  1. It might have something to do with Captain Cold, since he's being resurrected on Legends through time travel shenanigans but also making an appearance on The Flash. Or it may have something to do with Killer Frost. Maybe she re-emerges and they have to find alternate Ronnie to get Caitlin back.
  2. The Mrs. Dr. Stanley Vogel was on MeTV last week. There was a scene I don't remember seeing before when Marcia daydreams that Bobby and Cindy are her prim and proper children and Alice is her French maid. Is this like the skinny dipping scene from another episode that was cut for syndication until recently?
  3. The henchman threatened her that it would easy enough to figure out if she's an Inhuman as well after she let her brother live, so they'e consider that. I assume she doesn't eat any seafood since the entire food chain in the ocean has apparently been compromised. I imagine the seafood industry in the MCU has been decimated.
  4. I know that was some old tech in the basement, but did I see Fitz use a 5 1/4" floppy? The hell? I expected Dr. Zola to appear. I didn't see Dr. Strange, but wasn't the Darkhold supposed to tie into that somehow? If the Darkhold didn't do anything to Aida and she was just under Radcliff's control the whole time what was the deal with the brain we saw her constructing.
  5. They don't have them go negative because then they wouldn't advance to the next round. And since there's one couple per show, there's no way anyone will not advance. Which makes all the drama over being positive BS. You don't know that Aries is the ram? Kevin Spacey hasn't done anything? Wow. I am sick of the teary-eyed staring at the end. What the hell is that even about? I'm also sick of Chris getting so emotional about them. Bitch, you are not Oprah.
  6. Yeah, the special robot insurance clause was a bit much. There's clearly something "special" about Vijay. First staying in the cocoon 7 months and now being in a cocoon a second time. My guess is he'll get a new power every time he dies but if that's the case not sure if it would replace the previous one or if he'd have multiple powers. There's got to be something more after all that buildup. Looking like an extra from the Matrix is kinda cool visually but not top shelf when it comes to powers.
  7. I never loved t he song, but didn't hate it either. The theme song was far the biggest problems of this show.
  8. Reverse Flash is on Legends wreaking havoc on time so he can definitely fit in there. I doubt he'll show up on on the other shows.
  9. I've never heard of Plunder, but he sounds like he should have a saber and eyepatch. And an evil parrot sidekick that spews snarky insults perched on his shoulder. Is Caitlin the Personnel Department for Star Labs now? We haven't even figured out how she's getting paid and she's offering jobs to ex-villains.
  10. There are two famous pasty chefs on tonight's Beat Bobby Flay, and one of the judges is a kid. Even Bobby's not immune from the bake- and kid-ification of the network. I'm now firmly convinced Kermit was replaced by Cookie Monster.
  11. Have these people never been to a Krispy Kreme? "Should I have put a hole in?" I mean I know the ones you get in the store are cake instead of choux, but the basic premise is the same.... ring doughnut with ridges and a glaze.
  12. But what I want to know Amanda, is do you feel like you're a chef again? I know a lot of people didn't like last week's Quick Fire but I thought it was at least something different and it was fun watching the chefs flail a bit. This week's? Had a whole lotta Food Network stank on it. Reinvent a comfort food dish? Food Network Star. Make it vegetarian? Guy's Grocery Games. Only pick one ingredient at a time? Cutthroat Kitchen.
  13. It's not that bad. There's about 2 weeks left when jury starts. When Big Brother does a "let an eviticee return to the house" twist, the first houseguest booted is in sequester for 4 weeks.
  14. Carnie was on both Chopped and Rachel vs. Guy Celebrity Cookoff. As I recall, she was particularly annoying in the latter. She's not as awful of some of the stars that make the reality show rounds but there's just something aggravating about her. I like the choppa in lieu of limo, but the bad part is the old way they interviewed the terminated contestant in the car. Now their exit interview is done in a normal talking head interview. I know at least one of the old seasons was done in LA and the change wasn't well received. Project Runway had the same problem. I don't think NY-based reality shows translate well to the West Coast. I guess they thought with Arnold being the host it would work better but personally I still think it suffers from the change. He may not be. The show was pretty successful at one point and Trump probably got certain concessions. I wouldn't be surprised if EP credit was contractual regardless of his actual involvement in the show. That's about all I recognized too other than Layla. I could swear she's been on this show before, but like Carnie she's hit the reality show rounds really hard so I must have confused it with something else. I thought it was odd she didn't say anything in the first episode. He's trying to move up from Mr. Freeze to The Joker.
  15. Please. Until they have some playing for new teeth for their sibling, they got nuthin on Food Network. I wondered about the married hetero couple thing. I suspect a token lesbian couple with all the rest being married straights.
  16. Except it would still show a familial match...which would undoubtedly lead to him being pegged as the father only no he (and his brother) would be in trouble for defrauding the test.
  17. No, that show is no longer airing. It abruptly disappeared (there's a lot of discussion about it that forum).
  18. Bob was let go from FN last year and while Suzie is still there (or was) she was excluded from the most recent FNS--probably as to not highlight the absence of Kermit Most of what we've seen the past year appears to be the doing of his replacement who, among other things, thinks we want to see more "celebrities".
  19. I hated the helping "good people" part. Basically you have to have a sob story to get on. It's too close to that old Queen for a Day show Chopped gets accused of becoming. This show is WAY too much filler. It could easily be condensed to half an hour but of course they wouldn't give away that much money. All the hand wringing over signing the "contract" was particularly annoying. This is basically NBCs attempt at Deal or No Deal that was equally overstuffed with useless BS and wore out its welcome quickly.welcome
  20. Has there ever been a tie in the Showcase Showdown and what happens if there is?
  21. Yes! Persistence pays off kids. Goodbye crappy 2016, hello 2017!
  22. I'd buy that....she was (almost) never a suspect. No one asked if she had an alibi, suspected she planted or otherwise manipulated evidence since she found things the police couldn't or questioned how she managed to be involved in so many murders. Nope. It was just "Mrs. Fletcher is here. She has experience in murder so let's let her do her thing. The title of this thread should realty be "Death Takes a Holiday...and Has The Same Travel Agent as Jessica"
  23. Sylvia's sins were: 1) not being a "vet" 2) having a birthday during this challenge and 3) not being a shit-stirring drama queen like Katsuji. That's why she got knifed. The birthday thing alone was probably enough to get them to pick her over someone else in a (semi-) close call, but going up against someone who gives good TV was the nail in her coffin. Jim's cute, but WTF with the biscuit challenge? An embarrassment to Southern boys.
  24. January 2nd! I don't think I know half the contestants, the California locale never seemed to suit this show as well as New York and Arnold's looking a little scary these days, but I'm still looking forward to the return of this show. I wonder if "For the Love Money" will still be the theme song.
