  1. I agree that they aren't as starry-eyed as they were in the beginning, but that's probably because they are out of the honeymoon stage and have settled down into regular married life (such as it is for plygs, lol). LOL, nor me! I thought the interaction between them when Christine tried on her dress was cute. There seems to be genuine affection between them this season.
  2. Haven't seen those on regular tv, but my curiousity is piqued about Caleb - who's got the scoop on this?
  3. Oh yeah, I agree with this - I bet he usually tells her everything, even stuff between him and the other wives.
  4. I love Christine - even when she was running around the house yelling, I thought she was hilarious. Life's too short, why not be silly and have fun! I know we've all been saying it, but how do you not know a party is going on in your own family cul-de-sac? I know when the strangers down the street are having a gathering, never mind my own family next door!
  5. I think before "no fault" divorce it definitely would have been an issue, probably actionable in court. Back in the day when you had to provide a good reason to get a divorce, people had to be careful. Now though, nah...morally questionable to some, but I don't think a court would care. And if you aren't together as a couple, it's not cheating (we were on a break!).
  6. 1. I actually sort of liked Nighthorse - he wasn't evil enough to deserve a shiv. 2. I never liked Eamonn so don't care what happened to him personally. 3. Sad to see Lucien go, but he did it with flair, I'll give him that. Would've been nice to see Henry get a little romance, and also a scene or two with Walt where their friendship really came through - there seemed a bit of distance between them after their falling-out.
  7. I agree and I'm not saying she was 100% right by any means. Her behavior would give most people pause. I was just responding to the comments by some who said that pledging "till death do us part" should or would have some bearing on whether one chooses to start dating before the divorce papers are signed. If the marriage is over, it's over. But in this situation, it seemed it was too soon, because they did agree to try to work on their marriage.
  8. Irregardless is indeed a word. It is informal and controversial, but it exists and is defined.
  9. Aging, thinning, going gray - gray hair gets dry, thin, and frizzy - it loses it's luster. He's still trying to wear it in the same way as when it was blonde and thicker. I think he looks much better when he pulls it back. Just cut the hair Kody and call it a day!
  10. It was a good episode, quite a few sweet moments. Kody and Christine, Garrison coming home, the shower, that dance routine (hilarious). Biggest WTF was Meri missing Garrison's homecoming - there's something fishy about that. I'm not sure what happened there - either they deliberately kept Meri away or she deliberately kept herself away. Something's up.
  11. Paedon was also the first one out the door to hug Garrison when he got home, even before Kody or Janelle. I've got a soft spot for that kid, he seems like a sweetheart.
  12. Of course we plan on staying together! I'm sure most people who get married plan on it! But saying "till death do us part" isn't going to make it happen. History certainly proves that. I'm surprised this is such an issue for people - not all wedding ceremonies follow the same script. And whether Nell and Oliver said those words or not, they were separated. My sister's ex-husband began dating his current wife two months after she moved out, and before the divorce papers were filed.
  13. I'm pledging my love and fidelity to a man I want to make an emotional and legal commitment to. My wedding was not religious; we were married by my closest female cousin, a Justice of the Peace. In this day, saying "till death do us part"" doesn't make much sense at all, as we know that marriages fail all the time, whether such a pledge was made or not. It just seems very antiquated, as does saying one will "obey" one's husband.
  14. Lots of people don't use "till death do us part" in their wedding vows. I didn't. As for her behavior, I think it depends on the situation. If they had been separated before or had been having problems for a long time and she had finally had it, then I don't see too much of a problem. But seeing as how we don't know the whole story, plus she agreed to work on the marriage by the end of the episode, I'm thinking she was awfully quick to jump in bed with someone else. But that's just an opinion. If you are separated, you are free to do what you want, but your spouse is certainly free to take issue.
  15. I loved the way Penny said Ok-i-nawa and had that look on her face like "who knew?".
  16. Yup, 100%. Deke is a survivor. Different people have different baggage. He's a gray-area character. And I don't believe everyone has forgiven him - Daisy still looks at him like he just stepped in poop and tracked it into the house. But they have bigger fish to fry now, and if Deke has any knowledge or skill or bit of information that can help them, then he may be useful.
  17. Couldn't wait to read the comments on this one and y'all did not disappoint! Not much more I can add, except to ask why Nev and Max would subject us to this nonsense.
  18. Merline I can take or leave, but another one of MY dirty little secrets is that I like Helen too! :P
  19. Agree, I don't miss the kids at all, especially Violet, couldn't stand her. I do miss Baxter though, he was funny. I LOVE Adam!
  20. The gang's been in nearly every episode this season, this is one of the few episodes without them. They are at AA meetings all the time. I'm loving this season as much as ever and I don't miss the kids at all. I could not stand Violet; Roscoe was ok but he wasn't in it that much really. They show the meetings all the time, and the coffee shop.
  21. I don't know why, but I loves me some Josh, always have. And that jacket he wore to dinner was fabulous!
  22. Bahaha, Whistler's Mother! I'm pretty tolerant of quirky fashion choices, but that was not a good look Fabio.
  23. I get what you're saying, but im not sure...it appears they have a lot of REALLY devoted fans...like, over the top fans, based on the comments I see on the social media pictures posted here.
  24. That is too funny, I just watched the very first episode because I have not seen all of the first season and they are available On Demand. The stuff with Christine and the toaster was hilarious! I agree with pretty much all you said. I have no children and I'm not in the least bit religious, so the Browns are about as opposite from my life as you can get. I suppose if they truly believe their religious doctrine, popping out kids at "God's" will makes sense to them. But really, why anyone would put themselves in that type of situation, I will never fully understand. The MLMs, just no. And the hawking of other products on Twitter, Instagram, etc...OY. It's a strange, commercialized, social-media-ruled world we live in.
  25. Meri seems like she has a hard time articulating her feelings. I wonder if she even knows how she feels at all, or is just too afraid to say it out loud. Sometimes I just want to scream "spit it out, woman!" when she's hemming and hawing. Get to the point already. Although, I think maybe she is afraid to state her feelings, because she has often been scoffed at in the past when her feelings or reactions to something were either not taken seriously or were criticized. A lot of stuff going on there. I think Robyn is still #1. She really knows how to handle Kody. I think they probably have the most "modern" and equal relationship out of all of them.
