  1. I think Kathryn slept with Whitney, Shep and TRav. I'm so happy the Southern Charmers are back, bless their hearts. Can we get a thread a la Vanderpump Rules' "The Chuckelfucks Sound Off" where we can put their one liners?
  2. I love this miniseries! It is what introduced me to Jane Austen and a whole new world of literature. Oh yes, and Colin Firth. I am loathe to defend Mrs. Bennet but she would have been pleased had Mr. Collins married any of the Bennet girls, save Jane. It was self-preservation from her point of view as well as solving the problem of getting her daughters married off and as well as possible. Had one of her girls married Mr. Collins, Mrs. Bennet would never have to leave Longbourne, even upon Mr. Bennet's death, and neither would any unmarried Bennet girls. Their place in society and in their home would be secure. So I do understand her pushing Lizzie (although I don't agree.) And while she did tell Mrs. Phillips (I believe?) that Jane being matched with Bingley would lead to the other Bennet girls being put in the paths of rich men, what was the likelihood that each would find an only or elder son with the leisure to marry whom he chose? None of the girls came with substantial dowries and people like Caroline Bingley and Louisa Hurst considered the Bennet family and their relations significantly below themselves.
  3. Watching this detective accuse every single suspect or potential suspect of Shelley's murder makes it very clear how the West Memphis 3 were convicted. Good grief. This episode felt very bloated to me. Couldn't they have done it in an hour? Really sad for Shelley and her family. I haven't check out Daniel's appeal but I'm guessing he's going to blame the Navy for not diagnosing him as a violent and jealous asshole? Yeah, whatever, Daniel. The Navy is full of them. Shelley's artwork WAS incredible.
  4. I DVR'd this when it originally aired and finally watched it over the weekend. I'm with you all in that Nancy Pfister was a miserable person. No one deserves to be murdered but she was nowhere close to a sympathetic victim. The entire thing is sketchy to me. The Stylers would have good reason to snap and hit her, from her disgusting treatment to coming home early to refusing to allow them to retrieve their own property. But Kathy's actions were puzzling as well. It was hard enough to see that blood smear on the headboard KNOWING it was there. Why didn't she call the police from Nancy's house when she suspected something? How did she know Nancy was covered in blood when you couldn't see a darn thing? She did seem overly hysterical although I guess MMV on that. I would hazard to guess that the person who killed her did not want to confront her and it was not a spur of the moment crime based on the fact she was attacked in her bed.
  5. You know shit is bad when Ayden is struck speechless and cannot comment.
  6. I watched a fair portion of this last night before I fell asleep. I thought it would be good, campy fun. Parts of it were. I do agree with other posters though that it was a mistake, a big mistake, to not introduce us to Prince Robert and have him die at the end of the first episode. I'd like to know what the dynamics were in the family while he was alive. Was he a responsible king-to-be? Was his accident a result of his recklessness? And if he was reckless, was it because he truly didn't want the "top job?" I also cannot stand the character of Ophelia. Mistake. I think if Prince Liam is supposed to be like Prince Harry (and Prince Andrew before him), he should have been shown with a variety of different women. Because that would certainly have to change if Liam is now going to be the next king. No way, no way, no way would Ophelia EVER have been permitted to stand up with the royal family in any official capacity if she were not married or engaged to Liam, much less the funeral of Prince Robert. Please. I did think the cousins modeled after Beatrice and Eugenie were funny, although making them resemble B & E was a bit cruel. I also thought it was a cruel dig at Sarah Ferguson to have the line to the uncle about the ex-wife suffering with syphilis and the cousins were the result. Repeating but the casting of Princess Eleanor was terrific. She looks so much like Elizabeth Hurley it's frightening. I like King Simon and I think Hurley was well cast as she can do campy very well. I may try to catch a repeat to view the parts of the episode I missed. Not sure if this is a must-see or not.
  7. The guy that had the magnets to keep the collars of men's shirts down. Barbara and Daymond invested with him. Great product but the guy had Aspberger's or something. He was incredibly rude and I remember him throwing his hand up to Daymond with a "whatever!" Just thinking about him makes me stabby. Ha ha! This makes me think of the Sex and the City episode where Charlotte is diagnosed with a depressed vagina. I actually thought her bras and knickers were very pretty. I don't think $60 is out of line for a bra when you consider what Victoria's Secret and other stores charge. I am very loyal too but I have the opposite problem several of you posters do. I am on the small side and have a terrible time finding a bra that is comfortable and fits me properly without completely flattening me out. The lady's valuation was completely jacked though. If she had been more realistic, even as argumentative as she was, she clearly still would have gotten a deal with Daymond. I didn't get the glove thing at all. Glad I'm not the only one. Sure, they are cool to look at. For a hot minute. But to buy? Never.
