Is a single house going to look at all different from a) the other compeition in this years series b) the competition in previous years' series'? If not, why should I watch? The "personalities" definitely aren't enough imo.

The kitchen and bathroom needed more colour. Green/gold vanity or bottom cupboards maybe. Something.

Going to rewatch the film Grosse Pointe Blank to celebrate that nice couple and their new house.

That's why I can't stand this programme. Every house turns out pretty much the same, no matter what type it was to begin with.

The problem I have is that if she hadn't said something like that she'd be getting even more beat up for being a cold, uncaring mother. Just because a mother will miss her children doesn't mean she shouldn't do what is best for her career and life. If it was Jesse James it's his shtick because on his name, or the name he uses.

Two non sarcastic questions: would anyone have blinked is she had been the father of those children? Or if her beliefs had been a mainstream religion?

Oi! I've been and been around many a 14-year-old girl and that comment is a bit insulting. They seem to be acting more like the men they are. Take away from that what you want about how many men act vs how people accuse 14-year-old girls of acting....

I don't have any problems with the Mexican buyer not taking 3 of her kids with her. They're with their dad, perfectly fine. I do wonder who is going to be sleeping in the "angry" room though, and if they'll actually feel anything.

"Best" layout is very subjective. I personally HATE open concept, with flames-on-the-side-of-my-face hatred. And I don't like white/grey automatically either. I don't think most people know what they mean when they say "modern".

What about all these people who claim to love "entertaining"? Based on HGTV it seems like that's about 95% of the United States.

I remember soooooo wanting someone to do a slightly bitter spin-off about the REST of Stars Hollow. Episodes focusing on how much the rest of the village hates Lorelai and her ilk lol.

Seemed like the smart thing to do. Much better than people who get a whim and then complain no one speaks English and nothing is like America... She probably would have moved there earlier had she been able financially and emotionally.

I think open concept has forced people to want/need other spaces for specific things. No longer can the dining room act as an office if needed, or the living room a private guest space.

No idea about Armie, but a lot of trust funds come to kids in stages. A sum at 18, or at 25, another later, or on marriage, etc etc etc.

One of my earliest memories is watching an alien standing in front of a mirror peel off their human face to reveal snake below in some part of V. Luckily I was the kind of child who knew the difference between fantasy and real world so there was no lasting trauma. Edit Update: I actually managed to find that scene and rewatch it just now, nearly 40 years later. It is exactly as I remembered. Weird. Will update if this time finally does manage to traumatise me.

No doubt she got that stove either free or at quite a discount. Aside from the wonderful wallpaper in the bathroom everything was quite blah. The way they talked about her style at the beginning I was expecting a lot more.
