  1. I keep thinking Margarita's point of view veers pretty costume-y. There was that design which she turned the top around in one of the earlier challenges that looked like a costume. I absolutely hate the unconventional challenge woman power outfit, but the judges loved it. Last weeks design was basically another costume as well. This week the fur dress was so very bad, but the judges loved it. I do agree with Zac's assessment of Margarita. If he has not seen her point of view thus far I doubt he is going to see it at FW. I cannot remember what she showed during the Road to the Runway special. Margarita's whining that no one picked her to go to FW was so lame. I loved that the rest of the designers just basically stared at her. I did not really care about the high heel shoes Brandon had on his model or the various garments on the runway that were not necessarily weather appropriate. It is a runway show, I do not think they need to be super practical all the time. I would assume one would take pieces off the runway and incorporate them with whatever they want. I really hope Brandon, Kentaro, and Ayana will be able to show at FW. I think those three have a very clear point of view and I am interested in seeing more from them. I do like Kenya and some of her designs, but I prefer the other three. I would be fine with any of them winning, even Kenya. I was going to be irritated if they let Margarita stay with the fur dress over Kenya. If Margarita wins I may have to buy a new television the next day.
  2. I got Aaron Burr, which was a TS, mainly because I sing Dear Theodosia from Hamilton a lot (love the Chance the Rapper version on the mixtape as well). I got FJ because I just guessed one of the more common last names. Small voice....I did not get Marlon Brando. I have never seen any of the Godfather movies. I have seen some of his movies, but it was more in passing. I was pretty young when he was at the peak of his career and probably not as interested as I should be in watching more of his films.
  3. Siggy seemed somewhat fine with Margaret at the tasting until Margaret disagreed with her. Margaret wasn't screaming, she just politely disagreed with Siggy. Siggy went all batshit crazy. She was like a toddler having a tantrum. It is like Margaret cannot have a differing opinion from Siggy for some reason. Friends do not have to agree on everything. Seriously, if I have to hear about the damn cake some more I might just throw something at my television. Get over the damn cake Siggy! It is just a F***ing cake! Maybe someone should infiltrate one of Siggy's overnight retreats and throw a cake across the floor. I did love Siggy's parents politely telling her to let Josh do his own thing. Delores is so up Siggy's ass. I have no idea what Delores' beef with Margaret is. I hate Margaret's pigtails and some of her quips, but overall I like her. She stays relatively calm when arguing with someone. She seems to be fairly levelheaded with all the drama. I do not think Margaret was be malicious when she did not include Siggy and Delores in the ceremony on the beach for Teresa's mom like Siggy and Delores believe. It was uncalled for, but I did kind of love Danielle's comment to Delores about her ex-husband and her boyfriend. It isn't really anyone's business, but if I was standing at a table a few feet away listening to two hyenas talk shit about me I may make some petty comment too. I know I am a horrible person.
  4. I am one that hates the Halloween show each year. The costumes, the taped bits, the guests that really are not being interviewed and everything else just does not work for me. I do not know why, but it does. To be fair, I am not a fan of when any of these sort of talk shows do it. I did think Ryan did very well with all of Kelly's mannerisms. He committed well to that bit. I thought when Kelly was dressed as Ryan that the make-up and hair did not really scream Ryan to me.
  5. I don't like "Stranger Things". I really thought I would, because it sounded like something I would really like, but I did not. I did make it all the way through the first season. It felt like work for me to continue to watch it and I just could not get into it. Also, while I think the kid actors were good, I did not think they were that good and that goes for the highly regarded Millie Bobby Brown. All the kids do seem lovely in real life though.
  6. I now want to buy a cake and throw it at Siggy in a restaurant. Too bad I live in Chicago. If I was Melissa at that ugly purse party I would have grabbed any of the food nearby and throw it at Siggy. Then Siggy can have her friends vote on whether that was good behavior or not.
