  1. Jonathan from Property Brothers says he has turned down offers to be the Bachelor four times, one only a few weeks ago. I would definitely watch a season with him on it. He says the idea of dating in front of cameras would give him way too much anxiety.
  2. Reeves is one of my favorite characters on the show. I like that they are finally getting him involved. Although I think this season has been one of the best in a while, I do not appreciate the merry go round of new characters that we've had the past couple of seasons. I would like for there to be one season where nothing changes.
  3. Based on the preview I’m pissed.
  4. He has always been my favorite. I never blamed him for not picking someone the first time around. He probably shouldn't have picked Emily the second time, but he was doe-eyed from her from the very beginning. He did make that comment about "dodging a bullet" when her season started.
  5. The tagline "too glam to give a damn" is gross. It definitely makes it feel like she's in it for the fame and attention. I read another article that showed an instagram picture of her and her dog all loaded up in a car. Supposedly they are doing a cross country road trip to move her to his house.
  6. I don't know that sleeping with Becca while they were officially engaged is any worse than sleeping with the final 3 on back to back nights. That's far more disgusting to me and it happens almost every season.
  7. Arie and Lauren are in Iceland on vacation and are sharing pictures on social media. They look pretty happy, at least for the moment.
  8. Chris Soules has surfaced on instagram after almost a year away from social media. His attempts to get the charges against him were dismissed. His trial for leaving the scene of a fatal accident starts in November.
  9. He is contractually obligated to tell them everything. He can't just break up with her. I'm sure it is literally in his contract. I forget how long the contracts last, and the non-disclosure agreements last even longer. In order to get paid, and not get sued, he has to do what they tell him to do. She is the same way. He can't leave if they tell him not to. Sure, we would like to think that he would be strong enough to just walk away anyway, but with that kind of money on the line, and being so close to the end, I'm sure it's harder than we think. Anyone that goes on this show at this point must know that it is a free for all. These are the same people that continued to film after the Corinne thing last year. They aren't stand up people. There aren't any standards for this show. I feel for Becca, but she is being well compensated, and if she actually becomes the Bachelorette, then I will be even more suspicious about her motives. Most of the leads have regrets after it is over. I'm actually surprised more of them don't end up with the runner-up. I'm also a little dismayed at all of the negative comments towards Lauren. None of this is her fault yet there are some really terrible things being said about her. She may be naive in taking him back, but that doesn't make her a terrible person.
  10. Apparently, on Ashley's podcast, Arie talked about the rift with Jef. Supposedly it goes back to Sean and Catherine's wedding and how poorly Jef treated his date. According to Arie, Arie stood up for the date and Jef didn't appreciate it. Jef then got into an argument with Arie and several of the producers. That was the last time they saw one another. The article I read asked about the rumors that Jef hasn't been on any spinoffs despite desperately wanting to, and Arie said he doesn't know why Jef hasn't been cast. If he was fighting with producers, that would explain it. ETA: Who was Jef's date to that wedding?
  11. There are definitely pieces out there that are worth $11 each, but it's unlikely that the people that would buy something so pricey want something that is tied to the Bachelor nation. I too am a graphic designer, and I get why she wants what she wants, but I'm not sure she can connect the word "Luxury" and Bachelor and be successful.
  12. I actually like Brittany and her enthusiasm for the race. She's a life guard so that's where her "competitiveness" comes in. I respect that more than competitive eating.
  13. Does the most recent preview show one contestant stealing the gnome of another contestant? It's the BB girl saying that the other contestant (the one that's waiting to get engaged) forgot it at the task, and she, the BB girl, needs it, so she's not saying anything. Then it shows the other contestant running after her screaming her name and saying "She's got my gnome." In the past, haven't there been penalties for taking the belongings of someone else, even if it was unintentional?
  14. On Beyond Stranger Things, they discuss Billy. They said they needed a human antagonist. He is what Steve was initially supposed to be. That's basically it. Steve is my favorite. Hands down. When he's practicing his swing with the bat, or giving Dustin advice, I can really appreciate the growth of his character. He seemed to have trouble writing his college essay, so the thought of him staying in Hawkins and working with Hopper is plausible. He already mentioned staying around for Nancy. Last season, I would have cheered Nancy and Jonathan, but this year it felt like an afterthought, and GROSS to doing it in that guy's house. BARF. I really thought she'd made a huge mistake when she called her mom from the conspiracy guy's phone. If her home phone was tapped, wouldn't they have seen where she was calling from? I also was really disgusted at the death scene for Bob. First of all, RUN! Don't just stand there and stare at her. If nothing else, run up and hug her. Then, with ALL those dead bodies in that building, 4 of the dogs have to eat JUST him and they show a prolonged shot of it? The worst may have been when the dog stabs him in the side and he screams. Horrible and unnecessary, IMO.
  15. It's been a while since I read the article, but didn't it say that she followed the law at the time? How is that malfeasance?
  16. I like Nick, but when I saw that neither wanted to move, I knew that eventually they would break up.
  17. Most 10 year olds wouldn't stay in their rooms for 14 hours, but most 10 year olds don't have mothers who are conducting drug deals in the kitchen. He stayed because she drilled it into his head to stay in his room until she came for him. He probably did hear the gunshot, and that's why he stayed. Because that's his mother taught him to do in order to protect him. He stayed until he couldn't stay anymore and had to come out. I feel so sorry for him.
  18. This is an interesting article about the Temple case. It's long but interesting. What a mess. http://www.houstonpress.com/news/unreasonable-doubt-did-kelly-siegler-really-railroad-an-innocent-man-eight-years-ago-7860329
  19. I don't doubt her sincerity for a moment. She cries when she meets with those families. In one episode, when they couldn't solve it, she was on her knees in front of a family member, crying and apologizing for failing to find the killer. She may have gone too far. That I believe can happen. I also think she probably really thought she was toeing the line in terms of what she had to turn over to the defense. Regardless, Johnny Bonds still respects her enough to work with her and I think that means something. If I had to have someone fighting on my side, I could do worse than Kelly Siegler.
  20. Didn't they say that Yolanda wanted to spend more time with her family?
  21. I don't think the traps were still there on the way back. Otherwise, he could have just picked them up, tied them on, and then gone back to the judge. I think producers removed them and made them go all the way back, which seems a little much.
  22. There is a site that I read that always does interviews post race. It's always both racers, but this week, so far, it's only Mike. He admits that it is 100% his fault that they were eliminated. They were 20-30 minutes behind Team Fun, and they wasted 2 hours because he refused to turn around. He says they pulled over and he looked at the map and he was convinced he'd found a way to cut through without having to turn around, but obviously he was wrong. He also says his comments on Vanck were "taken out of context" and that they u-turned them because of a "six team decision" and because they were smart, capable, and a threat. Sure.
  23. I really like that he repeatedly brings the focus back to the victim instead of focusing on Chris. Well done.
  24. I haven't seen that post, so thank you. I have edited my post.
