  1. But, this is an "Irish" prohibition party - so it's entirely different! 🤣 I don't think alcohol was ever actually prohibited in Ireland, but I do know that US Prohibition nearly decimated Ireland's whiskey industry.
  2. Are you speaking about the reality show or Tom Schwartz? 🤣
  3. 1,000% agree. Exactly!! I doubt if Sunny is still taking the subway (she may have when she was younger and getting around the city, but she doesn't even live in Manhattan anymore, so it's doubtful she's taking a subway anywhere these days.) The subway stations and trains seem to have more and more homeless people on them, most with some type of issue. I also didn't buy her "If I saw someone who was asking for money for food I would give it to them". This poor young man was mentally unstable, and obviously under the influence of some type of drugs. Sunny would have gotten as far away from him as possible, as most of us would do - just as you said, for self-preservation. You just don't know what's going to happen next. Edited to add: Sunny paints a much different picture than eye-witnesses on the train, who said the young man was screaming many different things and throwing trash at other train-riders, he was acting aggressively toward the other passengers. Sunny is really becoming quite insufferable with her holier-than-thou attitude about most things. I am truly empathetic, as you are, but this situation is one that can be frightening and quite disturbing if you have ever experienced anything like this (I have, and it's downright scary. I got off the subway at the first available stop and waited for the next train.) My heart goes out to this young man's family, as well as the young Marine. It's a very, very, very sad story that is bound to get even sadder.
  4. They could open a pizza and pot place....customers can get high and then eat pizza when the "munchies" happen! 🤣 And, on the way out, customers can buy a pizza oven for at home munchies!
  5. I bet Sandoval wished he could have whipped out something else that night, too. Except, which way to whip it when your long-term live in girlfriend and short-term "dip" girl side-fuck are sitting on either side of you?
  6. Those extensions are really bad and the spray tan is even worse! Also - did Kristen get breast implants? Looks like it to me.
  7. Me, too! I adore Ken (and LVP), so it also made me feel kind of sad, because he seemed very confused and not quite sure what he was supposed to do. He was the one who "dipped in" and then "dipped out" tonight - not Rachel!
  8. I thought that whole entire scene was strange. Why would Margaret and Marge Sr. bring up Teresa and Melissa to Lexi's Mom, who was visiting from Manchester? Don't they have anything more interesting to talk about? Ummm, I don't know - how about Lexi's son? Grandparents can monopolize an entire lunch or dinner talking about their grandchildren (speaking from experience, here!). How about talking about Manchester and/or the differences between England and Ireland? Poor Lexi's Mom looked all confused. I wonder if she even knows who Teresa and Melissa are! Margaret and Marge Sr. are definitely cut from the same cloth, and it's a cheap, tawdry material.
  9. Probably the same thing I think - like, Why do designers create these type of dresses for young women? I'm no prude, but there is a way for a young girl to look "sexy" (for lack of a better word) without looking like hookers. Sigh~~I guess I am now officially old, because I sound like my grandmother did!
  10. I've read a couple of articles about Jaiden's Mom (because I invest waaay too much time on this show!). Apparently, she's been in quite a bit of trouble with the law, arrested on different charges several times and has spent time in prison (after Jaiden's birth). I can't remember if she is now out of prison, but, as far as I can remember, she has no communication at all with him, per court orders. This has been going on for quite a while. I just don't understand why, when Jaiden is now 16, and Rachel is on the show, she conveniently wants to adopt him at this point. Why not before, when he was younger and there was no spotlight on them? It's just kind of sad, imo.
  11. You don't live in New Jersey, do you? 🤣🤣 Bridesmaids dresses, prom dresses, pretty much most gowns in the "Junior" size section of any formal wear shop/boutique here all look very similar to what the Guidice girls were wearing. I've seen pictures of friends' daughters/granddaughters going to 8th grade grad dances and parties wearing dresses that are teeny-tiny and very tight - forget about high school prom aged girls. I guess that's what's in style for some.
  12. Jenn's about 8 years too late for that. Milania was a natural from the beginning, at age 3 (?). She was a holy terror in her pre-school days, and kind of cute and funny (if disrespectful and sassy) from ages 7-11. If I recall, she wasn't so bad from after that, and really wasn't shown a whole lot. As you said - Olivia isn't a natural and she seems to be coached and prompted prior to filming with her mother. I also feel that the subject matter that they have her filming is totally inappropriate for an 11 year old - natural or not. She should not be discussing any of this and her mother should not be discussing this with her, either.
  13. Teresa was definitely NOT happy with that phone call being recorded and televised (and neither was Louie). She had to do some fast thinking and fast talking there to cover for their on camera screw-up - it probably took Teresa from Exit 150 on the Parkway to Exit 105 (if you're familiar with the GSP, you'll know how far that is and how long it can take!)
  14. I wish I knew when they filmed Teresa's shower at Brando's. I would have been planted outside that restaurant to get some pictures! I've eaten there several times - the food is delicious!! It's definitely a special occasion place because it's pretty pricey, but it's one of my local favorites! Plus - no way was Teresa surprised. She was wearing a very "bridal shower" type dress, and when she got out of the car, she way too excited for just a brunch with her daughters. Besides the fact that Brando's in Asbury Park is a good hour to 90 minutes from her house in Montville, depending on traffic (summer weekend traffic on the Garden State Parkway is horrible!!) - why would they have a brunch so far away from where they live? Lastly, if anyone knows Asbury Park, street parking is horrendous there, especially around Brando's. Pretty convenient to have a spot waiting for her, right in front of the restaurant. Did anyone notice if Dina Manzo was there? I thought I may have spotted her in the group shots, but I'm not sure.
