Adam Cartwright went wherever the writers needed him to go for the episode. He was in St. Louis, later Paris, later he got on a ship in San Francisco to sail to the Hawaii and the South Seas. After season 7 he was rarely mentioned. As for Jamie, I think it would have been cool to have Hoss adopt him. Hoss needed his own family.

Cast in Other Roles: Who were you in a past life?
MaryMitch replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Ghosts (US)
I re-watched 2009's "The Lovely Bones" and realized that Rose McIver (Sam) plays the older sister, Lindsey. Funny; she's from New Zealand, her "sister" Saoirse Ronan spent most of her life in Ireland (though born in the Bronx), and her "mother" Rachel Weisz is from London, but they played an American family (Rachel did have a British accent in the movie). If anyone's interested: the movie got mixed reviews, but it's one of my favorites. -

Pictures of Julia Butters at the premier of "The Gray Man" - she is growing up! https://www.justjaredjr.com/2022/07/14/julia-butters-cameron-crovetti-premiere-new-netflix-film-the-gray-man/ -
He reminds me of Jeffrey Hunter, who played the original Christopher Pike in the pilot for TOS. So that was a bit distracting. I hadn't seen "Balance Of Terror" in many years and didn't immediately recognize what was going on. I finally caught on, and the episode made a lot more sense. I went back and watched the original and I liked how they merged that episode into this one.

Dolly Parton donates $1 million to support pediatric infectious disease research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/culture/story/dolly-parton-donates-million-pediatric-infectious-disease-research-85413104 -
Even though I know John Dean is still alive, I feared for his life in that room with Liddy. That guy was a psycho! I was not aware that Martha had died so soon after Watergate. I wonder if that "Martha was right" flower arrangement is historical. Kinda ugly, but spot on. I enjoyed the series more than I thought I would. Except for Liddy, he was just TOO creepy. (The actor did a great job!)

Princeton has a really low acceptance rate - something like 5% last year - but they have a policy that if you are admitted you will get the financial aid you need to attend. The aid is in the form of grants - not loans. Vanderbilt does this as well - my niece went there and was able to get 90% of her tuition/books/housing through a similar program. You just have to demonstrate need.

Wasted Talent: Shows That Never Lived Up To Their Potential

"B Positive" - it had so much talent in the cast! The first season had promise, but after the successful kidney transplant they went in a totally different direction and it got pretty awful. -

I've been to 26 countries, and New Zealand is the only one that I said "I want to live here!". It's a beautiful country, with many cultures - Native, European, Malaysian, Indian, Chinese - that live together in harmony. -
The Necie character has been on 4 episodes. I am also glad that Marty is getting married. I like to see characters progress. Now let's get a girl for Malcolm!

Something like the tea ceremony, even if you don't believe in the occult, can help you focus your thoughts. And matcha is vile. -

I thought the barber plot was good in theory, but I kept thinking "how can anyone be THAT bad at cutting hair?" I could do better cutting with my left hand while having an allergy attack. I wish we could have seen more of Tina's group's performance. They sounded good!

Many if not most DVD players can be hacked. The region requirement is a software setting. This allows the manufacturers to sell in any country by just changing the chip setting. (And in Australia, they must by law be sold region free - at least 10 years ago this was the case.) Just google "DVD region hack codes". I hacked a Phillips DVD player - easy peasy.

If we swap the genders - a 29 year old man having sex with a 17 year old girl - I think most of us would "blab". -
I hate the Vanessa/Riley cheating plot arc. I don't care that they're legally married, they are cheating and it's not "sweet" or "romantic", it is disgusting. That said, I enjoyed Al's date a lot more than I thought I would. Cindy may be a bit crazy, but she handled Al's "situation" just right.
