  1. This, 100%!!!! Fraser seems to be insecure in his position as Chief Stew, and I don't think he's happy that Barbie (or anyone) could possibly have aspirations to that title. Especially because Barbie seems very strong in a lot of the same things that Fraser is strong in (service, getting along with guests, etc.) She's also strong at tending bar and tablescapes and theme decor. I've yet to see Fraser do either tablescapes and/or decor. Barbie is also a strong personality and looks good all the time, so in the "Bravosphere", she may be a stronger contender for future Chief Stew opportunities on the Below Deck franchise. All of this, I'm sure, is going on in Fraser's head. He's being horrible to her, imo. I hope that Captain Kerry puts him in his place, and won't let Fraser fire Barbie. If she leaves on her own, I think that would be a bad move for her, too. I'm reminded on Kate and Jen (I think it was Season 4 or 5) - Jen was horrible, and there was a lot of back and forth between her and Kate. Kate worked through it and finally figured out a way to work with her. There was also that girl, Laura (replacement for crazy Caroline), who made the comment to Kate about "checking herself" - now, THAT was insubordination and disrespect. Barbie has not really displayed that, imo. Kate also figured out a way to work that situation out. Fraser doesn't have that managerial quality yet - if ever. He's too personally sensitive.
  2. I agree - I was like "WTF????" And here, I thought I splurge when I buy a six pack of Fiji Water!! 🤣 I do agree, though, that different waters do have different tastes. For example, I can tell the difference between Dasani and Fiji water.
  3. Jax was saying what so many viewers were thinking.....for once!
  4. I think it is time for the Vanderpump Rules saga to have some kind of happy or unhappy ending. The show is quite boring this season, and there is nothing that can or will outdo the ridiculous drama of last season's Scandoval. Actually, last season, before the whole affair storyline, the show was boring then, too. So, while I'm watching and trying to stay awake, I start focusing on background things - like trying to figure out the layout of Scheana and Brock's townhouse, that seems super tiny, checking out the weird decor in Schwartz's apartment, the absolute "Wayfair-ness" of James and Ally's house, etc. However, what struck me hard this week is the absolute messiness of Sandoval and Ariana's house. I get they are in the middle of a very contentious parting of the ways and dividing households, but those two are both kind of slovenly. Both their bedrooms are a hot mess, with clothes strewn all over every surface and piled in corners on the floor. Closets are cluttered and hodgepodge. Bathrooms have hair product, makeup and other health and beauty aides taking up all possible counter/sink vanity space. Sandoval's duvet cover had buttons missing and the duvet looked like it was shredded and the filling falling out. It doesn't look like Ariana ever makes her bed, either. Downstairs, the same pile of boxes has been in the same place every time any scene is filmed there, since the first episode. Even though they have "Ann", who Sandoval claims is part assistant/part housekeeper, the kitchen looks sloppy and dirty. These two are not college kids living in an off-campus rental, away from home for the first time in their lives. They are supposed "mature" adults [who act like children] who should have some sense of cleanliness and organization by this time in their lives. Just adds to the "messiness" of their lives, in my opinion.
  5. At first, I thought he was wearing a toupee, but I'm not so sure now. Either way, Zack's hair looks like it was painted on. It looks like a bad Vegas Elvis impersonator's hair style/wig. Jax, since Season 1 on Vanderpump Rules, always looks super sweaty and greasy, and, like you say, smelly.
  6. I wonder if Kristen had to sell her home to avoid foreclosure? The house Kristen owned is in an expensive area - I can't imagine she's making a whole bunch of money from her not-so-famous t-shirt company and random podcasts. And, I agree - I hate to be superficial, too, but time has not been good to Kristen. She looks tired, run-down and very out of shape. I get that we all change as we age, and, at 40 years old, she, at least, doesn't appear to have a face full of botox and fillers, but she just looks like she's been wrung tight and hung out to dry, as my grandmother used to say. Plus, the super long, very dark hair (extensions, maybe?) looks silly and harsh at the same time.
  7. I agree. I usually don't mind Kyle - there have been a few times over the course of previous seasons where I thought she was way out of line and not a good person, but overall, until this season, she didn't annoy me as much as some of the other ladies. This season, and especially during the reunion, she totally lost me, with all her non-answer answers to the hard questions that she would have been hounding other people about "being honest" about and calling them out for not answering. She dodged, she hemmed and hawed, she danced around and was evasive. Kyle did not give one straight answer about her relationship with Morgan Wade - she completely answered the question she wanted to hear, instead of the question asked. Even when pushed, she left things hanging with her hesitant answers. As far as Kathy - again, I have to go back to their upbringing. I believe their Mom, Big Kathy, drilled into her daughters' heads that they must have a man and they must do whatever it takes to keep a man. And, if something goes wrong in a relationship, it is never the man's fault, it is their fault. I think that Kathy saying she supports Kyle and wants Kyle to be happy is a bunch of bullshit. I think there is A LOT of "gaslighting" that goes on among all the Richards sisters, and I think that Kim and Kyle both fear Kathy almost as much as they feared their mother.
