  1. There has got to be more to that German divorce than a move... Otherwise she's lucky to be shot of him.
  2. Just rewatched the Maine foster parents, and I can't understand why people are worried. The only mentions of help were the kids helping at meal time, and learning how to make themselves a dish or two. That sounds like good parenting to me.
  3. Who says they are really happy? Anybody can fake it for 10 minutes while on camera.
  4. I totally missed those comments. Any idea when they said that so I can go back and re-watch?
  5. Her autobiography was fantastic. I read it as a girl and later as an adult, and it held up quite well.
  6. Charlotte couple had a son, the youngest child. And even if they didn't it's wrong to me to put pressure on the girls to act a certain way, especially as it's only because society has forced it upon them.
  7. I am soooooo sick of parents expecting their daughters, and daughters only, to go to prom and pose on the stairs, or be required to love pink. Have a little imagination parents!
  8. I liked the gold sink in with the black worktop.
  9. If you are breaking the law and discriminating against people who have disabilities you sort of deserve to be out of business.
  10. There is something seriously wrong with a professional chef who doesn't like to feed people.
  11. I watched Aberdeen as far as her saying she was a designer and that horrible house they were in was designed by her. I didn't need to see another hunter with absolutely no style.
  12. Unfortunately, women still feel the need to fall back on sex to sell. Even sadder is that they probably have to. The whole situation makes me want to hit someone ad scream.
  13. I'm not sure they're the kind that can feel remorse. They seem more likely to shout witch hunt for the rest of their lives.
  14. I can understand why the owners of the houses wouldn't want to show off their bedrooms and bathrooms if they're not being renovated. And what would be the point? The programme is about the renovations Erin and Ben do, not the houses of Laurel Miss.
  15. Since they see so many houses that look nearly exactly alike, I don't mind the chit chat. Now if they started seeing interesting places....
  16. What's the point of saying it if you don't show it? Seems extra fake and hugely hypocritical of her.
  17. Because she had a full time job to work at, and a small, hopefully busy store is not a place to do it in.
  18. Hubby wondered if they could afford a bigger place if Spain guy spent less on hair products.
  19. I have no problem with that. There are a lot of people out there with design degrees who I wouldn't let near my sons' doll house (and he's not even particular!).
  20. Of course he should. The original question was why he might have been so stuck on having privacy. I gave a possible reason.
  21. Life is more complicated than one person's experience though. You don't say if your son graduated from university, has debts from that, where you live, how much his home was, what your family background is etc etc etc.
  22. I didn't get that impression at all. She's 21-22 years old, a university grad and working. She's paying rent. Sounds like she and her parents are doing a lot right.
  23. I thought I'd felt an odd tug...... I won't go into where. ;)
  24. Why? Most of it is just the usual stuff people take out when renovating a house. Nothing particularly onerous or out there.
  25. I didn't the Charlotte hunter was that bad at all. It's a different economic world out there. Sadly too many children have to sacrifice learning and growing to make money. That's how we end up with a money first, me second, people and empathy a diiiissstant fifth. At least.
