  1. Benson was a straight up bitch when she talked to the new girl in the restroom and told her to invest in a new blazer. The girl is a low on the ladder cop. Maybe she didn't come from money like Benson.
  2. They used to have great chemistry. Last night, there was a rerun of the episode when Jay found out that Hailey was sleeping with Adam. They were so good together in that episode, especially the scene where Hailey confessed to Jay and he said they would always be good. The show wasted a good dynamic by throwing them into a marriage so quickly. This is probably right and really depressing. The only thing worse that abuse victim/ pissy Upton will be widow Upton.
  3. GIven how flat and robotic his performance was last night, my guess is that he wanted to leave the show. I think it's really sad that he and Tracy Spiradakos did not have a better final scene. I don't know if it's the writing or the direction, but the scene lacked any emotional punch.
  4. I agree. Her acting in the scene was heartbreaking. She should get better storylines or leave for a show that uses her talents better. There are way too many mundane plots on this show about things like petty office fights, furniture, and ambulance maintenance. It has to get boring for the actors.
  5. It was really odd. He just unilaterally made the decision to go to Bosnia and announced it without discussing it with Hailey. He wants to get away from her so badly that he waited until everything was booked! He knows she has rage issues. That last scene of Jay and Hailey was so strange and lacking in emotion. DId they even kiss? WTF. At least his true love, Voight, showed up at the airport. It would have been great if they ran into each other's arms.
  6. Goodbye to Violet's boyfriend. I don't like Violet much, but he was a nice character. I agree that Stella's story about the office waa stupid. You cannot just put a dryer anywhere because you need a place for the vent hose ( unless you want it to catch on fire). Stella and Kelly have fallen into the trap of nothing interesting happening for married characters. Who cares if her office is a few inches smaller?
  7. This is very sad, if true. https://pagesix.com/2022/10/04/tom-brady-gisele-bundchen-hire-divorce-lawyers-sources-say/
  8. The constant Hailey talking heads made me very uncomfortable. She seems like an awkward girl who is used to being passed over by the guys. The thing about her is that she's not unattractive. But the odd facial expressions and mouth contortions, coupled with her insecurity, make her so unattractive. She's basically there to be the weird girl who can't get a date. It is painful to watch if you've ever been friends with that type of person.
  9. I still don't get what this show is going for. It swings back and forth in tone so much. My questions for this episode: 1) How the hell did Wesley get hired at the DA's office after several years of representing people who were in organized crime? They apparently don't do background checks or ask about past work. We'll also handwave the fact that they don't have ethical concerns about Wesley, despite his prior suspension from the practice of law. 2) How did Nyla deliver a baby on her own and cut the cord and clean up the baby? What an idiotic portrayal of childbirth. I don't like birth scenes, but that was stupid beyond belief. 3) How are a bunch of hardened criminals living right across the street from Nyla's very well appointed home that appears to cost at least 3-4 million? 4) Does Lucy ever do any actual cop work? All I see is her picking special assignments for herself in undercover and as Tim's assistant. Someone needs to tell her to sit her ass down and write some accident and arrest reports. The more they show Tim and Lucy, the less I like it. I think they have okay chemistry, but it stopped being sexy to me after Lucy had to keep grabbing him to get him to kiss her.
  10. JJ Watt is one of my favorite players from his days on the Texans. I find it alarming that he is playing in the same week that he had this procedure. I hope everything is okay and that he isn't being pressured. He does not have anything to prove at this point.
  11. This Wendy's commercial with Reggie Bush getting the Wendy's pretzel burger back is perfect. My favorite part is when he strikes the Heisman pose and says, "Y'all can't take this one away from me." Kudos to Bush for being able to make something funny about having to give back the Heisman Trophy.
  12. After watching tonight's show, I wonder how he made it this long. The stories and production have really taken a dive since season 7. Whereas they used to have action tightly interlaced with the team interrogating and working the crime, now a lot of the scenes are conversations between the cops that seem mostly like pointless filler. It is hard as a viewer to maintain interest, so I can only imagine what it's like for an actor. I was really disturbed by the scene of the little girl dying. It should not have taken something so extreme for Kim to realize how much Adam cares about her and Makayla.
