To sum this season up, meh. The dialogue on this show is SOO bad. Nobody actually talks like these people. They need better writers, because it was just basically ten episodes of crappy filler and no plot. They also need better wardrobe people. You know, ones who won’t scour the globe in search of the biggest, poofiest sleeves in existence. What was with ramping up Kyle’s Shakespeare in the Park impromptu little performances to like a ten? This is real life, please don’t go around “acting” all the time yikes. Also yikes…Helen in the Ryan break-up scene. Was not a fan of how the actress played that at all. I can’t believe we didn’t see Bill try to get to know Isaac, or Noreen/Maddie’s kids find out that Isaac is Bill’s son. Isaac suddenly acting like Bill was some deadbeat who abandoned him was ridiculous, sigh.

Writing your sister a big check (using joint funds) without discussing it with your spouse/significant other first?? Uh uh. I would have killed Ronnie. Also, I was super distracted by the way Helen and Erik pronounced produce. PRAH duce. What the…? I’ve only ever said it the way cute fruits and veg/produce guy Jeremy said it - PRO duce. Maybe I’ve been wrong my whole life LOL.

The fight between the three women is stupid, and Helen, in particular, is majorly overreacting. It seemed obvious that Ryan had one foot out the door this entire time…he kept mentioning how happy he was traveling. Not sad to see him go, and I hope Erik doesn’t take Helen back (but I know that’s where we’re headed, meh). I don’t find Cal attractive, and there is like zero chemistry between him and Maddie. They’re just super boring. There is also no chemistry between Annie and Ty, and I have no idea what the deal is there. Ty seems to like her, but then he was weird on the first day of school, and Annie and Kyle had a nice little moment. Is Kyle’s crush on her going to be a thing again? I don’t know what the age difference is, but honestly, he’s the cuter, sweeter, more interesting brother. I’m rooting for Kyle, LOL. Bill needs to just focus on being a good dad right now. Can he be single for more than like 2 minutes? Geez! Plus, Ronnie’s sister has problems. Just stay away from her, Bill. You don’t need baby number six with lady number four, my god!!!

Yeah…this wasn’t great (and I’m pretty easy to please!). Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ acting was as expected, but I thought Richard Madden would be much better than he was (I am familiar with him but haven’t really watched anything he was in). The time and location jumps coupled with racing through plot lines was just too chaotic. Like, there were elements that could have been interesting, but the show rushed through them to tell a story that was at times predictable, while also kinda boring? WTH, both Mason and Priyanka in the Declassified thing referenced Nadia being Mason’s wife. LOL, I don’t remember that happening. I recall her leaving the ring and walking away…That was bizarre. Like I said, I’m easy to please and would have been happy watching a sexy spy series where a Scottish, amnesiac Mason Kane falls in love with his partner again, while occasionally remembering bits and pieces of their past 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think Sylvie adopting the baby is either setting up Kara Killmer's departure from the show or the return of Casey in season 12, I don't know which. From next week's preview, I could see Sylvie and Casey getting back together and raising the baby. If Jesse Spencer returns, it would allow both Kara and Jesse to work less hours/appear in fewer episodes (when one is on shift in the episode, the other could be at home with the baby). I would happily take this over losing Casey, Sylvie, and Severide yikes.

Anyone else getting the impression that Nadia had a child with Mason? In the first episode, shortly before the memory wipe, she said that she needed to tell him something. And in this episode, she got all teary-eyed when told that “the package” was “waiting for her.” Yeah, when Mason accused her of leaving (back in episode 1), and she referenced being off on a mission in Berlin, I think she was totally off having their child.

That felt like they are setting things up for Casey to return at some point (please please please 🙏🏻). I was never overly attached to him, but when he left, the show started giving the extra screen time to characters I just don’t care about. Oh man, I really hope he’s coming back.

I'm probably alone in this, but unfortunately, I'm just not feeling the relationship between Charlie and Emma. They went out a few times, hooked up a few times, and they're already in love (& Emma wants him to come to Mexico with her)? They don't know each other & neither had a moment to even process the end of their previous relationship. Like, whoa, slow down. Frankly, Charlie should have bailed the moment he was interrogated by the CIA. Eh, I'm not into it. It was nice seeing Paul Blackthorne again, though!

Kat's hair was quite long in 1814, so I guess we're going to see her trying to get to Jacob for a while (which yeah, they're probably going to have to make him a bit older next season since kids grow so fast and the little actor will look very different the next time we see him). I'm all for spending a bunch of time in 1814 in season 2 👍

Hmm, I was booooored. Cash has no chemistry with his dead brother’s widow. Also, I’m not finding any of the actors/actresses interesting. They are seriously ALL bland - just some terrible casting choices. What a letdown after how much I enjoyed The Way Home!