  8. Kathy and Erika are the most insincere, narcissistic, uncaring bitches I have ever seen. A castmate and supposed friend is having some kind of health issue, visibly shaky and and unhealthy looking and you both snark and giggle over it? Kathy saying Sutton was faking, just to get away from the couch and not have to face her?? And, Kathy seemed very disappointed that she didn't get the opportunity to "go in hard" on Sutton? Fuck you, Kathy Hilton!! Erika was almost as bad, chatting away about the holidays, Christmas trees and who the hell cares what else! Erika just seemed like she couldn't care less about Sutton, but, knowing what I know of Erika, I'm just continually disappointed in her, but not surprised at her apparent cold-heartedness and lack of empathy. Kathy Hilton is a spoiled, pampered, selfish person. I also don't think she's very smart. She doesn't seem to know or care about anyone or anything that does not affect her personally. I don't know of any woman in her age (I'm in the same age group), that doesn't have any idea what neuropathy is. And Erika's explanation made it sound like something trivial - neuropathy is no joke. I don't understand why Kathy needed to shuffle her way on to the set like some geriatric "grande dame" (she's only 65 - she was walking like a 90 year old who misplaced her walker). I think Kathy was pissed that Sutton got ill - Sutton's emergency departure distracted from Kathy's appearance on the show, and didn't allow Kathy to show her true selfish bitch self. There was absolutely no reason for Kathy to be on a Season Reunion of a show where she never appeared in during that season, except, maybe for the fact that Andy Cohen really seems to have a major hard-on for the Hilton family, especially Kathy and Paris. What pisses me off even more is that after seeing Kathy's behavior tonight, I am beginning to question my disbelief of Lisa Rinna's description of Kathy's behavior in Aspen last season and my defense of Kathy. I cannot stand Rinna, so anything that makes me question my opinion of Rinna just infuriates me.
  9. Now we know why Schwartz always looks so messy and his hair looks unkempt all the time - Jo is styling it.
  10. LaLa is jealous that her breakup and cheating "scandal" didn't draw the same attention as Ariana's. After all, in LaLa's world, she, too, is a woman scorned, even though she was with Randall for years when he was still married (and, I don't care what Lala says, she knew it and didn't care as long as he kept her in Range Rovers, designer clothes and private jet rides). LaLa thinks she's showing a more vulnerable side but she's still the same volatile, selfish bitch she always has been. LaLa really wants all the press attention and business opportunities that Ariana has gotten, regardless of the fact that Ariana may have some more experience and training as far as acting and dancing goes. I don't think the LaLa has any experience except being a high-end escort. Scheana is seething with jealousy, too. She is desperate to move above VR, despite the fact that. much like LaLa, she's talentless, unless she would be in a movie scene that requires crying on demand or throwing out a petulant pouty look (she's very good at both of those things). Scheana may have heard that DWTS was looking at options from VR, so she just assumed it would be her, since she is an original cast member and has appeared on the show from the start. I think that was the reason for her to take the dance lessons. And, as much as Scheana claims to love Ariana, claims she is a "ride or die" friend to Ariana and that she is not out for herself, I just simple cannot believe any of those statements. Scheana would tap dance over Ariana's dead body to get on DWTS, if she had to. And if the producers told her that she would be eliminated from most filmed scenes of VR if she won't make peace with Sandoval, she would jump from "ride or die friend of Ariana" to claiming loyalty to her original show friend Sandoval.
  11. I agree - Jo is goofy and "out there" - but, I'm kind of liking her as Schwartz's buddy/friend with sometime benefits/whatever. She compliments Schwartz's goofiness. She was the perfect audience for his conversation about space aliens and all that. Schwartz and Craig Conover from Southern Charm should get together to discuss all their weird theories. Then, they could design a line of tin foil hats and wear them on their respective shows. 🤣
  12. I agree. I have never seen someone who always has such a miserable, disagreeable look on her face and is actually miserable and disagreeable all the fucking time. Katie completely sucks all the fun out of room when she enters it, every time.
