  1. I don't understand why Laurance is even on the show. I've felt this from the start - it's like she just thinks this is all sooo beneath her and her designs. She has a very high opinion of herself, and it's not always justified. I also feel like she does just enough to keep her safe, as the judges said. She doesn't seem to put any real effort into anything and I sometimes feel like she's just phoning it in. She had a perfect pairing with Gary - he also has a very high opinion of himself and it's rarely justified.
  2. Gary, if you don't watch Below Deck Sailing, is always trying to get a girl drunk and take advantage of her. He's a big douche...but Anna was stupid, too. Her husband should be annoyed with her. Speaking of Anna - why is she wearing a 1950's bedroom lampshade on her head during her interview looks?
  3. Alexia was way out of line....and then, did I hear correctly when Alexia's first husband was brought up- did she really say something like - "You can be a drug dealer and still be a good person"?? In what world is a drug dealer EVER a "good" person???? Alexia usually doesn't bother me, but that entire exchange with Julia and then, that comment later really made me cringe. And, Adrianna can shove it with her "bought with my own money" bullshit. She would LOVE to have a wealthy husband taking care of her and buying her things. Didn't she drop that French guy with the houseboat because she found out that he didn't really have any money?
  4. I noticed that - it's like he's got permanent lockjaw or something. But, that was not the worst "face" thing tonight. That realtor guy that Gina wants to work for? That face was some scary shit....it looked like one of those creepy plastic Halloween masks that the murderer guy wears in a slasher movie.
  5. Unless, of course, it is a plate of food that is worthy of their Instagram, Twitter or TikTok feeds. After all, they are influencers, don't you know....they have to keep their followers happy!! Oh - but then, they may just take a photo of the food but not eat it.
  6. Well, I would think that most people in Mississippi aren't wearing full length fur coats - the weather doesn't warrant it, most of the time. IMO, Ubah thinks she's clever and cute in her talking head moments, however, she comes across as snooty, self-absorbed, entitled and ignorant of others outside her "circle" ....much like her cousin, Chanel, from RH of Dubai. Obviously, I'm not quite a fan of Ubah's at this point, LOL!
  7. I mentioned upthread that Brynn, according to her LinkedIn account, graduated from Purdue University. So, while not Harvard, it's still a great school that's no easy ride to get through.
  8. I think it IS difficult to find interesting women of substance that are also rich, sexy and fun who are willing to display themselves on what has become a joke of a reality show. RH used to be a different type of show. Over the last decade and with the additions of additional cities, it's just not the same. Each city's cast is vying to be the top show and with that, they do desperately stupid antics. The producers encourage this with alcohol-fueled dinners, lunches and trips and have show runners buzzing in the women's ears about who slighted them, or maybe they should turn up the drama or stupid antics a little more, because they're coming off on film as "boring" or in jeopardy of losing their apple/orange/peach, etc. These women, while appearing confident, are all narcissistic and quite insecure. No confident, substantial, rich women would want to be associated with these shows any longer, and that is what is so sad about it all. And yet....I keep watching!
  9. A few things that did bother me about tonight's show, though: I did not like Sai basically age-shaming Jenna in her talking head comments. Jenna is the oldest of these women, and it wasn't so nice. Speaking of Jenna - did you know she was gay? I think she mentions this in every one of her own talking head comments, in one way or another. Brynn is quite impressed with herself, even if no one else is. I didn't like how she basically barged her way into the flirtation between Ubah and the trainer guy. She sees a guy and her whole persona changes. She's just a younger version of Ramona, LuAnn or Sonja. The stupid dinner table game - why do we have to be subjected to this ALL THE TIME!!! Can't these women just have natural, organic, clever conversations without resorting to talk about sex? And, if we must be subjected to these games, can't they be played without delving into conversations that revolve around sexcapades? Lastly - why do these ladies have to get all dressed up to just move from the upstairs bedrooms to the dining room in a house? They way they were all dressed it looked like they were going out for a night on the town. Why can't they just wear some nice, at home clothes, like a pair of pants and a beautiful sweater or something?
  10. Brynn did not even go to Harvard. According to her LinkedIn (from news sources) she attended Purdue University in Indiana. Brynn does seem to have an issue with places not being "cool" enough for her. First, the restaurant in New York (the name they keep editing out) wasn't good enough, and now, Erin's house isn't in the right location in the Hamptons. Is she that pretentious? I wasn't happy that Jenna tried to sneak out of Erin's house, but I guess I could understand why. For someone who decided to sign up for a reality show, she seems very quiet and unsure of herself. I do like her, though, and I am liking Erin, too. The rest, I'm not sure how I feel about them, but did appreciate hearing Sai's backstory about her growing up. Interesting that some of the other ladies seemed surprised to hear that Sai grew up poor and now hates the Dollar store, while the others, specifically Erin, feel like it's a "fun" place to shop. It's all about perspective, isn't it? When Dollar Store goods are all you can afford and you're basically forced to shop there, it becomes a shameful reminder of your past. When you've grown up more comfortable or with means, it's a kitschy place to spend a few dollars.
