  1. I am disappointed that Mandy Morre did not get an Emmy nom. I am no expert, but I thought Mandy did such an emotional & in-depth portrayal of an older woman with dementia & then close to death. I was moved by her performance, and thats what I always consider when thinking about someone is worthy of awards.
  2. "Ghost Bo" is really cheesy. Dont care for Steve Burton's 'sour face". John dancing at the Pride Party was pitiful. The best part was seeing Patch & Kayla with their 3 kids...new Joey was good. I dont remember who Megan Hathaway is....
  3. I watched the 1st episode of "Generation Gap", it was just really silly & had me rolling my eyes, and then at the end, the contestants could win a Car or a kids riding toy & they have a toddler pick the prize for the family & of course the kid picks the toy, not the real Car! If I had been a contestant, I would have felt gypped.
  4. I have not been a CIN fan, but I did feel sad at the end of today's show, so many characters leaving, but what in the heck was Ciara wearing to go sailing?! A tight purple sweater & a tight, short black skirt with strings hanging all off of it! I did think the Christening was heart-felt & I enjoyed the scene with Ciara saying good-bye to Grandpa Victor, altho John Aniston looks so frail, it made me sad. Sigh~~
  5. Have finally caught up on episodes, due to Holidays, etc. Have to agree with everyone that Ciara's outfit was totally inappropriate for a funeral! Maybe Ciara thought it was 'sailing wear"?! Nancy trying to cover for Clyde about where she got the bracelet was ridiculous! How can she be so dumb?! On the other hand, the July 4th episode was So Depressing :( Why did they have that episode on a Holiday? I'm so Old I can remember when the Summer storylines were fun & had adventure, even as an Adult, I enjoyed the "Teen Scene"...remember when the Teens were on an Adventure to find Alice's ring(or necklace?)? The 4th of July would have the couples on a picnic in the Park, people watching Fireworks..there really is no Romance anymore :( Meanwhile, I'm feeling as Sad as Doug & Julie that everyone is leaving Salem...there will be nobody left that I am interested in or can root for.
  6. Yes, I would have liked some up-dates on these groups...what are they doing now? Especially the Light guys from Ukraine, with all that is going on over there, are they still in Ukraine or did they find opportunities in the US?
  7. I did not agree with who won this week, I would have picked the young kid, Sebastian.
  8. I, too, was happy to see Nightbird...it brought tears to my eyes to see her again, so young, her voice was sweet & full of emotion...that moment deserved to be # 1.
  9. Yea, I am seeing Alyssa all the time on CNN, maybe she is more interested in working there than at "The View"...
  10. I'm a Sap, but I did get teary-eyed when Eli & Julie were dancing together, it was a lovely scene. I enjoy Lamon Archey(Eli) and will miss him. And I thought the scene with Lani & her siblings, Theo & Chanel, was lovely too. And little Jules & Carver are Adorable! Sal Stowers tears looked real.
  11. I did not recognize that song that Julie & Doug were singing to the babies...anybody else recognize it? It did not seem to be a very soothing lullaby, but the "fake" baby quieted down :)
  12. I did get a kick out of Joy behind the bar mixing up crazy drinks & then 'marrying" that couple!
  13. Today's show had me both teary-eyed & laughing. The scene between Chad & John was so emotional & had me teary-eyed, John bringing up his memories of Isabella, Chad remembering Abby's last words were "I Love You". Then, I was lol when Sammi, hobbling on crutches heads for the door & says "I'll get the door myself" & also when both Eric & Rafe chomped down on big sandwiches :)
  14. This is a fun show, I am glad Ana was included. The segment with Sarah & Sunny going down the water slides was so funny, and I am laughing at Sunny being the one to get drinks sent to her by men in the casino, lol.
  15. I think you are correct, tonight(June 26) we see Bella looking at a picture of a man in a locket...her child's father? And yes, I think you are correct about the singer/dancer woman traveling with the "Art Dealer". The Italian 'mayor" really was mean to blackmail the owner of the hotel(I still havent figured out her name) and her husband is a terrible person.
  16. Thanks for posting these photos...I love Camilla's full-skirted romantic look...
  17. On the Daytime Emmy Awards show tonight, The Kelly Clarkson Show won for Best Talk Show....Kelly was not there in person, but all her Producers were there to accept the Award..
  18. Well, I am trying to think of everything. Galen Gering & Camilla Banus presented an award, Camilla looked so pretty in a full skirted gown & Galen always Handsome in a Tux. Ari Zucker was there with a young woman(I am assuming her Teen-age daughter?) When they had a Kiss-Cam, Ari Zucker kissed some woman at their table, lol. Deidre was sitting with Thaoo Pengalis & Galen & his wife, Jenna. Billy Flynn was sitting with Stephen Nicols. Marci Miller was there with her husband, she looked pretty...The actress who plays Ali Horton(I dont remember her name) was there with I am assuming is her Boyfriend, she was very emotional during the tribute to John Aniston. Robert Wilson(Ben/Ollie) was there with a glamorous looking woman, I guess the new GF? Ken Corday was at a table with Ron C. & Albert Alaar. Susan Lucci looked pretty(but she always does) as she introduced the "In Memoriam" and then Michael Bolton sang a song. Drew Barrymore gave out the Final Award for Best Daytime Drama which went to "General Hospital". Everyone was happy to have the Awards in person again.
  19. Jeopardy just won the Daytime Emmy Award for Best Game Show. Michael Davies, the Producer, accepted the Award & thanked both terrific Hosts, Ken & Mayim, and also congratulated all the super-winners this season like Amy & Matt Amodio.
  20. Update on Daytime Emmys: Ron accepted the award for Best Writing for a Daytime Drama...lots of the cast are there & excited for him...
  21. I dont know where to post this, but I am watching the Daytime Emmys & they had a really nice tribute/Lifetime Achievment award for John Aniston, with an introduction by his daughter, Jennifer Aniston, and then Suzanne Rogers presented his award(even tho John was not able to be there in person).
  22. Yes, that was a gutsy wager. And I'm glad you are OK, nothing worse than getting tiny pieces of glass in your hand or foot. I was rather excited that I got FJ, mainly because I had a History teacher who loved saying "Damn the Torpedos, Full Speed Ahead"!
  23. ITA, there are so many characters, I had trouble keeping them all straight, especially all the gentlemen. But, it is great viewing for the eye-candy location, the hotel/home is fabulous(Love all the lemon colors), great costumes. But, I am confused about the 'exotic" young woman in the large hat & skimpy bathing suit, what is her story? And the American man she is traveling with? Is the Indian doctor in love with Lucian? Where is the little girl's father?(the little grand-daughter?)...So many questions, but I will tune in again for the scenery...
  24. A couple of fun/entertaining acts tonight: The Golden Buzzer was a good pick, I thought the Arabic women were very cool & unique. The woman on the Pole turned out to be more entertaining than I was expecting. And the Comedian from Georgia was one of the better Comics I've seen on this show. I also enjoyed the Twins with their Hockey sticks, again it was unique, but I'm not sure what more they could do with that act. The guy who did a Dance/Magic act to Heidi's video was amusing.