  13. This show appears to me to have gotten a complete style makeover. The office is kind of shiny and space age-looking compared to that old trailer or whatever they had before. The female actors are all wearing fancier clothes and more glamorous hair and makeup. It is really noticeable with Keshia Castle-Hughes, who used to be styled in jeans and sweaters in every episode.
  14. There are two big problems for me. If Rosalind was going to change into street clothes, would they not have instructed her lawyer to bring the clothes to jail so she could change there? I find it hard to believe that the security would be so lax. Also, why would Chris need an Uber from the courthouse? I find it hard to believe that he does not have a car in a city that requires so much driving. Would LAPD let two officers get on an airplane controlled by criminals? That was really dumb to me. Why didn't Lucy close the door when she was taking a shower? She might as well have just walked around the room naked. I think that Lucy and Tim are assholes for even considering cheating on their significant others. They have never once shown them thinking about the impact of their "undercover" romance on their actual relationships.
  15. Sounds like maybe there was conflict about political views, but she's so vague that it''s hard to say. The jeans and jacket outfit in that picture is atrocious! It looks a size too small for her, and I don't think bare midriff and jackets go together.
  16. On Friday, Nadal and Federer will play a doubles match together at the Laver Cup. https://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/id/34641049/roger-federer-play-doubles-rafael-nadal-final-competitive-match
  17. i don't understand why Sylvie's ex-fiance woukd come to see her when he is engaged to someone else. I realize that it moved the Sylvie/ Casey breakup along, but it did not make sense. It would have been more believable if she randomly ran into him and found out he was getting married. They should have had Sylvie and Matt break up last season at the wedding so we could see the actual scene. I thought the new guy at 51 was going to end up being an ex of Stella's.
  18. Is it this one - "Good Time" by Anthony Ramos? "I'm here to have a good TIIIIME," seems to be the refrain.
  19. The Jay and Hailey relationship started as a nice friendship, and they had good chemistry. I started getting skeptical about it when Hailey slept with Adam while poor idiot Jay sat there and pined for her. However, the show explained that away as a short term deal that Hailey recognized was not good for her. I thought it was cool when Jay made Hailey jealous by banging the drug dealing bartender. Hailey deserved a taste of her own medicine. This relationship has not been interesting since they got together. They don't ever show them as a couple any more. Also, Hailey still seems pissy and/or mean most of the time. If being with a guy like Jay isn't going to make her happy, what will? I'm sick of her constant crisis mode and sour face.
  20. I love SEC shorts. I graduated from Penn State and the guy's t-shirt cracks me up. This really is every Penn State fan.
  21. Yes, he's in a commercial with the "Lilly" character. She is telling Lebron about the new IPhone, and they are passing a brochure back and forth. The commercial is stylistically very different from all of the other commercials that show Lilly behind the counter at the AT&T store. Lilly is wearing a blue blazer instead of her usual blue button down shirt, and she has short hair and more glamorous makeup. I've never really liked the Lilly AT&T commercials, and this seems like it is more the actress with Lebron than the character. The commercials stopped being funny a long time ago. Lilly can go away anytime as far as I'm concerned.
  22. This is an interesting point. They certainly watched the show and are aware that their engagements would likely be short-lived. However, they want that one beautiful moment when their guy proposes on camera and the attention of the media tour that goes with it. The way the show stages the finale is more beautiful than most weddings. Then, even if it fails, they are still talked about, can still say that they were "engaged," and can play up the broken heart angle. It's kind of fucked up.
  23. Yes. It is all about showing off that Neil Lane rock on social media and on Us Weekly. But getting engaged to the wrong person in front of a TV audience is embarrassing as hell. They should talk to Rebecca about how it feels when you get engaged on this show and your guy makes a fool of you. I still cringe when I remember her yelling, "Rebecca Luyendyk!" after the proposal. Ugh.
  24. I am not sure either. She is very sensitive and seems like me to be the type who would have emotional burnout from nursing. If she worked in a surgical ICU, a lot of the patients are passed out asleep, and there are minimal visits. Maybe that would be less stressful for such an emotional person.
  25. This just looks ridiculous. There is an age limit for new agents. This character would never be accepted into the FBI. It would have been more realistic if NIecy Nash played an analyst instead of an agent. How much credibility would a sassy FBI agent have? Zero, because the FBI is a deadly serious organization. I give it 5 episodes.
