  1. Alexis has lighter colored hair than the other two girls. Hannah looks the oldest, and Leah is the smallest and has a less round face than Hannah. Except for Aiden's glasses, I have a harder time telling the boys apart.
  2. This is wishful thinking on my part, but the lawsuit against Brandi got me thinking. I wish Eileen and Kyle could get restraining orders against Brandi for assaulting them. (Kyle's case would be weaker, obviously, since she put her hands on Brandi first.) Then Brandi couldn't film with them or attend the same get-togethers so that would give the producers a reason to get rid of her. I'm sure there are things in their contracts that prevent stuff like this, or that the incidents weren't serious enough to be issued restraining orders. Like I said, wishful thinking...
  3. That probably explains Abby's comment to Holly about getting another lawyer.
  4. Wasn't Maddie and Mackenzie's Aunt Renee the one rumored to have caused a lot of the drama and problems on the lifetime DM forum that caused it to get shut down? I'm embarassed to admit it, but I used to lurk over there occasionally.
  5. I have trouble completely believing Yo about the Lyme disease because of other times she has exaggerated- like comments she has made about David's or Gigi's careers. I do believe she has it, but I agree with whoever said up thread that a lot of her symptoms may be the beginning of menopause. Maybe it is easier for Yo to blame her symptoms on Lyme disease than to admit, even to herself, she is getting older.
  6. Breezy, I so agree with your entire post but can relate to the above quote. Several family members accused my oldest son of being lazy when he was in HS. He was a mediocre disinterested student and didn't have any activities he was really into. (No drug issues or whatever Max's issues are though). Then he managed to snag an amazing internship. (Boy Meets World fans-think of Eric Matthews and the tv internship). He loved it and worked his butt off. After graduation, he was the only intern promoted to a payed position. Now he is a full time (still mediocre and slightly less disinterested) college student and works incredibly hard 20-30 hours a week at a job he loves. If things continue to go well, they have hinted at a full time position after college. Several people have now commented that he has found his passion. I hope Max finds his as well.
  7. We had this problem in jr high, except it was binoculars and it was girls spying on my son. Whenever he stepped into our backyard, you'd hear a lot of yelling at the end of the street and then a bunch of girls in bikinis would show up.Eta: he was still young enough to be annoyed by it.
  8. I knew someone whose teen had serious drug and behavioral issues and she sent him to a nature/wilderness rehab boarding program in Idaho, so if his issues were severe enough, maybe Lisa and Ken sent Max to a similar program. That is speculation on my part but it's the first thing I thought of when Lisa said Idaho. My friend's son was there for 2 years and it was the hardest thing she ever did but it changed his life. I don't think they were even allowed to visit him for the first 6 months.
  9. Regarding Kyle's comment: I think she just meant that Alexia could transfer to a college closer to home the way Farrah did. Quite a few of my friend's kids ended up doing that. I guess they were not as ready to be far from home as they thought they were. Many transferred to community colleges, which gave them a little more time to mature before going away again. I'm not sure the BH parents would be okay with community college, but I think Kyle would be happy if Alexia transferred to a 4 year school closer to home. Maybe Kyle is even hoping for that, or maybe she just wanted Alexia to know it was an option.
  10. Isn't Max's girlfriend much older than Max? And her name is Allison? I know it is improbable, but how awesome would it be if he was dating Allison DuBois? I would give anything to see that storyline!
  11. I agree with this and, unfortunately, I have firsthand experience. I read a book a few years ago called "Stop Walking on Eggshells" to help me deal with my sister. I remember a section that talks about intense fear of abandonment that really fits Brandi's treatment of Lisa, like begging for her friendship yet attacking and threatening her. I know we shouldn't diagnose a person based on what we see on a tv show, but it's hard because I do see so many of the traits in Brandi. I think her off screen behavior fits as well. With my sister, I think being attractive made things worse because she gets more attention, plus people (especially guys) are more willing to put up with her or excuse her behavior. Borderlines can be incredibly charming and manipulative. Therapy is a start, as long as Brandi doesn't quit as soon as the therapist says something she doesn't like.
