans franchise better than the original and LA versions. I like all the NOLA characters and no one annoys me. Also, I find them all less sanctimonious than the other franchises. I did enjoy this season finale as well. So many of the other shows I watch have had such disappointing season finales that my bar might have been pretty low, but I did enjoy it.
  25. I could not stop laughing every time Danny said that he creates moments. It still makes me laugh, because it was so ridiculous. Anyone catch what Morgan wrote to him in her note? I have to wonder about those girls who thought the poem was just so sweet. I wish Jen had told about the kiss so he would be gone, because I have a feeling we are in for more Danny being an idiot because he "creates moments". I do think overall Danny is harmless idiot. He is ridiculous and needs to do his job over hanging out with the guests, but harmless. I kind of loved Bobby for his reaction to Danny writing a poem when he was suppose to be actually doing deckhand work. I would be pissed if there was work to do, and my co-worker had to stop and write a poem for someone who was crying about fish. While I thought that Danny should have been fired, I did love the Captain saying that Danny should be a Walmart greeter, when Danny said he was a people person.
