  1. Georgiana asked Arthur to marry her last season, and he said no.
  2. Otis and Georgiana were in love in season 1, but Sidney did not approve, so he separated them. Otis came to Sanditon and Charlotte helped Georgiana and Otis meet secretly. Then, Georgiana was kidnapped. It turns out that Otis liked to gamble. He would often brag about his beautiful and rich girlfriend. The people he thought were his friends were not, and they kidnapped Georgiana and tried to whisk her away to Scotland so one of them could marry her and have access to her fortune. Apparently, you don't need a guardian's approval to marry in Scotland. Charlotte and Sidney chased them down and saved her. Otis had gambling debts, but he swore he never used Georgiana for anything or promised anyone her fortune. He was just really proud of his hot girlfriend. She dumped him. I think she believed him, but it was A LOT. That trip to London is the one people talk about where Sidney yelled at Charlotte and was so horrible to her. It is also the one they refer to in S3 episode 1 when Ralph is shocked to hear that Charlotte has been to London before. She never told him about Sidney or Colbourne.
  3. Yes! She even mentioned him by name. I really like the continuity of that. Charlotte also discusses Ralph several times early on in S2. She mentions that her father really wants her to marry him but she does not. Part of why she comes to Sanditon in S2 is to escape the pressure to marry Ralph. Allison is also not a fan of the idea. They announced when they started filming S2 that S3 would be the last. I watched them all on Passport the night it was released.
  4. I do think Charlotte's family works the land. In the very first episode she is hunting a rabbit with a shotgun. No one in Pride and Prejudice was doing that.
  5. In the first season, Charlotte is shown hunting rabbit with a shot gun. I think the definitely work their own land.
  6. The entire season is available on PBS Passport for anyone that would like to binge. It is $5 a month or $60 for the year.
  7. I was disappointed in the new Crossword Mystery. It seems that they all end the same way, and then the next one starts with Logan and Tess not having seen each other for months. He didn’t call her after the first one until he needed help with his sister and her wedding. Then, at the end of that one she was his date to the wedding. Then, on the next one, she’s surprised when he comes to her party. At the end of that one, he takes her out. Now, at the beginning of this one, he hasn’t seen her to know she cut her hair, but at the end, they are talking about being more open with each other. Lord. Get. A. Move. On.
  8. Charmaine didn't know Mel's history.
  9. I think it's been a little more than 5 months since they got engaged. It's been two months since their last episode aired.
  10. Those scenes with Ben are something, and they make me like Tayshia a whole lot less than I did. He shared things with her that he's not even shared with his family. He's been with her for a total of about 3 hours. What is wrong with these people? She's been on the show before. She knows how this works. I'm glad she cut him though. Someone who would criticize him and get mad at him for not begging to stay after she DUMPED him is not the right one for him.
  11. A young man can be expected to go without sex until his marriage is over. Full stop. He could have filed for divorce if he was that unhappy and she was that cold.
  12. I find the beard bros to be mean spirited. They haven't had to show it much because they've been consistently in the front of the pack. However, there have been hints of it when talking about G and D.
  13. Lord. That interview is awkward. She's still so angry. She wants to blame Gary and DeAngelo for everything - even talking up the alliance. The brothers and the boyfriends talked about the alliance AT LEAST as much as Gary and DeAngelo.
  14. It should have been clear to the bearded bros when they arrived and no one was u-turned that everyone was behind them. They even said they would u-turn the siblings if they got to the mat before Gary and DeAngelo because it would make no sense to u-turn them at that moment with them so close behind. If they had gotten there first, then Gary and DeAngelo could u-turned one of the other teams. I would have liked to have seen that. I agree that watching the demonstration must not have been as obvious or as simple as it seems to viewers. Every single team missed that step. I don't think the producers left in the clips of the bickering at the roadblock because they agreed with Aparna. I think they were glad to finally have some conflict. I do think her anger was misplaced. I'm sure she understands it now.