  15. Didn't that seem like a very large shoe for someone of Grover's height/size? I actually thought it was Malcolm's shoe when Gemma barged in with it.
  16. Frank is just an aged-out roid head who may have been considered hot and a good catch in his youth, but is now facing the reality that he is neither hot nor a good catch anymore. He's becoming paunchy, not attractive, disgraced lawyer who is hanging on, by a thread, to his faded youth. Frank cannot stand that he is no longer the main focus in Dolores' life (other than her kids). He wants to have his cake and eat it, too (Britney and Dolores). He doesn't want Dolores to be happy and, primarily, he doesn't want to lose whatever paycheck he has from Bravo. I don't think he's going to be very successful at selling marijuana. I actually used to like Frank - I thought he was amusing and sometimes pretty comical. But, this season, seeing him act like a jealous teenager/baby over Dolores' new life and love is disappointing. He's showing that he is just as much of a man-child as Joe Gorga.
  17. This is just a small rant, but I cannot stand when someone refers to in-laws as "sister-in-laws" or "brother-in-laws". It should be sisters-in-law or brothers-in-law. I get kind of cringe-y over stupid, lazy grammar mistakes like this, so Melissa saying it made me cringe even more than I usually do, seeing her not so great looking talking heads.
  18. Well - there was that supposed "drunk" comment from Melissa in Ireland about drunk-dialing her ex. Even Teresa picked up on that one. I wonder what Joe had to say when he saw that scene - can't imagine he was too thrilled.
  19. I'm sorry - I don't usually comment on young kids, but that daughter should not be on television. It's a shame that she is so involved in her parents' relationship and that Jennifer allows her to be filmed doing that.
  20. Whoopi was feeling pretty testy today. When she made the announcement about the writers' strike, Whoopi kind of misspoke (as she often does), saying that they "don't have writers here". Joy corrected her, saying that they usually do have writers but they don't right now, and Whoopi snapped back at her about that. Then, when discussing the Met Gala and Alyssa wanted to jump off the "Karl Lagerfeld is a bad person" discussion and get into the fashions, Whoopi told Alyssa to basically back off from doing Whoopi's job of moving the show along. Alyssa was visibly upset that she was being publicly admonished by Whoopi. I wonder if Whoopi's testiness because of the writers' strike and they will be kind of going "off the cuff" for now, so she may actually have to do some work and research and come up with her own words, instead of reading off the teleprompter.
  21. I think that Margaret may be just a little concerned about Laura. Laura is not a housewife, so she has no contractual commitment to not speaking about anything that Margaret may have said to her about any of the other housewives. She can say whatever she wants to whomever she wants. And, it seems that she is doing that here and there. I think that's why Margaret gets very defensive when speaking about Laura and tries to shut down any conversation about her immediately. I truly think that Margaret does have an "arsenal" if you will. Stupid word, but I think Margaret knows a lot of gossip, whether true or not. Laura is to Margaret what Kim D. was to Teresa. Except I think that since Kim D. was a "friend of", she didn't really spill all she knew. Since Laura was never even a "friend of", Margaret has to know that and feel some sense of trepidation regarding her scorned ex-friend. There's an old saying - a secret is no longer a secret when more than one person knows, or another saying - three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead. Margaret would have been wise to keep her mouth shut and not spill what she knows to anyone.
  22. To me, Sandoval has always had shifty eyes. It's like he's always looking around for someone to call him out on his bullshit.
  23. I was actually thinking adderall. James was exhibiting all the signs of an adderall high. (But, cocaine is possible, too.) Either way, I think he was definitely NOT sober. That would make sense about the food truck scene, but I do wonder about it. It is either that they shot it after the scandal news came out, or, Sandoval is much smarter than we give him credit for, by setting the stage for his total break-up with Ariana, which he claims was going to happen after the Reunion. At the time of that scene, Sandoval was already sleeping with Raquchel, I believe.
  24. Excuse me - wouldn't that actually be a little "bitch-boy"?? 🤣
  25. I guess I'm just too old or out of touch with modern fashion, but this dress looks so hideous to me. The fabric looks cheaper than Luann De Lessep's blue sparkly reunion dress and I don't think the dress does either of these women (is that LaLa Kent from VPR?) any favors in the bodice/bust area. There is just too much going on - the puffy, ruched sleeves, the cut outs, the side ruching, lack of bust support and horribly contrasting colors. If any of you are Project Runway fans, I would love to hear Nina Garcia, Michael Kors' (current and past judges) thoughts on this. I just asked my daughter-in-law (she's in her late 20's) what she thought of the dress and she thought it was great. I was surprised because my DIL is a more conservative and not flashy dresser. If you look on Envy's website, there are quite a few cut-out dresses similar to this, so I guess it's a thing. I'll bet we'll be seeing lots of young girls with similar iterations of this style for junior/senior prom dresses.
