  1. Now that you mention the "except Laurel" bit, I'm wondering it everyone but her will be arrested and she'll have to use her awesome lawyering skills to get them off. Honestly, they're going to end up majorly annoying The Flash viewers. Chicago Fire and Chicago PD keep doing the crossover thing, and it pisses me off. I've never seen how any of these episodes have ended because I refuse to watch Chicago PD.
  2. I'm bitter that legitimate complaints about the show made on MG's Tumblr are dismissed. No, Ray isn't a creepy stalker, he's a professional stalker who "plenty of people like." Felicity's light comment to Laurel wasn't an insult to Sara, she was just pointing out that Sara was a tortured soul. Roy isn't a waffler, there is absolutely no contradiction in the way he's being portrayed. It doesn't matter how much feedback MG receives on these issues, he'll continue to ignore the responses.
  3. Don't know if anyone is watching Granchester on PBS, but I sometimes get strong Zach Gilford vibes from the guy playing the Vicar, James Norton. I instantly took a liking to him, and now I know why. Matt Saracen!!
  4. I'm really enjoying 12 Monkeys as well. I was a bit worried about Amanda Schull since I wasn't fond of her on Suits, but she's great here. Love Aaron Stanford from his time on Nikita and Kirk Acevedo from Oz (does anyone else think that Acevedo would have made a good Ted Grant? Just me?). In last night's episode of 12 Monkeys, there was this hilarious scene involving . Amanda Schull's face was too funny...looked like she was genuinely amused by that.
  5. I was just thinking this. GG has fantastic chemistry with Jesse L. Martin, and I would be happy to watch an hour of Barry and Joe every week, to be honest. I know it's not going to happen, but I would like Barry to stay single. I don't usually check out The Flash forum, but I was over there reading today. Honestly, as far as fan response goes, I can see the same thing happening to Iris that happened with Laurel. Based on the Iris thread and this week's episode thread over there, it seems that there is already a high level of annoyance with how Iris is written, which is problematic. If it keeps going down this path, I'm just going to jump ship (by that, I mean quit the show) because I don't have it in me to go through the same shit that happened on Arrow all over again. I had to laugh at a few people over in The Flash forum who were saying that Robbie Amell is the far better actor in the Amell family. Haha, whut? He's so bland and boring that he had his lead status and best friend/possible love interest stolen by another guy on his last show. To be fair, Luke Mitchell's story was way more interesting, and he had way more chemistry with Madeleine Mantock's character (yeah, I shipped John and Astrid). I was so hoping that she would be cast as Iris on The Flash :(
  6. The fact that SA hasn't really said much encouraging about Olicity lately leads me to believe that it's going to be quite a while before that happens. He told people about the greatest Olicity moment coming in episode 9, he outright told fans in his Facebook Q&A that Felicity would be shutting Oliver down romantically, and I believe that he even hinted at the Olicity stuff in the season premiere. The fact that all he has said is that "it's always darkest before the dawn" leads me to believe that he probably hasn't filmed any meaningful Olicity scenes up to episode 18. And unless he starts mentioning the Olicity moment in episode 14 (the one that MG keeps telling people will make them smile so big or whatever), I'm assuming that MG is overexaggerating and it will be nothing.
  7. A few things that DR has said lately have made me wonder if he's intentionally throwing some shade too. With his sense of humor, it's hard to tell.
  8. Personally, I'm not at all upset by KC cancelling appearances. Maybe it turns some of her casual fans against her, and they stop watching Arrow, stop tweeting about her, stop caring if she's on the show anymore. I can't say that I really care if any of these actors do con appearances since I'll never be attending any of them, and I'm more interested in the characters they portray than the actual actors, anyways.
  9. I don't know, Tara Butters' history of shows seems to be a mixed bag. Just to name some: there's Agent Carter (well-received), Resurrection (I watched this for a time---awful), Hawaii Five-0 (eh), Dollhouse (hated it), and Reaper (enjoyed it). Obviously everyone's opinions will differ, but there's some really iffy stuff on her imdb profile.
  10. Yeah, I totally wanted to vote for Ray too (you get 2 votes), but his name wasn't there! There was once a USD poll for couple you never want to see together again, and Laurel/Oliver were winning against Jaime and Cersei Lannister. Not good.
