  1. The mocking of her speech impediment bugs me. I'm surprised it's been allowed, as this website is usually pretty strict on stuff like that.
  2. This is the biggest load of crap I think I've ever read. Exactly. Jealousy is completely normal. It is as innate and natural as any other human emotion. And I agree, my husband and I are more than happy to remain blissfully unenlightened!
  3. Nowadays, it seems everything is said publicly. Celebrities and people in the public eye announce everything on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, and all their "friends", aquaintances and anyone who's ever heard their name responds in kind. It's instant gratification and it comes across to me as very attention-seeking, on all sides. I find it very strange, for the most part.
  4. Yes, the freshness and variety are what separate a great Continental breakfast from a crappy one. I love breakfast, but I don't need a huge meal with sausages, bacon, eggs any style, pancakes, etc to be happy on vacation. Regardless of where I'm staying, if they offer fresh bagels with toppings, fresh pastries/muffins, and really good coffee, I'm happy.
  5. I'm sure she will be deleted/blocked, surprised it hasn't happened already! Guess Meri is too busy having fun to get to it yet! She does have some fans who love to gush, doesn't she?
  6. My other sister is all about Universal, she loved it. I would go there just for the Harry Potter stuff, lol.
  7. I've never had any interest in visiting Disney World, but one of my sisters loves it, as does my husband and his Mom and sister, they've all been there a few times. It just never sounded appealing to me, except for Epcot, which I think would be very cool.
  8. I'll bet that is the way it was for a long time, but I wonder about now. He most likely does not spend whole days with Meri anymore. I have a feeling Robyn's house is his "home base", and he probably spends days with Christine, and maybe some time with Janelle. I do wonder if he sleeps overnight at Janelle's anymore though.
  9. Lularoe and Disney are in an ongoing collaboration. There's a whole collection of clothing with Disney prints. So I'm guessing Mer's getting discounts, and maybe prizes for winning contests and/or being a top seller.
  10. And neither will have any legal rights, except to child support. Well-played, Dimitri!
  11. :( I've always liked Donnelly Rhodes - Jake was a great character - I still think Blanche was a dummy for ditching him.
  12. In one Valentine's Day episode, Penny was supposed to go to Switzerland with Leonard to see the CERN Large Hadron Collider - Leonard ended up taking Raj when both Penny and Sheldon got sick. I assume she remembered it from that situation.
  13. Loved this season almost as much as the first. Love Sid, Elena's girlfriend. They are great together, and so cute. They looked adorable dressed as Dr. Who and the Tardis. I'm so glad that they didn't continue past the first episode with Alex being an insufferable teenager. Glad there was a reason for his behavior, though sad that there has to be those kinds of ignorant and /or horrible people in the world. I loved Max, and he and Penelope were good together. It's too bad they had to break up. I can relate, as many years ago I was dating a man who wanted children (I have none and have never wanted any). We didn't get to the "in love" point because we were both 100% sure of our feelings on the subject, so no sense in continuing to see each other. I like that they sort of resolved the stuff with Victor. I like that Dr. Berkowitz and Lydia are resuming their friendship. I LOVE that we get to see Berto, such a handsome and charming man! Easy to see why Lydia fell for him. And speaking of Lydia, well, what else can be said about Rita Moreno? She is a national treasure! My only complaint is no Carmen - miss that wacky goth girl!
  14. That's funny because my sister and I just spent the past few days binging the whole series, and I just said to her today that Max (Ed Quinn) is way hotter than Bradley Cooper! Different strokes, lol.
  15. Ugh, I know, these "progressive" couples who want to play at being married and bring children into the world without actually getting married are annoying AF. They think it makes things easier if one of them wants to bail, but once you have kids, that's it, ya done anyway - might as well put a ring on it and take advantage of the benefits of being legally married.
  16. I respect that opinion. I feel just like the rest of the Browns when it comes to that meeting about Bonnie living there - what are you trying to say Meri? You want us to finance that house for your mother? Yeah, no. And, according to Meri herself, she's the one who put that idea in her mom's head. She certainly seemed thrilled when Meri told her she wanted to buy it, but that doesn't mean she expected to live there. I wish someone would address the question of why and how Christine's mother got ousted from this deal. She was as excited as Meri when they first went to look at it together.
  17. I'm pretty sure there were discussions about Mariah and her choice of school - if I recall correctly, Kody wasn't all that thrilled with her choice, and the costs involved.
  18. I agree. This all smells as fake as a cheap candle. How is she going to develop a real relationship with this family if she is globetrotting and pursuing advanced education? Where does having babies and forging these intense familial bonds fit in?
  19. Funny, I just don't see him that way. I feel like he does the best he can dealing with such a large family and having to deal with four wives. Some men can barely muster enough emotion to keep one wife happy (thankfully that doesn't apply to my husband!). A plural family would test the mettle of anyone. Now, that is definitely not to say that I feel sorry for him or anything - this situation is 100% his doing; it was what he wanted and he went out made it happen. But I do feel like he genuinely loves his children and has at least some measure of affection for each wife. Saying that a man can be insensitive is not exactly a revelation.
  20. I was wondering about the LulaNo money too. From the way they were talking at Meri's house, it sounds like the family has no idea how she's doing moneywise - if she was putting it into the family coffers, then at least Kody or Janelle (does she keep the family books?) would know. *A big ol' HELL YES to this! And props to whoever came up with LulaNo - so simple, yet so accurate!
  21. I'm not sure what people are saying about Bonnie, other than it's not the entire Brown family's responsibility to buy her a house when she already has one or could easily move in with Meri. If they are saying bad things about her personally, then I completely understand why Meri would be upset. It's her mother - who wouldn't get upset if someone attacked their mother? I also have to say that I get being sentimental about things, and I have no trouble understanding why Meri and her mother would want to buy the house in Parowan. I don't think it's the responsibilty of the entire family to support that, but I get why they want to get it back into the family; whether it's been out of the family for 10 years or 100, that makes no difference. But, the Browns are being reasonable in saying that it should be an income situation. Basically I'm saying I understand both sides, but agree 100% that it's not the rest of the family's responsibility to buy the house for Meri. I also think it's unfair to make fun of Meri for being sentimental about it. Meri has a lot of real issues, but that doesn't mean that everything she says, does, or wants is wrong or stupid.
  22. Oh lordy that picture...! I forgot about that.
  23. I noticed that sweater and thought it was very pretty!
  24. Entirely possible. I don't know the timeline and how many kids she had before they went plyg. I find it hard to believe that the courts would take children away from their mother and award them to a man who is living a plural lifestyle though - I don't care how good an attorney he is. Maybe I'm just being naive, but surely he would not have a leg to stand on?