  12. I liked it better when the title of this thread was "Winning and Dining". 'Winning' reminds me of Charlie Sheen, and Brandi is crazy and self-destructive and obsessed with sex- kind of like a female version of Charlie Sheen. Edited for clarity
  13. On Celebrity Apprentice, Brandi threw a pie in someone's (Kenya? I wasn't really paying attention) face. I wonder if she liked the reaction she got and it morphed into throwing drinks in people's faces? Hopefully she realizes that she isn't getting a good reaction now and drops it as her go-to move. 2 small things I found funny: Lisa R barking like a seal at Eileen at the first dinner, and Yolanda and Kyle clutching their pearls over the thrown drink when Yo told Kyle about it. You know if Brandi had thrown it at Lisa V, they would have been cackling with glee like evil witches. As awful as Brandi's behavior was at Yo's house, I doubt it was any different than usual. I wonder why everyone seems to suddenly be embarrassed by it. Is it because of Lisa R and Eileen? Or was it Babyface? I thought he actually handled The situation well.
  14. I think this description sums up Brandi perfectly!
  15. I think that she is an interesting combination of observant and flaky. She's kind of dramatic and over the top but (so far) in a funny way. She kind of reminds me of Kim, or how Kim might have been if she wasn't such a mess.
  16. What gets me is that Brandi didn't like Lisa treating her like a child (mothering her) but doesn't mind Yolanda comparing her to a dog. It seems to me that Yolanda 'mothers' Brandi as much as much as Lisa did, if not more, and Brandi has no problem with it so that issue is total bs to me. I think Brandi saw a better opportunity with Yolanda-she could get more out of Yolanda-so she switched alliances. I've always thought that Yolanda's main issue with Lisa is Lisa's close friendship with Mohamed and Yolanda jumped at the chance to go after Lisa once she (Yolanda) teamed up with Brandi. Eta: not that I think Lisa is without flaws.
  17. Plus, when Brandi said about Lisa "we love her but..", Yo chimed in with something like "love is a strong word", another sign that they are not great friends so why would Lisa invite her anywhere? Yo really is like a dog with a bone when she feels like someone has slighted her socially.
  18. This episode could be summed up In 3 words: Too much Brandi
  19. I hope Lisa's response to Brandi is a very cool "thank you, daahhling, but I have a husband" and then she just walks away dismissively.
  20. Like a friend of mine used to say, and Yolanda will eventually realize-You can't polish turd.
  21. Plus the closest Lisa's girls have probably ever gotten to a chubby person in BH/LA is Kyle, (who is probably chubby by BH standards, definitely not by mine) I thought their comments were reflective of their sheltered BH upbringing and maybe even their mom's attitude, rather than meant to be mean.
  22. I get Lisa's sense of humor but a lot of times I think it's forced like she is trying way too hard to play up the British humor. I thought Eileen's "renovated vagina" line was funnier and more sarcastic than anything Lisa has said in a long time. I don't think Lisa needs to forgive Brandi. Brandi doesn't want to be forgiven. She just wants to win. Plus, the longer Lisa goes without forgiving Brandi, the more Brandi is able to twist things and play the victim. It becomes all about Lisa holding a grudge against poor Brandi instead of about what Brandi did to Lisa. Brandi did the same thing to Adrienne. She used the bogus lawsuit to play the victim and deflect from the fact that she revealed a deeply personal secret about Adrienne's kids. Brandi knows exactly what she is doing by chasing Lisa around supposedly trying to mend the friendship.
  23. Eileen will forever be my favorite housewife just for the line, "nice to meet you and your newly renovated vagina." I laughed at Brandi, as soon as Lisa left the party, boldly declaring that she wouldn't kiss Lisa's ass when she had spent the entire party doing just that. I thought that Lisa R said that she brings the girls to Oregon once a year but comes down more often herself. The girls did not seem like they had been there before though.
  24. Does anyone watch The Middle? When they were showing Brandi's podcast, I kept thinking about Brick's 'fontcast' which had only 1 listener (which turned out to be Jimmy Kimmel). I kept waiting for Brandi to mention that she needed to keep it going for her 'fan'. I might be wrong, but I can't imagine she has too many listeners left. (unless they are maybe in men's prisons?)
