Social Media: What's Up With Her?
IndyMischa replied to ClareWalks's topic in My Big Fat Fabulous Life
I've been on her side (all things being relative) for the last couple of Insta-outfits. This thing is fucking hideous. Full stop. -
I don't remember even any conversation about getting Angela out, so I'm guessing no?

That's what I thought too. It didn't age well. 😂

All things being relative, I think this looks pretty good. (Again, this is on a Whitney scale, not one for normal people!) It's not skin tight, and doesn't doesn't show any parts that should be covered in public. For Whitney, I'm calling this one a win. -
I'm ten minutes in, and already hate myself for continuing to watch this show. Wow, closeups of June's suffering face - we've never seen THAT before. Sigh.

The giant meteor. -
She's his ex, the cop's daughter who got addicted after one ill-fated evening with a crack pipe.

I just started a rewatch today, so this utterly barren thread makes me sad. I forgot how much I loved this show until today!

... which are presumably tasteful, and not party store crapfests. (SANDY.) -
Not sure on 1. 2, the Power Tower friends are in addition to the 12 (assuming they don't make it anyway). 3, when you touch N+1.

Those bridesmaid dresses are HIDEOUS. Jesus.

I'm sure he's not sad about the camera time per se, but I think he really is that emotional. -
And make sure we knew nothing happened in those sewers, having already seen Larry fine and dandy in Boulder. #stillbitter

Yes. And that's an epic understatement.

Based on them not even mentioning her absence, I'm guessing jail or rehab. -

I think that if there were a legitimate reason for Jeremiah and his brothers to pull what they did to Gus, he would have aired it. And in the absence of that, I 100% understand why they're all Team Gus. Ymmv. -
Because she's bonkers, self centered af, and supremely convinced of her own awesomeness? Just a guess.

That is a drag queen dress, full stop. Which actually sort of explains the makeup choices.

I call this the lazy/stupid problem. I ran into a ton when I managed a retail store for the better part of a decade. Attractive + lazy/stupid + good attitude = rarely any real consequences for being useless, and always a huge amount of sputtering disbelief when someone is finally willing to provide the consequences. A good manager can train their way out of any number of problems, but you absolutely cannot train someone not to be lazy/stupid. She can choose to get her shit together, but that's an internal motivation thing, and not something you can be trained or managed to do. In other news, I literally laughed out loud when the waitress delivered the cake. If that makes me mean or tasteless, I embrace it.

I get those in my Android news feed all the time. They also sometimes use a picture of a 600 pounder when it's a story about this show. Cracks me up! It's been going on long enough that I've decided it's on purpose, and the interns who publish the stories hate her. -
The showrunners made any number of incredibly stupid decisions here, but this wasn't one of them. Unfortunately, "God wants you to go" was the book reason also.

This was by far the best (and the scariest) episode. Some of that was the focus on the one character I like and care about. Some of it was the suspense of not knowing what was going to happen. And some of it, not a small percentage, was the joy of it being over.
