  1. I'm stealing this. I think there's more going on in the actual case. She was all, 'oh, so I slept with him and now you think I killed him.' It is a murder investigation, and you lied to the police. They're likely going to want to follow up. It was a little too over the top even for a someone who is a drama queen.
  2. I'm looking, but haven't seen any more. I was wondering if his place here indicates that this is the same universe. No sweater carryover either. Yet. I think it underscores how dire the nazi threat that Nathan Lane is going to organized crime for help. I mean, we know they're a threat, but it's a good way for the show to place that within the show. Also Nathan Lane saying 'FUCKING RIGHT I AM' to the mob boss too. I get the times and all, but the overly racist cop takes me out of the show. It's just so over the top. I mean I get it, conceptually, but even with a show about a demon, I'm finding my suspension of disbelief strained. So basically he's just a plot point.

Reggie Miller has a portrait of himself in his attic.
  4. May he be called this from now on. (I still don't remember his name). That's not a fair game. Who could? To be fair, she is doing a good job. So it's looking like this murder case is unraveling a whole lot more. Molly's little rant was a bit much for me to think she's not playing a role whining to Tiago.
  5. That's the key concept - earned. Also - playing fair with the audience. The fact you needed a dead body to get to the island doesn't need an explanation. It was a dramatic moment when we found out who got killed and who did it. Outlander can pull that bs and it grates. Yet you look at Doctor Who - forget about a modicum of continuity. But anything that happens is earned and they play fair. tbh I think showrunners can be their own worst enemy. Know the show you have and tell the right story for the show. You'll have fans. Also, you don't have to get on social media and talk about everything about everything and constantly tell fans how they should feel and what they just watched.
  6. Thinkgineer. Rudy is on a higher level of thinking than a mere thinkaneer. I'm not even going to capitalize it. I don't like Jimmy Pesto, but I don't think I'd trust Jimmy Jr to go pick up the medicine, and they may have required an adult signature for it anyway.
  7. I had said before that it still could have been pitched as a magnetic anomaly like the Bermuda triangle on a bigger scale. I think that's really all you needed. The numbers could have been something as simple as frequencies that make the island fluctuate regularly or something.
  8. Let's do an episode about the tattoo. Get me Bai Ling. LOTR as we know it as three short books is a very thin slice of the lore. There was an explanation for everything. I mean, the guy literally invented a language.
  9. I'm surprised Zeke was bored. He makes everything fun.
  10. I liked the call back to Brian's awful book. And Stewie using dog things to trick Brian.
  11. I didn't like the episode where Tina went nuts about the mentoring, but I liked the callback. Do you not recall his joke about the fishes? Rudy is irreplaceable.
  12. Is it a UO that a game show about tag sounds fucking stupid?
  13. You'd think it would be a point of interest.
  14. STOP PUTTING THE FUCKING HAT ON THE DOG MARGE. Fucking fuck that ruined the entire show.

I don't think anyone can argue Payton is one of the great defenders of all time. I think if he guarded Jordan the whole time, Jordan would have figured him out. That's why it's a 7 game series. Also - Payton is misguided if he thinks out-defended would have won a title. You need to make shots down the stretch. Even in that era, you're not hoisting banners scoring in the mid 70s.

I can get Jordan being pissed that the new players were acting like they owned a piece of the Bulls, especially after losing in the conference semis. I never knew Kerr swung first. And good for Jordan for taking it on to apologize (without like having to be told). I'm still surprised that's the only time something like that happened. I loved the choice of the BDP song to open the 72 win segment. Knock off with all the 'war' bullshit though.

I'm still amazed that the Bulls are winning playoff games in the low 80s. I cannot *imagine* why Armstrong would talk trash to Jordan after hitting the game winner. The whole Smith story just underscores how exhausting it must have been to be on Bulls.
  18. I'd even say they probably would have done 10-12 episode seasons to make it tighter. I also wonder if they ever had a show bible or continuity editor.
  19. I don't know. You haven't seen my apples.
  20. I don't know what that is but I will let you know when I do.
  21. I just found out this was on Netflix. I was a little too young when it first aired so these are all new to me. One thing I noticed is the actors genuinely laugh a lot at the jokes. Shelley Long looked like she was going to piss herself when the friend was reciting the awful Russian poem. There is a lot more physical comedy than I would have thought too.
  22. That's for the farmers market. It's not open yet.
  23. I do think you can plop them on the island and have a character driven show. Jin and Sun were a good example of what you could do with that. I didn't really have a problem with the hatch or the numbers. You have to know the show you have and some concept of where you want to go.
  24. I think the point was to not even bother. Like the lady whose cancer went away or why Locke could walk. Just leave it. Even the time travel or having to enter the numbers. The island is some lode stone that causes magnetic anomalies like some cracked out Bermuda triangle. That's really all you need. You can still have dharma. They insisted on not only throwing in all these details and then braying to the media that everything would add up. Fans took them on good faith. It doesn't matter what show you have, you have to play fair with the audience. This just happened on outlander and it just bugs.