I think a few people predicted that Jacob jumped in after the dog. Didn’t think that was the route they would take, LOL. I’m sad that Elliott broke up with Kat. His reason didn’t really make sense to me since his young self had no clue that he ended up with Kat in the future. It was his free choice to end up with her and not something written in stone, or whatever. I was not surprised that Alice ended up mailing the letter. I thought maybe Del would be the woman in 1814 (since if the dog can time travel, I guess anyone can, LOL), so seeing Kat was a little surprising. I hope she finds Jacob, but I don’t know how they will explain that to the townspeople.

Hmm, now that I think about it, why wouldn't Kat and Alice confront young Elliott at Colton's funeral next week to tell him they caused the accident and he needs to stop them from jumping back (on whatever date that was) in the future? It doesn't seem like that's going to happen next week, since present-day Elliott only figured out they were there by reading about it in the newspaper. (Also, they were on a rural road in the middle of the night, and some witness saw them running away or running through the woods or whatever? Weird). Also, we have to get some answers next week regarding the White Witch thing from the premiere, right?

Wow, I really hate that they had Alice and Kat end up being the cause of Colton's accident (totally saw it coming, though). How will they (Kat, especially) ever get over what happened? After Kat ended up being the reason that the bike was at the fair/carnival the night Jacob disappeared, I don't understand how none of them were like "Hey, maybe we shouldn't stand in the road in the VERY spot where Colton crashes. Maybe we actually CAUSE the accident." 🤦‍♀️ Nobody is really too bothered by Kat and Alice repeatedly showing up in cold weather with wet hair, which is strange. Del mentioned that the pond completely freezes over in the winter. Is that going to be relevant sometime soon? Like Kat or Alice time travel and end up trapped under the ice at some point? (I think we only have one episode left this season)? "The pond sends you where it wants you to go" or whatever it was that Elliott said. Well, this pond is evil if it allowed Kat and Alice to show up the night that Colton died and cause his death! I think we'll end the season with a Jacob sighting or some big new clue about what happened to him.

I am also thinking that the woman crying at Colton’s funeral will turn out to be Kat. I really really hope that Kat or Alice don’t end up causing the accident that kills Colton. (The preview shows him swerving, like he’s trying to avoid something in the road). Please 🙏🏻 let this be the end of Nick and Alice. Unfortunately, it appears they may be trying to pair Alice with the guy who cooked her a meal this episode. I don’t care about Alice’s love life, and he has a girlfriend. That was a very good first kiss for Kat and Elliott, and his “WHAT?!” exclamation as she ran off was hilarious, LOL.

They really are blowing through story lines so fast! What will next season even be about? Time traveling to try and find Jacob? (Yeah, I still think he went through the pond). I find Del very disagreeable, but I thought it was completely careless of whomever to leave that Jacob flyer just sitting in a box where Del or Kat might see. Also, they shouldn't have included the photo of young Del and her husband (whose name I don't remember right now) in the slide show without speaking to Del first. Terrible. They need to just end the Alice/Nick stuff. Does she really believe that a man who is now old enough to be her father will want to reconnect with a teenager? LOL, no. Elliot is still the best. I'll take him if Kat doesn't want him!

So the Scottish guy has some sort of medical issue he’s hiding, right? The babbling girl needs to be thrown out the airlock. The actress seems cute and lovely, but I can’t stand the character. And her attempt at the accent is terrible and super distracting. What the hell was the blonde lady on about during her discussion with the grieving scarf engineer lady? The engineer was talking about it being stupid that she had to hide her relationship with her team member boyfriend, and the blonde lady was talking about the rules existing for genetic diversity/so family members would be separated. Whut? Dead boyfriend wasn’t engineer scarf lady’s brother so I don’t know what the fuck blonde lady was talking about there. That conversation made no sense to me??? If I was unable to shower for an indeterminate amount of time, I would definitely be considering cutting off all my hair. Lt. Long Curls, in particular, would have a frizzy nightmare on her hands. No way she would still have defined curls at this point LOL. I wish the actress playing Lt. Long Curls was more compelling. I think the character seems sort of interesting, but I don’t get much from the actress.

