  1. These are both favs and people I want more from. Sometimes the actor themselves bumps them up. 1. Rick - he's just interesting. Makes terrible decisions sometimes but I like a messed up protagonist. 2. Glenn - he's badass but still has morals. I want more for him. 3. Michonne - complex, sweet with Carl, badass, has grown. 4. Carol - her arc has amazed me. 5. Hershel - Scott Wilson was great. I didn't care for him in the beginning but his death was the worst for me. 6. Sasha - she surprised me. I like how badass she is, while still have faults. I liked the difference her grief was shown in comparison to other characters 7. Aaron - I'm intrigued by him. I want more from him and Eric. Their relationship is sweet and one of them better not die before we see more 8. Maggie - I've always liked Lauren so I want more for her this year too. I loved how she has taken on some of Hershel's teachings and putting them forward. 9. Carl - ugh teenagers but his story is a fascinating one. 10. Rosita - I'm one of the few who likes her, I know. But I've really enjoyed her scenes outside of Abraham. I'm torn between Eugene and her on this list, but she is more capable in this world whole Eugene is great comedy. God, or maybe Morgan but that's more because of Lennie than anything else. I would have added Daryl if he had died say, in season three, but the last few seasons have killed the character for me so I'm a bit over him.
  2. What I find interesting about this show recently, is that despite it being an hour, I still find they bypass certain topics entirely. They have more time to discuss things and yet spend half the time discussing one character, or something discussed in depth before. I normally hate teenagers but Enid seems pretty together and smart about the show.
  3. Let's just hope the black and white is gone. I assume this episode is going to be the same as last week but focused on those who stayed behind - Carol, Carl, Aaron, Rosita, etc. I will rage if we end at nearly the same spot as last week.
  4. I'm okay with that. After being such a big fan for years, my utter distaste for the show in the last season surprised me. But I couldn't handle the show ignoring the majority of it's cast anymore, especially when they're so good. I hope they all move on to bigger and better things.
  5. Barely. She was with Tara when she woke up. And I think she was in the group when they were building the wall at the corner but there were a ton of people in that scene. To me, they look nothing alike other than having dark hair. Rosita is pretty small, both in stature and features. Tara is bigger - not in the fat sense, but just solid. Also Rosita is Latina so... She's the one with the accent? And Tara is more jokey-joke and Rosita is only allowed scenes with Abrham and Eugene except for a brief moment last season with Michonne and Sasha.
  6. Mikey is just like the guy who won last year whose name I can never remember. He's super basic, never tries, face never changes, and yet he'll probably win. I thought he did terrible in the video and he gets a 10 from Tyra? His hair was covering his face half the time and he didn't seem to do much else. I don't care for Devin but at least he worked that hallway. I was terrified for Nyle - he got the tragic backstory, a bad challenge score, and yet another spoken/music video shoot? His face doesn't change much, but I enjoy looking at his face so I can give him a pass because I'm shallow and this is a show that allows a man with a fake beard to get far so it's not so serious. At least there's something there rather than the blank space that is Mikey's face. And Hadassah. I think Nyle is smiley because he still has first episode feelings - when they were all excited to be there. The rest have been beaten down because of their insanity and fights and backstabbing and gossip, and he seems relatively out of that both because, like Lacey, they can be adults, but also by being deaf he's not hearing every tiny bitch the rest of the contestants have. I want to like Mame because she is good, but good lord she hates everything all the time. And I immediately judge people when they claim "this is for [eliminated contestant who I knew for a month]". Win for yourself! Jesus.
  7. For some reason I remember Melissa mcbride not getting main character status until season 3or 4 or something so I don't take much of that to heart.
  8. So they claim blue skirt is basic, Ashley's look is not super original, but Edmonds red tube dress with some strings is amazing and not the most obvious choice ever for bombshell? Judges are crazy this year. Well, the last few years. But give me a break.
  9. I've rewatched it before with the marathons and that's the one I always skip too. It's not only that I never really cared for Beth, but every character in the hospital is just so flat (minus Noah) and/or gross and not even in the enjoyable way like Merle was.
  10. God I'm so over beefy Alpha male teams cruising through this show. Not a single woman in the finale is ridiculous. C'mon puke brothers. I am rooting for you.
  11. Maybe it's because I've liked Kirk since his first appearance, but I don't really care about what he did. They've been in Mexico for like a month. I don't think it's that much of a dick move to be like "yeah, you talking about having my babies kind of freaked me out" it's entirely natural to have doubts, which he has had for awhile. I do think he liked her but when the choice is break up or meet the parents, after a few weeks, I'd probably break up too. Her eyebrows were intense too. I was actually semi impressed that Ashley took the break up okay. Well not as crazily as I would have expected from her. She held it together with him at least.
