  1. Rashawn is kind of quiet but seems to like his parents, or at least tolerate their antics while on the couch with them. I enjoy the easy family relationships in the Egbar bed, but yeah. The father's dating comments definitely caused some raised eyebrows on my end. There was maybe too much armpit-smelling going on, but all the exuberant dancing was fun. I really want Blake, Scott, and Emerson to join up with Brandy and Julie.
  2. I would have been thrilled with a fun shopping day if it was me! Nobody said she had to buy anything. Jeez. I still cannot understand all the brides who get totally "overwhelmed" and "exhausted" and "confused" and "miserable" after trying on 3-5 damned dresses! I suppose it's all part of the (neurotic) reason so many of them go to K's in the first place -- being unrealistically fixated on having the perfect wedding experience. After all, it's their day. The only important one they'll have in their entire lives! Better spend $30K and wreck themselves making sure it's everything they've ever wanted.
  3. Aw, crumb. We all expected it, but still. "Unfollow"
  4. I wasn't aware of his presence, so seeing him tonight in the First Look preview was an unpleasant surprise. Padma promised that we'd be seeing a lot of him, so I may not be able to watch this season. Bad Blaise!
  5. I enjoyed Julie and Brandy's discussion of how much money they'd take to suck a dick.
  6. At least none of the artists made a scene this time about refusing to touch some stranger's ass! I wonder how long it takes before the clients can sit ... I don't have any tattoos so am speaking from ignorance, but isn't there anything that can be done to lessen the pain? Topical anesthetics, lighter touch, ice, different needles? And what part of the body isn't "the worst" pain? The ribs! The ass! The neck! The back of the knees! The scalp! The feet! Why is it that the lower back isn't "the worst," yet move 3" down and it's hell pain.
  7. I skipped that part -- did the jury say why they voted the way they did? The major flaw was that the two sides didn't look to be linked thematically at all, but each individual piece wasn't bad.
  8. I'm not familiar with the actor from anything I remember and don't find him all that attractive, so I'd just call it plain over-acting. The faces he pulled when pretending to watch Abe skateboard were ridiculous.
  9. So the idea is that children who don't like taking baths will eagerly hop in as long as they have a soapy plush toy? Despite the fact that any of a hundred other bath toys are already available? I'm dubious. The guys both seemed nice, though, and I felt bad that they went "all in" on this dippy idea. Which has already been done and can easily be ripped off by the dollar store. If everything else she did wasn't dumb enough, the obnoxious lawyer even had to apologize for her poor sewing skills. She couldn't be bothered or didn't know how to make better quality samples to show on national TV. Yeesh. I also think her dog went beyond "calm" to "stupor."
  10. Anne wasn't very sympathetic to me but I felt there were enough discrepancies and questions in the case that she shouldn't have been convicted.
  11. All I know is I keep reading "Bombast" for the product name because of the logo at the end. Or because of the presenters.
  12. And bringing the real: Facial hair bleach chemical burns. Oh, Jolen.
  13. Huh. Am I over it? Was two hours too much? Did I discover that my life actually was just dandy without ST over the summer months? Don't know, but I was bored and disinterested in the products, the pushers, and the sharks.
  14. Was this the first time they showed one of the witnesses/suspects? I'm not sure how hearing from the wife in the present day added to the story, but seeing her so old now took me out of the show. I don't know why, because Kenda is young in the re-enactments, as are the other detectives, the newspeople, etc.
  15. It was sweet when Natalie's boyfriend gasped and teared up a little when her final two models walked out on the stage. The final paint jobs were all kind of sloppy and looked amateurish. I guess I was glad Dutch didn't win, although Natalie sure was in the bottom a lot to be the ultimate victor. Shannon started and ended as a non-entity to me. Oh, and the winner reveal was cute. I never got past Ru Paul seeming out of place here. While Rebecca was fine as a host, she always looked like she'd grown out of her clothing and everything was 6" too short.
  16. Lancaster was the epitome of awful as Madison Kellner on Everwood so she should talk to me if she's feeling bummed about her career since I see this as a huge step up for her.
  17. I agree with: dismal, meh, underwhelmed, ick, worst-looking, least-talented, horrifying, basic, touristy. I guess I liked Sandhya's the best, but 2-3 were clear stinkers and as everyone as said, the lipstick colors were tragic. Is this transparent to show the model's yellow panties? I want to like it otherwise.
  18. Aw. Times have changed, but when I was in elementary school in the 50s, my mother would occasionally have a seamstress make custom clothes for her and twice had dresses sewn for me that matched hers. Swanking around in those dresses with my mom was heaven for me!! I felt super cool and soignee.
  19. Kini's outfit looked very smart with the coat off, but with it on, the peplum stuck out so much it looked like the model was wearing a tray table in front and smuggling hams on each side. Not so much stiffener, Kini, please.
  20. Huh. Seems like whenever I go to an episode summary here and the sidebar says if viewers generally liked/disliked an ep, I'm always opposite of the trend. So there's that. But I found this episode to be mostly sad. (1) Lindsey's breakup plot. She needs psychological help. (2) Becca and her husband. They're both pathetic caricatures and kind of despicable. I feel sorry for their baby-to-be. (3) Their awful party with guests who don't even like or know them and loud, public arguments that made me cringe watching them. I enjoyed the Gretchen/Jimmy storyline and Edgar is appealing, but maybe I'm taking this show too literally or something. There was very little saving grace for me.
  21. Was there no write-in option on the survey? I'm still loving the idea of Simon Doonan. Kathy might be okay but she can be too damned frenetic and camera-hoggish, always shoe-horning in her bits. Her history of being on the worst-dressed lists could work for her (comedy) or against her (credibility). She has been much better in the last few years since she's been using stylists.
  22. Oh, dear. I can understand the draw of banking some easy dough, but I wish they hadn't agreed to that. I don't care about Jamie and Doug (the junior Rancics) but I feel protective of Jason and Cortney. Doubt I'll be watching because I found the middle section of this series pretty boring already, but I hope their relationship can withstand the scrutiny. Wish them the best!
  23. Entertainment Weekly had a summer wrap-up article and mentioned that two Reckless episodes were among the top 10 TV downloads. (Or something similar. Don't quote me.) That's got to be a good sign, right?
  24. I didn't notice Monet's jewelry or shoes or dress. I did notice that Doug was once again wearing a sloppy-ish tee shirt. Guess he hopes that dressing like a teen will distract us from noticing that he's losing his hair. Could the reunion set have been any cheaper looking? And Dr. Schwartz needs to learn how to sit up straight. Dr. Joe is undoubtedly a twit, but 66% is an amazing success rate for any type of matchmaking service. Whether or not the two remaining couples stay together in the long run, I do give the "experts" credit. Sorry, I can't type that word sincerely. Since Jamie's turnaround was the primary storyline, I remain surprised that she was allowed so much freedom on social media. She all but told everyone the ending.
  25. Yeah, he's not a good enough actor to pull off the faux disgust and anger. Pipe down.