  11. I think it was also a way to promote Christian's partnership with Gloria Vanderbilt on a line of jeans, etc., and also a good way to get rid of all those old GV jeans that were probably sitting in a warehouse somewhere (and, as someone said - clean out that one room in Christian's store).
  12. Exactly!! But, I do know several people who do get their nostrils waxed, like Shane and Emily did. I don't think I could stand that pain! I just can't imagine sticking a small ball of hot wax in my nostril and have someone rip it out with a tweezer!! It's not that difficult and much more beneficial to your health (and nose) to just trim what needs to be trimmed and neatened.
  13. Tamra is in great shape and very fit, imo, but I seriously NEVER EVER want to see her bare breasts again. Such a pathetic attention-grab!! I'm surprised she hasn't created an "Only Fans" account yet! I wonder if Heather has some type of body dysmorphia. She always seems so much more covered up than the rest of the women, with the exception of Shannon, who we all know suffers from her own body image issues because of her weight gain. I think that Heather may think that she's too thin or not curvy enough or something, so she covers everything up. That full length bodysuit was ridiculous! Personally, I think, most of the time, Heather is dressed extremely well (with the exception of the logo overloads) and age appropriate, but she's very "buttoned up".
  14. Jenna's wardrobe is decidedly NY business woman with a downtown twist, plus a little bit of "old money, so I don't give a shit" style. I don't know if she comes from money, but she's got that look. Sort of Carole Radziwill-ish. Say what you will about her wardrobe, but I would give my right arm for her shoe collection/closet!!!!
  15. I agree - I thought that Rami's was much more in keeping with the challenge. It looked like a beautiful dress with underwear-ish elements. Kara Saun's looked too much like lingerie to me. With the feathers, etc., it looked like an old-fashioned peignoir. Kara Saun's was very pretty, but to me, Rami's was stunning. I would wear that in a heartbeat ~~ if I was 5'10" tall, thin, size two 20-something ~~ instead of a 5'2" short, average, size six 60-something. 🤣
  16. Frankly, I am getting quite tired of the "stories" behind the design. While I enjoy it, if I want a history lesson, I'll switch to the History Channel. I didn't get the connection, either - something about her vision was a 1920's style garment, so that immediately went to the St. Louis Massacre. Actually, I got more of a 1930's vibe from Kera Saun's garment - it looked like something that Carole Lombard or another actress would have worn in a movie while in their stage set boudoir. So, for me, it went a little costume-y.
  17. I agree! Gary seems very narcissistic - no way would he miss an opportunity to see himself on TV. Why do a TV show if you have no intention of watching yourself when the show airs? That was a bullshit excuse for him to not take accountability for his shitty behavior.
  18. I strongly doubt if Ryan said this about Tamra, even though he has a really bad reputation as a man-whore kind of guy. Tamra, since her first season on the show, has always claimed that she is the "hottest housewife". She's very competitive in that, and always needs the attention, whether actual or not. I caught a repeat of the RH Ultimate Girls' Trip-Bluestone Manor. The women were discussing with Brandi the whole Denise Richards debacle that Brandi brought out on RHOBH. Tamra chimed in and said that Denise Richards also tried to hit on her. Denise denied this, and I believe Denise. Tamra can't stand that someone may be considered more sexy or hotter than she thinks she is.
  19. These guests are disgusting and gross, on top of being the weirdest group I've ever seen on BD! I could not figure out who was whom, who was with whom, and what was the older woman doing there with all of these over the top personalities. Their behavior was obnoxious and I guess they achieved what they probably started out to do - to be in the top five worst BD guest groups ever. You've got to be pretty bad if you make Captain Glenn lose his temper and raise his voice.
  20. I just don't understand why in the world Mads constantly chose Gary over Alex. Although, I guess she's right. If she turned away from him after accepting his advances right at the start of the season, he would have made her on-board life a living hell with his pouty petulance.
  21. I don't usually like men with long, messy hair, but, damn.....Alex with his hair blowing in the wind seriously had my heart going pitter-patter!!! Gary should take note - keep your hair clean and well tended and even your man-bun will look good. I cannot stand man-child Gary - he's so fucking immature. He's been a dick to multiple women season after season after season. ONE woman gives him back the same behavior, and he acts like a five year old.
  22. Beverly Beach's website is still active: https://beverlybeachbydorit.com/ If you wanted to get something "designed" by Dorit, get it now - all the items on the website are deeply discounted.
  23. Me too....I honestly thought that Kyle and Mauricio would be one of the couples that would last. I'm kind of upset about this. Funny!! But, I'm still sad over this.
  24. Good description! Me, I got a "Judy Jetson" prom dress vibe, or maybe something that a Whoville wife would wear to a Christmas party in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". (I'm talking about just the dress here - not the cape.)
  25. I agree. Why? Shouldn't the design be able to tell it's own story? Why must there always be a fairy tale connected with the design? That was one of the things I liked about Rami and Bishme tonight. Their "story" was that every woman deserves to feel royal at least once in their life, and that is who they designed for. They just made a beautiful dress - no backstory or explanation necessary. The gown spoke for itself. That gown would look stunning on Kate Middleton. While not a winning look, I thought their's was actually second best after Korto and Praaje.
