  1. Can't remember the episode, but one moment that makes me laugh is after Zach proposes to Lane, and Lane is walking around the diner in a daze, and Luke is moving after her and fixing what she's doing. She gives a toaster to a customer and Luke follows her and takes it away from the customer. Makes me smile every time
  2. I cry every time at Bon Voyage, when Lorelai and Rory pull up and see the party that's been thrown for Rory, and then we see everyone there, crying and clapping, and then later with Rory's speech, Emily saying she's proud to be Rory's grandmother, and Richard's comment to Lorelai about 'a remarkable person' I don't cry much at TV, but this episode gets me every time
  3. I'm rewatching Season 6 for the first time... and I don't actually dislike as much as I thought I did. And I really like Logan, I don't remember liking him that much. Just got up to Friday Night's Alright for Fighting and I love Rory and Logan trying to get the issue of the paper out, especially Logan's stalling phone call to the printers
  4. I can't stop listening to that song. Was one of my favourite parts of the movie
  5. Lorelai and Rory singing the Pippi Longstocking theme in We Got Us a Pippi Virgin always makes me laugh
  6. Downfall by Rob Thurman, the latest Cal Leandros book. It was awful, and so, so boring, plus an awful cop-out ending As one reviewer said: 'Too much Robin and too many 'clever' fake outs. Too much maudlin reminiscing about reincarnations.' There also wasn't enough Niko, be barely did anything in the whole book, he was mostly just 'there'. Mild spoiler:
  7. I prefer paper books. I love buying cheap books from charity shops and library sales. Weirdly, I also find it easier to concentrate when reading a physical book, I get distracted easier with an ebook, especially if the book isn't very good
  8. I've seen: Steps (twice in 2012 which was amazing, 'cause I was too young to see them on my own the first time they were around, and no-one would take me. Seeing them was like a dream come true for me, especially as the first time was the day before my birthday) Cradle of Filth Evanescence (they were really good, but Amy's voice was going, and I was worried that she was going to lose it before the end of the night) The Pretty Reckless (they opened for Evanescence) And I'm seeing Poets of the Fall on Sunday, and I'm so excited. I never thought I'd get to see them, as they've never been around the UK or anywhere close till now
  9. Not sure if this is really the right thread, but I wasn't sure where else to put it. Why is everything so dark and why do all the guys look the same? Why do they all have black hair and I can barely tell Finn and Bellamy apart in the daytime, but in the dark scenes everyone looks the same. Jasper's my favourite character and I can barely pick him out when it's dark.
  10. Wicked Girls by Seanan McGuire. Posting the live version from youtube. 3.53 to the end is my favourite part. I love the lyrics and the message
  11. I didn't necessarily have low expectations, but I wasn't expecting to like Seeking a Friend For the End of the World as much as I did. I really like Keira Knightley and Steve Carrell together and I really liked the ending
  12. Yeah there were some very strange bosses and bad guys - I always seemed to get 'Curry and Rice' in the Dice Palace, it was very annoying. Lightning Chaser was always the weapon I used, by far the best. Thanks to the comments in this thread, I managed to find a website to play all of the old Sega games, so I bought a USB controller to play with and I finally got to play Streets of Rage 2+3. I also found the unofficial Streets of Rage remake game, which is amazing
  13. Gunstar Heroes was amazing. Me and my step sister used to play it every weekend when we were little, but we could never complete it together. I did manage to complete it to my own though. Golden Axe was fun, I loved the magic stuff you could throw in the air and the dragon things you could ride. I don't think I ever played Streets of Rage 2, but I loved the first one. I was always Blaze, despite her not being as strong as the guys - 'cause I loved the flippy over things she did
  14. I still have my Sega Megadrive, but I only have a few games left and I can't work it with my TV. I still have my PS2 as well - I LOVED the Harry Potter games, Chamber of Secrets was my favourite. I was so happy when they put all the Sonic sega games on to one PS2 disc - even the blue sphere game (which we always called the Cabbage Patch game)
  15. I have a very irrational dislike of Shailene Woodley, and I'm not even entirely sure why. I think it's all the Divergent hype (read the book, thought it was stupid and didn't make any sense, and the fact that I kept hearing everywhere that it was so much better than The Hunger Games etc) and the fact that she was suddenly everywhere. I kind of like book The Fault In Our Stars, but seeing her in it just puts me right off. I'd probably feel similar about Theo James but I really liked him in Bedlam, so he has some good will from me, but even he can't make me watch the movie
  16. Has it been confirmed either way whether Ksenia Solo will be in Season 5 at all?
  17. Just watched Jess' birthday episode of New Girl and the birthday video Nick and the others made for her made me tear up a little. I love those sorts of things and it was just so sweet and nice
  18. I'm currently reading Michael Grant's Gone series, I'm on #5 Fear at the moment. I avoided the books at first because I thought they'd be really juvenile with the characters all being around 14 or younger, but they're actually darker than I expected and they're very readble
  19. Yay! That makes me happy. It's nice that more people are hearing about them and this amazing song
  20. I didn't like Captain America, thought Winter Soldier was a small improvement (mainly because of Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Mackie) but I didn't think it was 'the most amazing Marvel film ever' as I've been seeing everywhere. I like Chris Evans, but I prefer his snarky 'Johnny Storm' type characters, I just wasn't that interested in Captain America. And Thor was my favourite solo character Marvel movie.
  21. I wasn't a huge fan of the Twilight movie, but I loved Carter's Burwell's score. 'I Know What You Are' is the track that plays when Bella does her research on vampires and then Edward follows her into the woods, is my favourite, as soon as I heard it I knew I wanted the soundtrack. The video is quite quiet:
  22. There were some great fight scenes in Buffy. 2 in particular (sorry for the terrible video quality): Buffy vs. Faith in Graduation Day Part 1 The swordfight between Buffy and Angelus in Becoming Part 2 (Starts around 4.20): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmXH3zS7vIE
  23. I love Eva Green and really wanted to like Penny Dreadful, but I barely made it through the first two episodes. I do have the rest of the show on my Sky Box, but I can't bring myself to watch it. Also, I liked Believe, cheesy as it was at times