  13. Christina Ebersole really does have an amazing singing voice - I was hoping to hear more, too! I thought the scene with Abishola cleaning and speaking to Max's urn was adorable. She played it so well - it's nice to see a soft and lighthearted side to Abishola every so often - she really has a beautiful smile.
  14. Makes me think that Mauricio didn't want it played out for the entire RHOBH season as a storyline. Rather, he wanted it to be part of Buying Beverly (his show), so he could put his own spin on it, rather than being portrayed as the villain or bad guy on RHOBH, as would probably have happened. I don't know - I've never watched his show, but I do think there were some mutual agreements made between Mauricio and Kyle prior to filming both shows regarding how to spin/play/portray all of this in their "reality TV" lives.
  15. I don't know how much it pisses Kyle off, because I think she and Mau are also pretty wealthy now, but I know it sure as hell pisses Dorit off to no end, because she and PK are nowhere near wealthy - just putting up a good front.
  16. I wish these women would all realize that they are arguing with each other over the same exact fucking thing they are each saying!!!! "You implied this" "You intimated that" "I was joking when I said that" "I didn't mean that seriously" "Can't you take a joke" "I'm entitled to my opinion" "I'm entitled to defend myself" They are each all saying the SAME EXACT thing, but yet, they argue over it when someone else says it, too.
  17. Yes - that's right. I believe that Kyle referred to LVP as a master chess player, aka Bobby Fisher.
  18. Just had a rewatch of this episode, prior to watching Part 2 - one thing I noticed now that I missed last week - Dorit's total condescension and envy when Crystal clapped back that she has a company that is valued at $100 million dollars. Dorit was so green with jealousy, I'm surprised that her culturally appropriated outfit didn't immediately turn from red to green. Dorit was seething over the fact that Crystal has a profitable business that she doesn't EVER promote on the show, unlike ALL of Dorit's failed businesses.
  19. I thought of the same exact nursery rhyme, especially because it really fits with Dorit, too!! I thought she looked absolutely ridiculous!
  20. It's ridiculous that Marcus seems to be doing a "play by play" commentary like this is a sporting event. He's obnoxious. I hope he and Larsa buy a home somewhere other than Miami and she (and he) are gone for good. They're both rude.
  21. Kyle, Kathy and Kim are all "punishers" - they learned that from their mother. Dorit should apologize to LVP for siccing Kyle on her about Puppygate. LVP is still being punished by Kyle (for what, exactly, is hard to determine). Although Kyle can't seem to get LVP out of her head, after hearing Kyle snarkily commenting about LVP again tonight. Common sense and street smarts are so often lacking in those who have book smarts.
  22. I think that what Garcelle said about Dorit living in her own little bubble to be completely accurate. Dorit obviously travels in a very select social group - one that may be diverse, but one that is also very elitist, financially. So, I would imagine that her social circle is just as superficial as she is, and they are not having deep conversations about social injustices and words/actions that may be objectionable to non-Caucasian people during social gatherings. Dorit is not intentionally ignorant of these things, it's just that she chooses not to know. I can understand that, in a way. Speaking very honestly, as a white person of a certain age, I do try to make a conscious effort to be sensitive and knowledgeable about these things, but it is hard to keep up. Not that I'm defending Dorit, but I can kind of see where she is coming from, and at least seems to give the appearance of learning from her faux-pas.
  23. I seriously don't understand this. I know a lot of nurses and a lot of doctors, and trust them both implicitly, but, in some cases, I actually listen more to my RN friends and their observations than I do some of the doctors I know. And, many of my nurse friends say that some doctors really don't pay attention or get to the root of the patient's problem without consulting the nurses or sometimes, the nurses pointing things out to the doctors. BUT - I recently had a minor surgery done at a day-patient surgical center, and I had BOTH an anesthesiologist (Dr.) and nurse anesthetist as part of the surgical team. Both visited with me before and after my procedure, and were in the OR. I think that Annemarie really likes to obfuscate the truth. Even Kyle said that she thought Annemarie was a doctor.
  24. Oh, from your laptop to Bravo's/the producers' ears!! She is absolutely horrible!
  25. 1,000%!!!! What a fantastic person he is - and so supportive of his wife. I think a lot of the reason why he is so well liked is because he is genuine and down to earth. He's a firefighter and seems proud of his profession. He's not some bullshit investor, entrepreneur or whatever. He doesn't make a lot of money and doesn't seem to care whether he does or not. And, he's not a camera whore like some husbands from other franchises. So happy for Guerdy!!! (Because she is cancer-free, but also because she is married to an amazing guy!)