  7. I would too. I am not a violent person, but that was a shitty thing to do to someone. Also, Delores just stood there and did not try to diffuse or stop the situation. I thought Frankie went to talk to Danielle's daughter about modeling as well. I have no idea if Danielle's daughter still models. I thought last season, maybe during the reunion, it was mentioned that Frankie does some modeling. That is one of the reasons why I thought he might not be interested in going to college, because he is pursuing modeling. I really hope there isn't going to be another Teresa/Melissa feud. I could see both sides in the argument. I do not have kids, but I have seen some parents not respond well when someone gives them parenting advice. I do not think Melissa was being malicious though. I really hope this does not cause some big rift. Ugh. Siggy is so exhausting. I can see why Josh does not want to talk to her about what is going on in his life, especially on camera. Has there been an episode this season where Siggy has not cried? I am actually believing Danielle about what Delores said. I do believing it is possible that she may have mellowed since the last time she appeared on the show. Siggy seemed very quiet when Danielle brought up what Delores said, which is one of the reasons why I think it is possible that Delores said what she did. Siggy may have already heard it before from her. Also, I thought Delores' reaction was over the top for her. If Margaret continues to be anti-Siggy I may love her.
  8. I can see it now, "The Real 12 year olds of Middle School". Maybe Lydia can be in the center holding a cellphone or whatever else preteens are into. I still hate Vicki and want her gone. Please take Lydia, Peggy, and Kelly (even though she was not really annoying this episode) with you. Hell, take Tamra and Shannon too. I can tolerate them more than the rest, but would not care if they were gone. Meghan is kind of dull for this type of show, but she usually seems to behave more rationally than the rest.
  9. On Instagram Alyssa and Whitney are seen wearing pants in some photos. So they might dabble in pants wearing when not on television. I know Whitney has dressed her daughter in pants. I think Alyssa has as well, but am not positive.
  10. Does anyone have any recommendations on a setting spray for dry skin? During the fall and winter months my skin tends to be more on the drier side. I have looked at some at Sephora and Ulta, but am feeling a bit overwhelmed.
  11. I did like the editing and music with the montage of everyone getting up/working and ending on the shot of Captain Lee trying to open the cereal.
  12. I agree. When Glee expanded the Brittany character I kept wondering how she could function on a daily basis. It is why I really could not root for any romantic pairing she was in, because the made her so beyond stupid it felt icky. A couple lines in the background was fine. Making her a main character not so much.
  13. I cannot remember if it was Michael or Margarita that said Claire went in the bathroom and measured her pants (I am assuming at the apartment), which makes me think that Claire knew she was doing something wrong. So her acting like it was no big deal that she had a measuring tape at the apartment irritated me. I do not mind avant garde challenges, but wish the contestants were given more time for it. I did like Amy flat out stating to Claire that if she measured something at the apartment it was cheating. I will be at my table for one for liking almost all of the rest of the designers even if they are boring. I could take or leave Margarita and Michael, but the rest I like. I do like Kentaro and Brandon the most though.
  14. Wait so Teresa apologized the night of the cake throwing and Siggy was still crying and going on about it the next day? Sigh, I am going to have to read the blogs now.
  15. Sigh. Sure siblings can be pregnant at the same time, but this all reeks of some major planning going on. What feels so gross for me, is that they are bringing kids into the world as some sort of publicity stunt.
