  1. It's amazing what fixes are out there. I'm guessing they will soften/melt some sort of like-colored material, and meld it with your existing flooring. Or, I could be completely full of it, and they will cut out a section and replace it.
  2. PSA - Here is a website I used previously when I had issues with a dishwasher. Basically a user-based Q&A, with (hopefully) helpful advice and resources. It's where I read that my (2nd) control panel problem I had with my KA dishwasher could be solved by rebooting the dishwasher, which I accomplished by throwing the breaker. May not help with broken parts, etc., but may provide suggestions for alternatives/cheaper resources etc. fixya.com
  3. Due to an aggressive auto-immune disease, my hubs takes high doses of oral steroids, and has for nearly two years. He has developed a noticeable quiver in his voice that he never had before. There are myriad of reasons why Dani could have the physical affects she has, from medical, psychological, medicinal... Or maybe, it's just Dani.
  4. Looks like it's a binge of BM today, do you know which episode you're referring to^? The menu of shows sort of jumps around, and I'd like to see the one you commented on.
  5. I won't ask if my previous post had improperly placed commas, as I'm certain it does. Considering my indulgent rant, I know that punctuation is not my strong suit.
  6. Improper grammar has become all too common, and I have yet to see or hear an explanation for that. The laissez-faire attitude about it is maddening to me. In a world with spellcheck, grammarly, and others, it would seem easier not harder to get it right.
  7. So did you email them all 47 times, or did you enlist family and friends? 😆
  8. Me: (in my best John McEnroe voice) "You.can.not.be.serious!?!" Sell me this pencil "Where do you see yourself in five years?" "What's your biggest fault?" ** **Someday, I hope to be able to answer, "As of today, it's agreeing to do this interview", followed by a knowing look to the interviewer, and walking confidently out of the room.
  9. Michael Chakraverty (season/series 10) scolds GBBO for season 11's Japanese Week. His points are valid. former-great-british-baking-show
  10. When I would sit crying from watching some animal based tragedy, my Dad would come over and tell me he loved that I had a sensitive heart. It's one of the few times he was tender, so that's not a peeve at all. 🥺
  11. I couldn't even watch Wonderful World Of Disney on Sunday nights when I was a kid, as inevitaby, it was a tear jerker involving a pet or wild animal which has met with illness, injury, or death. Old Yeller and Bambi scarred me for life.
  12. ^This plus I think of it as a gift, considering the condition of most folks at 97/98 (I've heard both ages). I'm likely colored by the experiences of my in-laws and parents, who died at 87, 92, and one still hanging on and miserable at 89, but I wish him fair skies and smooth clouds hereafter.
  13. Please never share those stories without a *Warning* tag. I can't.
  14. And now her surviving sons will be on a suicide watch of sorts I would imagine. Unthinkable.
  15. Happened across this item. I know these will start pouring out of the woodwork, and I thought that if I post it early, 2020 will spare us more sadness. I don't recall all of these, and there's a couple missing of course... 2020-stars-weve-lost
  16. Um Leah? Make good choices... nyt-pornhub-has-distributed-and-monetized-the-sexual-abuse-of-children
  17. As a rule, I don't care for cold leftovers of any kind, if the food was originally served warm. That includes pizza, pasta, chicken...
  18. The Slim Jims didn't kill him before 95 but Covid got him? Huh.
  19. I don't think so. She's calling out Ramona and others for not openly admitting to having surgeries. As usual, she's being judgemental, because as we all know, she comes from a place of yes, and efforts to empower women. Did I say that right Bethenny?
  20. Bethenny just can't help herself. It is beginning to look like someone is having an existential crisis. For the record, I don't disagree with the basis of her argument. Ramona has long contended that her youthful appearance is nothing more than clean living, with minimal outside intervention. Where I disagree is that it is "unfair" for people who don't have a lot of money. Most that don't have the means, are elsewhere obsessed, not necessarily concerned with when their next procedure will take place, and what body part will be pulled/pushed/nipped/tucked. bethenny-frankel-rants-about-plastic-surgery-calls-out-ramona-singer
  21. It appears you're telling me that many who use ^these examples, are doing so because they have become accustomed to hearing them used by folks with perhaps a different regional background. I can see how hearing words used a certain way over a long period of time, could override what one would be taught in a classroom setting. If I'm misinterpreting, then I'm lost.