  11. Yeah, apparently SA will be shirtless in 18 if he had the tattoo on yesterday (see his Facebook for photo). Wonder if he's fighting Ra's again, as it is their custom to remove their shirts, you know.
  12. I don't get his tactic of pissing people off so much that they just quit watching. Per Carrie Ann's post yesterday (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/7943-behind-the-mask-public-appearances-tweets-amas-other-social-media-of-the-arrow-cast/?p=819174):
  13. Well now I'm super curious about where that ridiculous reaction clip comes from and whether it's meant to be just that horrible.
  14. I went through the episode to watch a few scenes, and one thing I found annoying was the conversation between Diggle and Oliver while they were drinking at the bar. Oliver about Laurel, "She's not a soldier" and then Diggle responds, "Neither are you." Seriously, Diggle? No, Oliver was never in the military, but he was pretty much Amanda Waller's personal soldier, and he's endured some fairly awful shit (torture, waterboarding, being stabbed and shot, killing people, etc.). That piece of dialogue was idiotic.
  15. Never mind. I read the initial post wrong, but now I see what was said, and it all makes sense!
  16. The fact that BR has mentioned the stalking thing in a couple of interviews leads me to believe that it's not just a few of us on here complaining about it, so that's good. But I can't forget all of the creepy shit that he's done, and I resent the fact that a ton of Felicity's screentime is spent supporting his story, so I will never be a fan of the character. With BR basically confirming things that haven't happened on screen yet (Ray and Felicity dating), I'm starting to wonder if there's something more to KC's triangle comment. Hope not because I'll have to poke my eyes out with a stick and then stop watching forever.
  17. I saw this fabulous comment on the Pajiba review that summed up how I've started to feel about the show and these crazy ratings. It was basically "what if we're all in a bubble where we all agree with each other, but nobody else sees it?" TV By the Numbers has the finals for the 2/4/15 episode as 2.94 and 1.2. Do you happen to have a link handy for the adjusted ratings? I've been keeping track just for myself, so I want to make sure that I have correct figures.
  18. That post of SA's is all kinds of wrong, but I really hope that he's not talking about Miley Cyrus. With his new campaign for mental health awareness, I would find it completely fucked up if he's on Facebook lambasting a woman who has very publicly struggled with depression, even going so far as to call her an "emotional terrorist."
  19. I guess that Victor Garber doesn't have an impressive enough six-pack, so on the CW, he loses.
  20. I know that MG has declared that we're going to get lots of Laurel and Felicity, but does anyone remember if he specifically referenced any scenes or episode numbers? These big Laurel/Felicity scenes in the last two episodes have really damaged Felicity's character, and I'm not sure that she can take many more hits.
  21. Dramatic much? "Don't look her in the eyes, gather your things, we must leave this establishment immediately!" Not sure why he feels so threatened by this woman that he doesn't seem to personally know. Bizarre.
  22. This is very mean, I know, but I think it's all about who you know. Robbie knows Stephen, who has a relationship with Greg Berlanti. Berlanti was one of the creators of The Tomorrow People. I don't know if you saw that show, but Robbie was the lead in that, and people latched onto a secondary character there instead (sound familiar?). So I basically think that he got this gig because of his stint on The Tomorrow People. Another not-so-great actress from that show is coming to The Flash as well and I can't say that I'm happy about it.
  23. Nielsen's TV Twitter ratings are in. There were 43,000 tweets this week compared to 57,000 last week. If you're curious, here's a summary of the tweet totals (def. is tweets ascribed to a linear TV episode. Note that there are all these other Nielsen's twitter numbers like unique audience, impressions, unique authors, that are probably important but I don't want to type all that so...): Episode 1: The Calm 77,000 tweets Episode 2: Sara 44,000 tweets Episode 3: Corto Maltese 29,000 tweets Episode 4: The Magician 27,000 tweets Episode 5: The SOOFS 49,000 tweets Episode 6: Guilty 33,000 tweets Episode 7: Draw Back Your Bow 39,000 tweets Episode 8: The Bold and the Brave 64,000 tweets Episode 9: The Climb 77,000 tweets Episode 10: Left Behind 62,000 tweets Episode 11: Midnight City 41,000 tweets Episode 12: The Uprising 57,000 tweets Episode 13: Canaries 43,000 tweets