  16. Like last week I enjoyed RHNJ way more than RHOC. I will be at my table for one now. Siggy is exhausting. Sure throwing the cake was not the most mature thing to do, but the way Siggy was carrying on about it was so over the top. She was so condescending after it all towards the other women. She could not sleep because she was crying so much over a cake toss? It was a cake. No one was lying about cancer or saying you wanted to drug a coworker and take them to your sex dungeon. I was just glad that the cake was not thrown in a fit of rage and instead in a moment of silliness. I am sure if Siggy went to the memorial that her note would be to the dearly departed cake. Uh Siggy, if you went to yoga you would have been at the memorial, but you opted out. I thought someone mentioned texting Delores and Siggy. Sure, Margaret could have told Siggy about her memorial plans, but I am sure glad she did not. I am liking Margaret so far. I was worried about the casting after seeing RHOC's Peggy who is a snooze (A snooze? What is this snooze you are talking about? Is it with the peanuts at the gallery?). I liked Margaret bringing up Siggy's entrance at the restaurant in the previous episode as embarrassing. Siggy's pictures of herself in various poses at her place in Boca cracked me up. They were so ridiculous.
  17. I love the mimes Austin does at the beginning of the episodes. I think the balloon animal one of my favorite.
  18. Hee! Good thing Koko could watch that belly dancer for a bit to get his mind off that horrible encounter with Vicki. I want Vicki, Kelly, Lydia, and Peggy gone. The rest I can tolerate more.
  19. So true. Lydia being so worried about Koko seeing a belly dancer was so ridiculous. Lydia probably thought it was an opportunity to give Peggy's son that awesomely strange sex talk she gave her own kids. Diko is so thirsty for his own orange. Was it me or did it feel like there were parts missing from the Diko/Shannon talk? Tamra mentioned that the ladies were confused from the story Peggy has told and then the scene basically jumped to Diko apologizing to Shannon. I felt like I missed something.
  20. I would have spelled it wrong. I am sort of hipster-lite so I kind of dig Austin's look. Though on his Twitter he has shorter hair and some clean shaven pics. I do like his live tweeting the episodes.
  21. Lotties Pub is the inspiration for Molly's. I believe Chicago Fire filmed there in their early seasons. The UIC Police Headquarters is the exterior for the Chicago PD department. I think the Chicago Fired Department that is used on CF is on Blue Island Ave. I could be wrong though.
  22. Gema or the other nannies could drive somewhere like a park, hiking trail, or other places. Of course, this is if she is allowed to. Yes, she would need a car seat in her car for Monroe, but I always had one provided by the parents in my car or they let me use their cars when I did the nanny thing. I just wondered if the nannies are cooped up in Monroe's room for a majority of the day.
  23. I used to nanny when I was in college and often if there was not a nanny cam they would have video baby monitors that they could access with the base or with phones/tablets. It is hard to tell with editing with how frequently they are checking the cameras. I would imagine if someone was purposely putting stuff in front of it they might check it more often. I think with the nanny cam being so accessible to view from their phones it makes it easier for them to check. I used to take the babies (and kids) for walks/playgrounds/parks and even run errands with them. I did not have any real difficult babies though. I wonder if Gema or any of the other nannies were allowed to take Monroe out. I think some of the problem is that Jeff and the rest work from home. Can the nanny take Monroe out into the common areas? I would go nuts if I was a nanny and had to basically stay in one room of the house for a majority of the time. Though if Monroe is that difficult maybe Gema and the previous nannies do not want to take her out. I would not be surprised if what Gema said about Zoila was true. The house assistant (I forgot her name) seemed to think that was the case as well. Didn't Zoila have some issues with the housekeeper that Jeff hired a season or so ago?
  24. He was in the 2015 movie Spotlight. He had a smaller part as a Cardinal.
  25. I would love to see the Postal Worker challenge from season one again. That is one of my favorite episodes of PR. I love Austin modeling for Jay. I expected a lot more from Batani from the Road to the Runway episode, but she seems to be making a lot of bland clothes. I would think if prints were your thing that she would make better use of them. I actually like the group of designers this season, with exception of the twins and slightly Margarita. I like that this group is low drama with exception of the twins and whatever this cheating drama may involve. I think Ayana, Brandon, Kentaro, and Kenya have pretty clear points of view, but I find Amy and Michael likable as well. I may not like all their design aesthetics, but I would be fine with any of them winning. I love Brandon's designs. Ties hanging down and all.