Hmm, I’m not sure I really care for the direction this show is heading. I recall Bode and Rebecca hooking up like once, but apparently she thinks they are boyfriend and girlfriend? Okay…weird. (But I am disappointed they seem to be ditching her as a possible love interest). Gabriella is so distraught by that woman dying a few episodes ago that we are just now hearing about it, and she now she has a history of panic attacks or whatever? Also weird. Manny thinks Eve is spying on him for some weird reason??? That kid running the carnival ride could lift that hatch, but somehow it was so heavy it crushed and nearly killed him? What? I’m still irritated they haven’t course corrected away from the Bode/Gabriella pairing. They’re going to wait to be together until his sentence is over, and then it will be so much sweeter (or whatever the 🤢 line was)? LOL, no.

Didn’t enjoy this episode as much as the previous ones, but ooh, next week looks good! LOL at Alice confronting Elliot in front of adults again. “I found the Polaroids.” Ha ha ha, can we make this a running gag? 🤣 Wow, what was Del’s red headed friend’s deal? She sure turned evil awful quick (and she was giving Del’s guy friend some strange looks when he showed up during dinner). Weird. I think little Jacob’s friend Danny was in an earlier episode where Kat went to visit her dad’s grave stone. That encounter was weird too (he didn’t acknowledge her when she said hi). Wonder what that all means. It’s kind of strange that Alice got involved with a guy who is her mother’s age when she traveled this episode…awkward. I wouldn’t have time for all that - I’d be too busy buying Amazon and Apple stock. Okay, so I was wondering if Kat can also time travel through the pond.

I guess Dean Devlin founded Electric Entertainment, so the app has a bunch of his stuff on there (The Outpost, Leverage, The Librarians, Almost Paradise). It looks like seasons 2 through 4 are also available to watch for free on Amazon Prime with ads (through their “freevie” service). I don’t know which is a better experience, but it looks like those may be the only two options available for free right now. Good luck!

Hmm. I watched, but I don’t know how much I actually enjoyed it, LOL. I guess I don’t understand why so much time was spent on the teens, at the expense of the adults. Like, Joe was an awesome guy. I would have liked more back story on him. Maybe we could have met his family or seen this farm he operates. Max’s and Marcus’ parents seemed cool - I would have enjoyed more of them. What happened to Cynthia’s husband? That might have been nice to know. I would have liked seeing more of Paul’s brother, etc. Georgia smothering Cynthia’s husband with a pillow was too far over the line into ridiculousness, IMO. Totally unecessary . Is this show aiming more for a teen audience? I thought there was way too much time spent on 15 year-old Ginny’s sex life. No thanks. Back to Joe. I’m torn, because Joe is in love with Georgia and wants to be with her, but I don’t know that I want that to happen! I like the importance of their teen encounter, and how that has stuck with her throughout her entire life, but I don’t want her to scam or otherwise hurt him! If they get a third season, I would like a nice love interest for Joe and more time spent on him, in general.

Welp, I did not find this satisfying. Since the show blew it with Helen by not making sure that Freema was locked in until the end, I figured we'd get a happy ending for Max and Elizabeth. Nope! He left, and there was no sign of Max, let alone Max & Elizabeth, in the future. Maybe they reconnected, maybe not, maybe Max freaking died...who knows? Me seeing Daniel Dae Kim: "Oh, I guess he was on this show at some point?" I really like the actor but do not remember him at all, for some reason. I did not need to see why everyone decided to become a doctor. That was time wasted that could have been spent showing me what future Max (& others) were up to. Casey was great, and I'll never understand why the show never utilized him more. I really enjoy Ryan Eggold and hope he gets cast in a great show ASAP.

LOL, I should not have laughed at Alice bursting into the classroom and telling Elliot "We need to talk about last night," but I did. Yikes, that didn't look good! Elliot's wonderful - He's kind, smart, a great friend to Kat, a useful confidant for Alice...and he's a cutie. When's Kat going to find out that he's been in love with her his whole life? That family heirloom book with the birth and death dates in it was an 1814 Almanac, so I take it that is when the Landrys first settled in the area. In the pilot episode, the woman in white was being chased through the forest in 1814, so was she an ancestor? I'm guessing so, but I'm interested to find out. I'm really enjoying this show and the mysteries (who was the woman in white, why was she running from those men, where did she end up when she jumped into the pond, what happened to Jacob?). So far, this is the best show I've ever watched on Hallmark.

Alright, the last Veil movie. It seemed a little cruel to make the ladies trek around in wedge heels. Lacey looked really unsteady climbing those steps! There was literally no reason for Lacey’s and Autumn’s characters to crash the Greek honeymoon. No reason except for the actresses to get a Greek vacation, LOL. It was kinda odd that the name Leo was being pronounced two different ways. Wouldn’t most people repeat it just as they’ve heard? The British guy was really familiar, and I know I’ve seen him before. Must Google that, I guess.
