  1. I think this was my favorite episode yet. Both plot lines were unexpected and entertaining.
  2. I am having a terrible time trying to keep up with the frequent timeline changes.
  3. I think the young actresses are killing it. (But I hate Kate's glasses!)
  4. *sigh* This show is not getting better.
  5. Ed Asner (Lou Grant) and Gavin MacLeod (Murray Slaughter) are still hanging in there. But yeah, it's getting harder and harder to see them all go.
  6. I actually liked the blue - I thought it popped. But yeah, painting someone else's cabinets is way over the line, even for a mother. Especially for a mother. And the "cardinal" sin (heh, cardinal) - Louisville is a U of L town. Anyone who lives in Louisville gets physically nauseous at the sight of that Kentucky blue!
  7. Unless Jean had no idea of her own address, the concern of the kids for their grown mother getting home on her own was way over the top. Calling the police? (And the police CAME?) I live in a small town (under 50K) but even I know about Uber, Lyft, and reading a bus schedule.
  8. Hey, at least she's pronouncing "Louisville" like a native! And I like the waving!
  9. My first reaction was "oh, she's a pain in the butt", but as the show progressed she kinda grew on me. I'll give it a chance. (On a shallow note, I loved Kyra's hair!)
  10. I'm glad there aren't more cats. I don't want the show to be about cats.
  11. My favorite part was the ending when the cast all waved to the camera. 2nd favorite part was the piano duet. Does Mayim really play? She looked like she did. (Max did not.) Better than the pilot. I did not like the "I don't tip" guy.
  12. Some videos and links on Dawn Well's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/therealmaryann
  13. It looks like Lifetime is resuming airing episodes, starting with the pilot, on Tuesday 12/29 at 10:03 eastern
  14. Here's a page with a short video and then a lot of links to stories of classic TV stars we lost this year: https://metv.com/lists/in-memoriam-remembering-the-tv-stars-we-lost-in-2020
  15. I didn't get that from his answer. Maybe he doesn't think it's something that can be answered in an interview like that. If you have the time, here is a video of Vice President Biden giving a speech to military family survivors at TAPS in 2012:
  16. Charlie Pride, one of the first black country music stars, died today of COVID. He was 86. https://www.kxan.com/entertainment-news/country-music-legend-charley-pride-dies-at-86-from-covid-19-complications/ Just a month ago, he received the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
  17. Why oh why do some men think anyone wants to look at their junk?
  18. My sister just sent me this, and it is SO true of my family:
  19. If you want eggs, you need a rooster. But I think that guy just wanted a pet. Of course, this is a sitcom, so they had to have the kidnapping (chicken-napping?) part, but they should have just reported it. Seems to me that would be a noise nuisance. We would have gotten another chance to see Wayne Brady!
  20. My brother-in-law used to be that way; if he got $300 he had to spend it on something "fun". He grew up dirt poor (he actually lived in a house with a dirt floor for a while). Debt is just something that's always there. Although, it seems that a lot of "not-poor" people have that way of thinking now. I accidentally opened my neighbor's credit card bill and almost fainted before I realized it wasn't mine.
  21. I agree about Adam and Andy; that was seriously funny, and their timing was perfect. I don't think they are writing Andy out; his other sitcom was cancelled FAST. So I hope he comes back; he and Jill have great chemistry. I like Chef Rudy, and I like him together with Tammy, but I want to see more of Marjory and Wendy. I would love to see a "Wendy" episode!
  22. Well, she's a writer and can't find a job writing, so she's taking what she can. But in the last couple episodes she's expressed an interest in moving into management and even found a mentor.
  23. I about fell over laughing when Drew climbed that shelf. (He should have known better, but he was doped up. ) I didn't realize that he and Julia weren't officially divorced. I kinda hope they get back together; I like Sara Rue.
  24. Oh, yeah, they used a stuntman for both Franklin's jumps and also when Katie flew off the trampoline (well, looked like a stuntwoman for that).