  8. Other than Nene's Heatmiser/Coldmiser hair (thank you, Bosawks!) this shit was boring until about 45 minutes in. In other words, when the group counseling session started. I figured that was going belly up as soon as Nene started braying and wouldn't keep her fat mouth shut. You'd never know it was HER idea to bring in the therapist. Porsha is dumb as a box of rocks but damn if girl's hair didn't look fantastic.
  9. Ironic how Kim can defend every little thing Brandi does as a JOKE, for heaven's sake but God forbid that Kyle not run around defending her at every second and Lisa and Eileen mention concern for Kim. Brandi too can make a JOKE about Kim's drinking and drugging and it's all good and merry but if Lisa and/or Eileen dare to offer help or concern about Kim's alleged sobriety, it's not funny, it's not a joke and they are clearly attacking Kim's children. Kim is a fucking nut.
  10. Watching Love Conquers Al right now - and I don't think I've seen this epi before. Shocker!!
  11. I wish for this every single week! Amen. I love me some Robert.
  12. Brandi's ghostwriter needs another lesson in Grammerly because isn't acting fake in general? Aren't you faking something when you're acting? So "fake bad acting" means not bad acting? Or not acting at all? A double negative? From Lisa V's blog: Lisa referenced this in regard to Brandi saying that Eileen was a homewrecker. I completely agree with Lisa's take and, once again, find it highly ironic that it's Brandi who made this remark after her bestie Kim laid into Eileen for supposedly doing the same thing to her (and Lisa R at the dinner) by insinuating that Kim is an addict. Kim and Brandi are expert at attempting to twist whatever they want into any shape they want. Lisa's blog is a thing of beauty. I think Brandi is good and fucked. If Andy had to choose between Lisa and Brandi, there is no way in hell he's going to upset Lisa V. Not only that, it appears that Brandi is going to lose her loyal attack dog, Kim next week. Who does that leave her? YoFo? I think Yo has pretty much had it with Brandi and Kim. No one is going to want to film with her and understandably so. As Lisa said, Brandi destroys the relationships close to her and I think that includes self-destruction. I simply cannot wait for this reunion. I think shit is gonna get very, very real.
  13. Brandi IS a social disorder. I did like YoFo last night, except for her telling Kyle that God's plan and job for her is to take care of Kim. Sorry, no. I think God's plan would be for Kim to take care of Kim. But back to YoFo - - I think she was a generally fantastic travel host. I loved that she was so proud of her country. Too bad some of the women didn't appreciate where they were. I liked seeing Eileen and Kyle seeing the sights of Amsterdam. You can go shopping back home, for heaven's sake. Not saying you don't want to get some souvenirs or check out something Holland is known for but lingerie? Clothing? Really? I would much rather have been with Kyle and Eileen and seen art, architecture, the city and then enjoyed some cafe au lait. And those pancakes . . . heavenly. While Kyle's seemingly neverending crying does get on my nerves, I felt for her last night. She just cannot win with regard to Kim. Ever. I know it's her sister but I really think she needs to dose out some tough love and cut her off. She really should have given Kim a taste of her own medicine and lit into her for not defending her against Brandi . . . and then tell her that Kathy most certainly would have because Kathy is a REAL sister. Ugh. Bish. I do think LisaR is a people pleaser and I also think she's running scared right now because Kim does know something. She's terrified that Kim will spill the beans on whatever it is and is basically placing nice to placate her. Sad, really, because that's what most everyone has been doing for four or five seasons. Kim wigs the fuck out and then it's like it never happened. No wonder Eileen is confused. Regarding the slap, it was assault and it was totally wrong. I don't care if Brandi was joking or not. Lisa told her no, period. End of story. It's on film so if I was Lisa I would be sorely tempted to tell Brandi I was going to sue her for assault. Let her sweat a little bit. It's not that Lisa was physically hurt, it's the principal of the thing. Brandi can't run around and act like a two year old and think there are no repercussions. No wonder Eddie dumped her ass. Whoever coined the Lemon Palace for YoFo's home - - you deserve a medal. Genius. I cannot wait for next week. Let stupid Kim see how awesome her bestie Brandi is. I can't wait to see how Brandi will try to squirm out of that. And please let Eileen be part of that conversation because, as others have said, Eileen doesn't give two fucks and she will calmly and cooly put it on the table.
  14. I will add more thoughts shortly once I have time to process but the one thing I have to say now is that Kim and Brandi are assholes. I love Eileen and I want to be Eileen. It's rich that Brandi, who freaks out when Kyle touches her, finds it okay to slap to Lisa V (or anybody.) She is so inappropriate it makes my brain hurt. Kim goes off at Kyle for not defending her at the Dinner from Hell but sits there like a bump on a log while Brandi goes off at Kyle. Fuck you, Kim. Kim and Brandi are assholes.
