  1. We haven't seen the doctor having any illicit income (yet), so for the time being I'm ok taking it at face value that he paid for everything above board. The show's been fair enough so far not to be hiding that. They did show him in the nazi uniform, so maybe he's a doctor to high ranking nazis in the region or something, but I think they would show that at some point. If you were around during the Covert Affairs days, we were having a field day about her lack of convincing in many aspects of that role too.

I was impressed at the end Pippen did have nice words to say about Krause.

I had no idea Pippen had the back problems in the last game either. I'm way more impressed than the flu game or whatever.

I have no memory of this either. I wasn't watching tv regularly at the time just because I was in college with a lot of roommates. I'm surprised he didn't say anything like he did when he wanted the 48 hours off. In fact, I think I was in line at a bar when I saw Jordan strip Malone, so I didn't even watch that game at all.

Overtime in Jazz II and neither team can crack 90! It kills me. And then 54!
  6. Magda seems to be targeting weak willed men. I can roll with the doctor probably being afraid to call the police or seeing himself as some sort of 'brave protector' swooping in to save her. Even if he did want to call the cops, I'm sure she could have played the 'no one would believe me' well enough to get him to back down. I'm wondering if because Tiago was 'touched' that he'd be actually able to 'see' her in some way. I know he saw her as the gangster when they busted into the room, but he was clearly thrown by Mateo being there, so it might not have registered. Or I'm thinking he'd see her from there and then maybe see the councilman's aide and somehow know that she was the same person or something was going on.
  7. I barely remember Fraiser and Lillith.

I'm not sure they need to play all the regular season games anyway. They already had a 50 game season that worked fine.
  9. That was a brilliant line and delivery. There's certainly plenty to laugh at, but the whole Diane overanalyzes things, picks a fight, etc., is dragging. It's also not fair to either of the characters.
  10. I don't know if the reindeer can live in the tropics. You'll have to ride dolphins.
  11. I'm in the middle of season 2 and it's getting exhausting when the show focuses solely on Sam&Diane. There's so many great characters that were essentially fully formed from the jump and they're all pushed aside. Diane gets Sam tickets to a Hagler fight, then picks a fight with him about their relationship. It's just you need to let things go once and while. Although, I have to say, Shelley Long is a great actor. Her playing Diane drunk was seriously funny. I was wondering if her calling Sam "Yes, sir," was written or her choice. The show has some great quick sight gags though, and the actors' reaction shots are just hilarious.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/michael-jordan-dream-team-isiah-thomas-audio/asgq66i6eu6i15k4pzez093nx
  13. I think it would have been knocked as a Five-0 rip off they did use Hawaii. If you follow the Facebook page, they do a live interview after the show airs on the east coast. Also, I was glad I guess right about the episode taking some elements from Die Hard!
  14. I think that is the answer. He's obsessed with her and was totally out of sorts during the board game.
  15. I'm going to guess it's probably moving or moved to the streaming site.

  17. This made an otherwise interesting episode of moving the chess pieces around by Natalie Dormer fall flat, i.e., characters not asking obvious questions for plot; characters not saying their motivations when it's a clearly obvious situation. "What he did to nuestra hermana! I'd do it again." Ok, then maybe Tiago tells him to run because he hears Nathan Lane coming or something. But come on. That was weak af.
  18. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It seems wasteful for Natalie Dormer in bi-demon form to reel in Mateo just to have him thrown away. I'm sure she was fixing to have him off someone to deepen the racial divide and likely didn't plan on the cop molesting his sister. I can't see her hanging him out. Tiago going to be massive ptsd with having to pulls guns on his brothers all the time.
  19. I'm not sure why Magda would want to get to Mateo unless she had longer term play, if we are assuming she has special interest in the family. Does Raul know the brother shot him? He's unusually chill about the whole deal. I like how Nathan Lane knows damn well Tiago is up to something. I loved the scene with Nathan Lane and the mother.
  20. In another episode, I was asking about Rico at the club when they did the big dance number.
