  1. If Max likes dating older women, then I think Lisa should be glad he isn't dating Adrienne. I want a glass of Bella's mega strength wine to help me survive Christmas with my in-laws! I promise not to drive home! Kim's storyline with Monty is very touching, but I hope she has a plan in place to help her cope when he passes. Even though I want to see Eileen interact with the rest of the cast, it was interesting to see the Y&R set. I've never watched it, but I used to watch Days and AMC and liked the peek behind the scenes of a soap.
  2. I like how Yolanda's lemony polished version conveniently leaves out the fact that Bella was driving on a suspended license. ETA: I wonder if Yolanda still considers Bella a better version of herself?
  3. 'Cause Lisa R ain't channeling Joan Collins-The Dynasty Years! Seriously, I do think style has a lot to do with it. Lisa V's dated style ages her. I think she's very pretty. She just needs an extreme makeover.
  4. When Yolanda first came on the show, I posted that she reminded me of the character Bree from Desperate Housewives. She was trying too hard to convince us of her perfect life with her perfect king, her perfect kids and her perfect fridge. Now the skeletons are starting to come out. I suspect Gigi has a wild side as well and that we may start hearing more about it. I don't think Yolanda is a bad mother, she loves her kids. I do think she is very rigid and myopic and way too concerned with appearing perfect. Wirewrap's comment about Mohamed got me thinking about the extreme differences between life at Yolanda's house vs Mohamed's. It must be hard to bounce between them. Yolanda's uptight home must be pretty stressful. I'd probably cut loose any chance I got if I were Gigi's and Bella's age, although hopefully not to Bella's self-destructive extreme. I hope she gets her issues, whatever they are, worked out.
  5. I think all the stuff Brandi does to her face makes her look older. Is it about looking younger or about looking like you can afford lots of procedures? Because if it's the first one, I don't get how she looks in the mirror and thinks she looks younger or better. Ditto for Adrienne who will soon look more like a cat than Jocelyn Wildenstein.
  6. I'm interested to see her interact with some of the other housewives (I'm not counting Lisa Rinna since she is new also.) except Brandi. I have no desire to see Eileen or anyone else interacting with Brandi. I would like to see Eileen interacting with some of the others though.
  7. Kyle made me laugh with her new sightseeing outfit. She seemed so proud of it yet also seemed so uncomfortable in it. Yolanda's outfit looked so much more comfortable and practical. I like Kyle just a little more after seeing her dogs. I have a shepherd and a golden too!
  8. Or locked up and forced to listen to the ALDC kids recordings over and over nonstop for the rest of his/her life.
  9. I agree. A cactus would be perfect. If she really insists on a pet, she should stick with a chia pet, or maybe a pet rock.
  10. A couple small things: Was Brandi driving a Range Rover? If she can afford it fine, but then quit constantly whining about money. Didn't Brandi say or suggest, just a few episodes ago, that moving every year was no big deal to her and her boys? Now she suddenly seems realize they need some stability as far as their home situation goes. Then try not to blow it for them this time Brandi. I didn't think of it when watching the episode, but I think that whoever said up thread that Yolanda and Bella filmed their scene after the DUI arrest was really observant and totally accurate. That scene makes so much more sense that way. Finally, I thought Kimberly looked very pretty at the bridal shop. She was mostly in the background, but to me she is more striking looking than Yolanda's girls.
  11. For her boys' sake, I hope it's not the one that was used to test Brandi for STDs. I haven't watched the episode yet (I find these boards much more entertaining than the show), but if Brandi and Kim are running around together, the first famous duo that I thought of is "dumb and dumber". ETA: maybe Kim and Brandi should be "drunk and drunker".
  12. I'm not Tara, but what bugged me about that scene was when Jenna knelt down at the grave and Dr Jenn immediately knelt down next to her. She couldn't give Jenna space to have her moment at her mother's grave. When she was advising Cecily, I was thinking "is she really telling a woman who is in an abusive relationship to stay for the sake of the kids?" At a minimum, treach is verbally abusive. His behavior was seriously disturbing to me. He become a completely different person.