  15. She definitely got it and even stated at the beginning of the episode that she was willing to use it on anyone. That’s when I knew she was going to get u-turned and be pissed about it. I don’t think DeAngelo was flustered by her. I think he was laughing at her. Gary just flat ignored her. Her anger would be much better focused on the boys who burned a u-turn and didn’t put someone behind her. That’s who she should be angry with. Didn’t they all say the Mine 5 was over? The top 3 alliance is so dumb. They should want to eliminate the other strong teams - not help them. DUMB. I hope NFL wins.
  16. This is why I think she needs a female friend her own age in Virgin River. Her sister calls from time to time, but she needs a friend on a daily basis.
  17. I still love it. I liked Season 1 so much better though. I don't think they need to rely on old cliches when they have such interesting stories about grief and PTSD. I also think Mel needs a good girlfriend in town. She's missing that. They try to address it with her sister, but she really just needs a friend that is a woman near her own age.
  18. I thought I'd read that they filmed both seasons back to back, but I'd be surprised if that's the case. Charmaine's writing in particular was very uneven. One minute she's thanking Mel and the next she's being a total brat about the situation. In the first season, she understood that Jack wasn't going to commit, and although he'd told her that he wasn't going to do that, she was still sad but realistic. This season, she is insane and it's frustrating to watch. It also doesn't seem to make sense that the characters keep interacting with known or suspected killers. It's dumb and too dark for the series. This series works best as romantic comedy with some light drama. The scenes with Mel and Jack that focus on their relationship, her grief, and his PTSD work the best. The drug stuff is just too dark and is jarring compared to the scenery and the rest of the storylines. Jack's behavior in that storyline also doesn't seem to fit given that he promised Mel she would never have to lose him and then he repeatedly puts himself in harm's way. Finally, did anyone else get the feeling that Jack's friend from his troop had hooked up with Charmaine? Since she is still in the first trimester, I still suspect that the babies will end up not being Jack's. I imagine that the clue is in her bloodwork and that the timing won't match up. Speaking of timing, when Jack told his buddy that she was pregnant, he mentioned that they'd only been broken up for a month. If they had sex two weeks before they broke up, she'd only be 6 weeks pregnant, which makes the whole freaking storyline line even dumber since she likely wouldn't even know she was pregnant yet and certainly not for a whole month.
  19. Here's the thing about the blondes. We really don't know if they really are bad racers. They are one of the only teams that did almost every single task on their own. All of the others that are left were helping one another. Who knows how they would have done without being given the answers? I'd love to see them again. I've watched a LOT of seasons, and I've never seen a team as positive and enjoyable to watch as the blondes. I also really, really don't like the secret top 3. They don't mind taking help from Gary, but they aren't giving it in return? When they know the blondes are going to be last? What would it have hurt to help Gary? All the bearded brother did by withholding information is show his hand to Gary that they were on the outs of the alliance. That was dumb.
  20. That was not Hung's taxi. She ran past it. I cannot figure out how she thinks they stole it from her.
  21. I didn't love the bearded brother complaining at the carnival task. He was being WAY over the top. He REALLY wanted to come in first.
  22. I noticed that they were the only ones that still had whipped cream in their hair as they finished the leg.
  23. I've watched that trailer more than I should have, for sure. I'm worried about what the combination of the bed rest and the crying scene could possibly mean. I really think making Charmaine pregnant with Jack's baby really knocked the storyline off course and was a big mistake. Unless it's not his baby, the storyline is a mess. If Charmaine loses the baby, that's incredibly sad since she clearly wants the baby so much. If she has the baby, and leaves with it, that's sad too. From what I've read, this is not the way Jack and Mel's story goes in the books, and it's an obvious way to drag out the will they/won't they past one season. I think it was a miscalculation.
  24. Oh, I don't think he chooses Charmaine. I think that Mel drags it out saying she doesn't want to come between them, while he is basically begging her to be with him. I hope that's wrong. I also noticed that Charmaine looks to be on bed rest in the preview, and I don't like that road either. I'm sure it will be better than I am worrying about though.
  25. I learned of the IG account from other blind celebrity accounts that I follow. It's pretty well known for blind celebrity items and for celeb sighting reports. She's pretty up front that she can't 100% verify all information she receives. She just shares it.
