  1. They did call an ambulance. It just took 18 years to get there. When they came back from commercial, what sounded like Dov had a voice over on an ambulance saying woman in labour on the 7th floor. I think the first time I smiled this season was when dov and Chloe kissed. I can't help it, I like them. Or I just like them happy/on screen. I know they have limitd time to tell a story but there should have been more on traci and Gail dealing with the fallout. Instead gail got another forced love interest and track got....silence? Where is Ward? She does show up next episode but she disappeared. So did Nick. I guess he got his fill of air time with his one episode earlier this season. Are we supposed to feel bad for Andi? First with her banning Marlo from the wedding, then her making snide faces any time she's around her, including when she should be DOING HER JOB by going to a crime scene. Though it seems like tumblr is siding with her which shouldn't surprise me....thank god for you all.
  2. But Santana didn't know that Gail and nick were there. He wouldn't even be aware that it was a set up so he'd have no reason, other than Andy being sketchy around him. My complaints are the same as usual - too much Andy. And now she so involved with the birth next week. Of course. I'm hoping there's some conclusion to the fact that Gail said she doesn't trust/like liars to Nick, and the fallout with her bro. Though it seemed like she was pushing Tracy to talk to him next week which goes against the thing we saw her say 40min before...
  3. The only team I'm actively rooting against is Sabrina because she is going to be tiresome. She already is, but I mean from getting lost the second they got their bags, to immediately bursting into tears at the sight of water... I just can't with her. Things I absolutely loved - the brother who vomited at the sight of the other brothers being ahead of them on the ferry (and I normally hate vomit but it was just too perfect); the Nigerian father/daughter are adorable and he was awesome in that water for never having swam before; diversity galore. I'm not overly upset at the elimination because I thought they were just so blah and vapid at the beginning, but I felt for him at the challenge being dyslexic. Other random thoughts - A lot of workout montages in the intros. The young engaged couple/transgender - they're like 18 right? They looked so young. She said they met in cadets 7 years prior which I thought was a young teens thing but maybe they were older. I guess no older than 23 because he said he transitioned at 16 yeah? Otherwise no big impressions other than I'm not looking forward to the meaty brothers steamrolling all the comps.
  4. And she wasn't even right about Ward. She thought she was dirty, still working for the mob, not undercover. I still wish it was dov and Marlo who solved it since it was their case to begin with. The fact that all dov did in the end was play WoW was meh.
  5. I'm feeling very eh about this whole season. Maybe because it's all a bit too predictable, maybe because the writers feel its necessary to shoehorn Andy into at least 50% of the episodes, maybe because we keep picking up and dropping storylines like they're nothing (Chris is over drugs! Now he's hooking up with a married drug addict... but is he using?)(Nick had major revelation about his past that shaped his whole life! but we're done with that now and he's cool) (Dov and Chloe are still dancing around each other! With no movement towards anything!). But let's all be happy that Andy and Sam got engaged after 5 months of being back together (which I guess 2 months have magically passed between the first episode and now? Since Marlo was 3-4 months pregnant not long ago and Sam said last night that it's been a long 6 months for him and Andy. That whole timeline is strange) Of course not only Andy but Sam is now involved in the IA investigation. And despite Ward being the head, I'm sure they'll find a way for them to solve it too. And I'm over Andy pulling the "uh, we're dating?" card when it comes to secret investigations. Sam doesn't owe you jackshit if it is detrimental to finding a mole within their precinct. Be an adult for once and listen when he says let it go. I miss Noelle.
  6. I'm perfectly okay with Juliet taking the other side of Nick's story because that means that Andy stayed out of it for the most part. Gail is too busy with her child storylne, Chris isn't getting anything good this year, Chloe is only there for comic relief...of course the writers would chose Juliet. And it does play in to the fact that Nick never truly bonded with the original rookies (outside of Gail because of their history). But even with Andy's lack of screen time, she still managed to piss me off - what did Juliet do to warrant her beat down at the beginning? Blaming her for Nick faking sick, her butting in like a jealous exgirlfriend at the bar. The only thing Andy really knows is that Juliet didn't tell her anything, which is in her right since she doesn't know Andy. Yeah, Juliet is hiding something and it's going to be real fun when Andy gets to be right, but for now? Back off Andy. You don't get to pry into his personal life, and then get mad when Juliet respectively tells you to ask him tomorrow. Dov/Chloe remain favs. Chris is great when he's not wrapped up in drama. I'm not really feeling this storyline for Gail but I've just accepted that it's happening. I think Peter Mooney did a great job with this episode, particularly the scene at the bar when he started to get into the accident. I'm glad we finally got his backstory after 4 years. 4 years and we're just now getting an episode about him after the adoptive storyline last year. And if that means less McSwarek, even better.