  13. Hoodoos, she didn't inspire the character. She played Mrs Wolowitz. It was her voice we heard. I wonder if they will have someone else play Mrs Wolowitz or if they will kill off the character? I'm not sure which one I would prefer. It is definitely sad. I guess I'm in the minority, but I didn't care for this episode. It was just ok for me. I did watch it kind of late so I'll probably watch it again and see if I change my mind. I get that Sheldon was worried about Leonard, but he just annoyed me most of the episode, and I guess stupidity is contagious because last season Penny couldn't use glue and this season Sheldon can't figure out a revolving door.
  14. I hate the idea of Sarah Hunt being on the show because she seems exactly like the type of kid Abby loves to pick on. She kind of reminds me of Paige in that sense. She's really sensitive and her mom is awful and will drive Abby crazy and Abby will take it out on Sarah who will cry and then Abby will yell at her even more for crying. I'm surprised she and her mom are returning since her mom refused to be on the reunion show. Maybe Sarah is competing for Candy Apples? That would be better for her, I think. Cathy is crazy but at least she doesn't appear to be abusive to her students.
  15. I wonder if the fetus growing more quickly will actually turn into the realization that the returned age more quickly. That would be a good way to deal with the fact that Jacob looks older this season, even though only a short time has passed, and would look even older/taller if there is a third season.
  16. My impressions: I never saw The Bachelor, but I agree with what everyone here has been saying about Nikki and Juan Pablo. Nikki wants him to say he loves her, but he won't because he doesn't. However, he dangles the possibility in front of her like a carrot on a stick. She's never going to catch the carrot, so she needs to give up and move on with her life. Treach and Cecily have serious problems. Besides the fact that she will never trust him, I get the feeling that he can't stand her. He just oozes contempt whenever he talks to her. From an earlier conversation about her acting career, I think maybe he feels like she's just using him. I have no idea why they stay together. I think Dick came on the show specifically to reveal his secret. I'm not sure why Stephanie didn't want to reveal it to the group. After Dick revealed it to Dr. Jen, it was going to be on TV anyway. Jenna manages to be both horrible and sad. I think her boyfriend will eventually come to his senses and realize that he can never make her happy. I don't think anyone can because she has too many issues. I thought Deena was being mature and logical when she suggested they stop speculating about Dick's secret. Cecily seems really self-centered. Edited to correct a typo.
  17. They named their twins after a John Cougar Mellencamp song? Too funny!
  18. Also, when Sheldon was claiming that he and Amy had the better relationship, the childish part of me wanted Leonard to throw their lack of almost any physical intimacy in Sheldon's face just to shut him up. Not that anything would shut Sheldon up plus it would have hurt Amy, but if I were Leonard, self-centered Sheldon claiming to have any clue about what makes a good relationship would have bugged me enough to go there.
  19. I liked the "bazooka" line. I think Penny was being sarcastic. I think she knows all too well that the word is "bazinga". I thought this episode was better than last week but still not very good. My favorite line was "it's better than hot, it's binding" MB's delivery gave me one of the few laughs of the episode.
  20. I was disappointed.I wanted to reach through the screen and slap Cam for being so unbelievably needy and embarrassing. I thought the Dunphy story line was ridiculous given that I'm pretty sure Claire was an uptight nag long before Alex came along. There's no way any home that Claire lives in would be all sunshine and roses. Gloria and Jay's storyline wasn't as bad. I laughed at the iPad chats and when Gloria changed from frumpy to glamorous in a few seconds.
  21. I remember that! I had totally forgotten about Susan. Thanks for the memory jog! Eileen was so awesome in that role! I hope they show a clip of it on RHBH.
  22. I would prefer a Rodman/Joe finale, but I suspect it will be Rodman and Lachlan. I think Joe is losing steam, partly because of that 3 round elimination a few weeks ago. I think he peaked too early in the competition. I think a lot will depend on how Joe and Lachlan perform this week. Nikki is a nonfactor for me, but the judges may feel differently. Personally, I think Joe and Rodman would be even funnier than Rodman and Lachlan in a sitcom!
  23. “It’s Cameron’s turn to be out in the world, interacting with other adults. While I get to stay at home and plot the death of Dora the Explorer…. Fill her backpack with bricks and throw her into Candy Cane river.” – Mitchell "Leave it to the gays to raise the only underachieving Asian in America"-Mitchell "You have your fans, I have mine. One day, your fans will be working for my fans" -Alex to Haley