  15. I came in here to post exactly this. I couldn't tear my eyes off that pinkie (Not Pinky) ring. Really, WTF? I was truly expecting him to get up and show that his jacket had "FI" bedazzled on the collar. I didn't think I could dislike the Nugget anymore but . . . I guess I can. Why oh why didn't Andy or Lisa say something about the Nugget's smug crying in the taxi in Miami and how FI didn't comfort her immediately? Ugh. The faces those two made at each other (I guess they were vacationing?) made me wonder if I had ever done that and, if so, made me want to travel back in time to punch myself in the throat. Instead of "shut up, James" it should have been "STFU, Nugget!" Speaking of James, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I kind of like him now. I like that he wasn't intimidated by the Original Chucklefucks. Although he would have done a great public service by gagging Kristen for part of the reunion. So StASSi is a special guest star? In what way? Because she had to take time out of her busy, statement necklace making, goat cheese ball eating schedule to appear? I'm guessing she wouldn't have received a paycheck without appearing at the reunion. Did she knock over a Nascar track and steal the flag on the way over? What was with that outfit? Her George Glass sounds like a real prize. Way to go, StASSi. Keep it klassy. I also wonder what the story is with the money she was asking Jax for. I mean, I understand if you need financial help but Jax? The same dude who is still riding on his dad's insurance policy like 50 years after he became legal to drive? I could buy the STD theory or the pregnancy/abortion theory. I'm also wondering about drugs. We know Jax dabbled, at the very least. If he was doing it, it's not a stretch to think he may have gotten his girlfriend into it. It could also explain why StASSi was relatively thin in previous years and has put some weight on recently. Just an idea. Schwartz . . . going to propose at next week's reunion? Really? What a story to tell the kids. I proposed to your mom on part 2 of the Chucklefucks' Reunion! Because she was mad about the SMALL ring on a string I gave her! And I didn't want to become a wanna be Clooney like Uncle Jax so I had to! I suppose that's no worse than thinking about the smuglets that FI and the Nugget would have. I think I feel sick. So the Miami thing was a whole lotta nothing unless they are going to revisit it. Why not have Miami Girl make a special appearance and have her confront FI. He can't exactly catch an Uber on the stage. I would die laughing if Miami Girl told the Nugget that FI was indeed texting her (since Face Time didn't work in that particular hotel room) while getting down with Miami Girl. That would wipe the smug right off Nugget. Otherwise . . . eh. Nothing too shocking. Next week looks more promising.
  16. I am going to see if I can change the shipping address to my office. I'd really like the tote. It's too bad they were so unprepared for an influx of orders.
  17. Hopefully the Nugget is not only the smartest person she's ever known in her life but also the cleanest.
  18. Karl, thank you for posting. Please know that your family and Paul are in our thoughts and prayers in the hope that justice will finally be served for your cousin.
  19. I received an update on my Taaluma tote this morning. Estimated delivery is May or June. Right when I will be moving. Ugh. The email said that people were working on the fabric and then it will be shipped to Virginia, where it will be made into a tote. I'm confused. When I ordered, the website told me they still had stock of the fabric I chose so it seems like there shouldn't be any delay in getting the fabric. Unless they got a TON of orders from the east coast right after the show aired because I ordered out here on the west coast right after the show aired. Bummer.
  20. You bring up a really good point and I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned during the program if Bethany died from the overdose or from suffocation or the time of death. What if they were drugging her in order to assault her, or drugging her while they went about their own sexual activities, and she died of an overdose? It would make more sense to me than a suicide.
  21. I really loved this movie. Didn't expect much and had not heard a lot of buzz but it was a great little summer movie with fantastic acting all around. Count me in as a poster who is glad the movie didn't go there with Gretta and Dan. It made the movie that much more special by NOT having the leads fall in love.
  22. My stupid DVR didn't record this on Friday. Thank God it's on tonight or I may have to keep myself inebriated until Sur o'clock.
  23. I remember The Edge of Night. I didn't watch it but one of my friend's moms did and I do remember seeing parts here and there when I would be at their house. I do remember a woman named Renata giving birth to a baby during a fire or something like that and she died, although the baby was saved. I also remember Lori Loughlin being on Edge. With regard to Brandi - - I liked her when she first came on because I was in the same boat she was, although clearly in a much less publicized way. My ex cheated on me and ended up leaving me for his younger, very stupid side piece. It hurts. It sucks. But you cannot let the pain of what someone did to you make you bitter and turn on everyone else. Yes, I probably am more sensitive to cheating than the average person (like Brandi.) However, I am not going to judge Eileen and her relationship because I wasn't there, it didn't involve me and I don't know what happened. Maybe she did cheat on her second husband. Maybe she told him the truth and ended their marriage before starting with Vince. Maybe it did end horribly but she and her ex worked it out. I don't know and unless Eileen wants to share it with us, it doesn't really impact us. Or Brandi. I don't see the super reserved or "above it" persona that some see (not saying it's not there, just that I don't see it). In some ways I do think Eileen IS truly above it because she doesn't sink to Brandi-Kim levels of narcissism and hysteria.