  12. This was a terrible episode. The balloon game was stupid, mostly bc it can be controlled to allow the team behind to catch up. The celebs were all such bitches, except for delightful Seth Green. The last game was painful with the losing guys team. "The undead" I DONT KNOW, I DONT WATCH THE SHOW. What does that have to do with it, what did she think the undead meant? the clues for Atlanta weren't great but what else could "gerogia" and "they're from there" could mean to Michelle? The comedian was a jackass, no doubt, but they were so flippant of one another. Final round had some tough names. Normally you can tell it was either the celeb or human screwing up but there's only so many ways to get Paul giomati. Which I think may only be one way.
  13. It doesn't surprise me that they had big ratings becaus it's a Sunday in the summer. They competed against the second hour of Bachleor in Paradise and that's it. I'd be interested to see how next week goes. Though a lot of people I talked to enjoyed it and people like myself, who didn't, may still watch because it's summer and eh.
  14. One thing I wish they did for this series was do it Wwz style - I wish they had shown the beginning of the apocalypse from a variety of ways, a doctor being prepped on the new 'flu', a government official trying to keep it under wraps, a family in LA dealing with the outbreak. If they weren't going to show origins, I do wish we could see how people reacted, not just a family again. And if budget were a concern, they could have spent one episode on each person/group and have them all meet up on season two. The thing with such a little cast is that there's no relief if you find one or more annoying.
  15. Gimple is getting a bit too Kirkman-like on the show now, with his non answers and bullshiting. I get it, you can't say anything but at least attempt to be .. something. I may be alone, but I would appreciate the show much more if they had the balls to kill off Daryl. No one should be safe and i hate that the whole 'viewership will drop' is hanging over their heads which means he'll never die.
  16. I had really low expectations for this, and sadly they were met if not more so. And I'm kind of upset about it. I never complained about TWD being slow bc I like character building but good lord. It doesn't help that I didn't like any of the characters except for the dad, and probably only bc I like the actor. I found the son annoying, the mother was very blank, I'd like more of the ex wife and son but I don't know if I can handle any more family drama.
  17. If all these kids are sick, where the hell are all the dead people
  18. I'm starting to think that this show was only created to get people to stop calling TWD slow.
  19. I've never heard someone yell Justin Bieber so aggressively and I just died laughing. I agree that it was someone else on his team that said Bee Bear off to the side which seemed to click with him. I enjoyed other David because he seemed genuinely concerned with the score the whole time. And when he screwed up, he said he was losing confidence with himself and seemed very aware that this wasn't just a game for the civilians. He really tried to set Mary up in the last game but she was just not understanding. When Monday came up, I thought it was a done deal but I didn't even think of the implications of saying Saturday Sunday. I would have gone for day-before-Tuesday but not sure if Mary would have picked up on that. I find when the episode has someone I really like on it, there's always someone really annoying i despise. Then on an episode like this when Kate is the one I know the most (solely from the office) I tend to enjoy it more because the celebs are all pretty chill.
  20. Watching Alfre's episode now and yes, singing was awkward. But moving story. I'm never a huge fan of the episodes that the history is solely in the US but I enjoyed the trajectory of her great grandfather. I do appreciate how the microfiche guy emphasized that Lizzie had something to do with Alec getting land too. Yeah good for him but your great grandmother was probably pretty awesome too. Of,course I wrote this five min before the end of the episode. So I'm glad she celebrated Lizzie as well
  21. Andy is one of the most selfish characters I've ever seen on television. Her entitlement blows my mind every single episode, just when I think she can't get worse, she blames a mother of a newborn for disrupting her time. She blames Sam for being a father and helping the poor woman with his own child, just bc she couldn't get me time. It's not like they don't work together or anything and see each other every day... And on the other end, we have Gail admitting that another home may be the best for a child and letting it go (at least I hope bc a family makes more sense than anything and if she somehow ends up with her well...) Nick can go to Vancouver if it means he gets out of this shit hole. You know what will solve Sam and Andy's massive mountain of problems that have existed from the beginning of time? A puppy along with the new baby, and speeding up the wedding. Because nothing solves communication problems and nothing in common than forcing a wedding to happen sooner than it should. They really should try couples therapy first.
  22. I'd rather see them all in hoodies than watch all the women in 4 inch heels nearly kill themselves as they run around. I lived for how angry the men got at the normal during the first game. He said he was competitive and had game nights! Where was his drive?! I've realized this year that I don't care for the singing games. How do you doo tends to be painful, and this new one I found dragged on. I'm glad jane can sing but...eh. I don't need to hear it for a full game. I liked all th celebs this time around which was good and they were all competent.