  7. Who was the random that named Bill near the end of the episode? It cut quickly to all the regulars. Unless that was Katherine's bf and I don't remember what he looks like?
  8. For what it's worth, statsgirl the nice girl was crazy (she wandered upon Andy and Juliet in the infirmary, tried to stab the already stabbed, but then they busted in the doors at that exact moment with flash grendades and knocked everyone on their ass. Mary Walsh and Gail finished their convo, turns out she murdered her husband after he caused a fire that killed her children. That left Gail with feelings. Of what? Who knows because we had to hear more about Andy's feelings.
  9. I don't think, and really don't hope, that they'll go there. Chloe was flirting her way down the hall and she's probably used to everyone taking it in stride since they know her. Then she hits Duncan, expecting him to react the same but he takes it personal. She seemed really put off by it at the end which gives me hope. But the writers don't give me hope on a lot of things. I loved Juliet's line to Nick when they got to the prison about being the only cop there he hadn't slept with, and he replied "not yet'. It seemed like an OOC line for him, but it made me laugh nonetheless. And yeah, I'm also frustrated that Andy managed to get into that storyline too. So she has the major baby storyline, the major undercover storyline, and every main cop storyline in each episode? I get she's supposed to be our main character, but even Mededith Grey took a break for awhile. And I loved how she couldn't even explain why she wasn't with Nick/with Sam. "He's amazing, he's funny, he's loyal" "but uh...history with Sam. So. I'm torturing myself" Not, I'm in love with Sam. Not, Sam's better for me. Just, I've had this long and tortured past over the last 5 years so I have to just settle with the thing I've put myself through. Thanks writers for not even trying to explain the disaster that was last season. They never explained what happened to the guard that the prisoners took down at the very beginning eh? I felt bad that Juliet and Andy just watched him get (nearly) killed and ran away. At least TRY to get to him.
  10. I'm anti ships too and it never really occured to me throughout the season that Jeff/Annie was a thing (because I blacked it out of my own head) until the finale. That part made me roll my eyes, but I do think they handled it well. Did the Dean swear at one point? I swore he said that Chang was 'fucked up' and it completely threw me. I guess it is online, but I'm so used to it being an NBC show that to hear it was a bit shocking. It almost seemed like a blooper, since Joel made a face afterwards.
  11. Agreed. I don't find him funny but I like when the comedians appear like they're enjoying themselves. My fav episodes are ones that have the contestants bouncing off each other and cracking up to the point where they can't continue. Afterall, Funches giggle is why we're all here.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if they had Marlo kidnapped and somehow lose the baby, just to make things all right in Andy's world. I realized that I completely zoned out of the last scene between Andy and Sam because how many conversations can they have about how they aren't right for each other, things are shitty, but they love each other, so let's force it. One of my biggest issues too is how Ben Bass is just not that good of an actor. He looks so slack jawed all the time that I have no idea if he's bored, tired, surprised, or confused. I can't believe I"m saying this, but I would take more Duncan if that meant the Andy/Sam drama would just disappear. I'm tired of every single preview for the next episode so far has been about them. I'm grateful for this board because it seems like people here agree. I suppose TPTB are more submitting to the tumblr crowd then us with their Sam/Andy focus. David Sutcliffe - I know him from Private Practice (the cop that Addison was dating) but he was also on Gilmore Girls.
  13. It's unfortunate that even when I want to be on Andy's side(regarding warning people) I still find her very self righteous and find myself rooting against her. So between the end of 4 and end of 5 it's only been 3 months(if Marlo is 4 months after the break between 5 and 6)? So Sam was in the hospital, got out, back to work which is what, minimum a month with the severity of his wound. So Andy and Sam were supposed to fall back in love so hardcore in 2 months? God I'm so over them. And I feel bad for Marlo. You know she just wants, over that mess but somehow she's made out to be the bad guy. Again, nick-Chloe friendship is awesome. I like Juliet and really, that divison needs to be watched closer. They get away with too much. What did Chris do to get such terrible story lines?
  14. Why is no one reprimanded on this show? She unclipped and walked towards a man ready to jump that's twice her size, expecting to have control over him (despite her not being able to budge him previously at the fire), rather than spending 5 seconds walking back and untangling herself, and she gets a 'way to go!'? I immediately didn't like Chilly (?), solely because of the actress, and that is solely because of her character on Friday Night Lights, but I warmed up by the end. Let's just hope she doesn't hook up with anyone any time soon.
  15. Chris has said a number of times on his podcast that he doesn't smoke pot because he's one of the ones that it makes paranoid. While booze calmed him down, drugs amped him up too much and made him lose control and he said he hated the feeling.
  16. I really hope Gabby takes Mills up on his offer.
  17. The only time being in Canada pays off, in terms of television Rookie Blue returns to Global on May 21 - http://www.globaltv.com/rookieblue/latest/rookie-blue-returns-thursday-may-21/ Not looking forward to the Andi-Sam drama again but glad to see the rest of the crew back.
  18. It was a short, two sentence clip when they came back from a commercial break. That's what ~Team Delusional is claiming - that he realized how much he pissed off the fandom that he ran scared and didn't want to show his face on Talking Dead. Really, as much as I enjoy Gimple, I was fine with him not being there. I was shocked when, after promoting Melissa McBride last week, he then stated another secret guest. I couldn't fathom how they'd manage 4 guests and I assume Gimple was telling the truth when he said as such. He's not an idiot, he knows how many fans the 3 of those actors have. Out of the past show runners, he seems to be the one who knows that it is the actors that draw in the fans for the most part.
  19. It was a refreshing episode, no more rags to riches story, fighting on the right side, type history. I've always enjoyed Sean and he killed me when he was like "I'm going to the court house to where my great grandfather ws charged....I'm so proud"
  20. Last night did feel really jilted and off. Maybe it was just bc they had so much to talk about and get through, that it felt so much time was wasted on fan questions and talking about the weird thing the fan did, and the polls and whatever. Like, not talking at all about Sasha and Glenn and even really, Rick. Also, Gabriel. God, what did they talk about?
  21. I can hear the fanfics being written as we speak/type. Cut to season 6 premiere when Beth and Daryl show up hand in hand. THE WALKING DEAD - WEDDING SPECIAL.
  22. From the things that the @midnight account was retweeting, yes the normals just aren't that funny.there are some great things on the hashtag wars each night but the pointsme hashtag was garbage. I don't even care that he ultimately wasn't a true normal bc it was one of the funnier episodes in weeks.
  23. I feel bad for Hardwick sometimes (in a first-world-problem type way) because he is such a fan, but he has to remain partial as a host, but he has to cover all sides, and if he doesn't he gets called sexist or racist or a shipper or a hater. He's plenty used to it, if anyone listens to The Nerdist podcast, but it's not an easy job. Hardwick has been the one of Michonne's biggest fans and I can remember his glee when she first showed up at the end of season 2 + having Danai on for the first time. To say he now hates her for the sole fact that he doesn't ship her with Rick is sort of ridiculous. And yes, Yvette was a last minute addition that was promoted some time during the week. I was excited for the sole fact that I don't care for Gale all the time (she's like a happy medium between Kirkman's non-answering, and Greg's can talk without giving much away) but she gets a little too 'ooo whooo knows" for my liking. But since it was Chandler's first time, it wasn't a great episode for her to be on since we had 5 years of show to ask CR about. But I can understand them calling her, if CR was nervous as Hardwick said he was. She's a nice presence.
  24. Technically, Emily was on like 2-3 episodes prior to her death + and return visit to Talking Dead so you can't write anything off.
  25. Hardwick said another surprised cast member at the end, didn't he? I'm hoping they screwed up the script and it's just Melissa but ugh. I can't handle any more core cast dying
