  1. Joe Gorga was as sober as a judge, and just faking a high, as you said. (I think that a lot of those guys were faking it, too). I also think that again, Joe Gorga is just perpetuating this "fued" because he is really, deep down, totally jealous of his sister and probably has been for most of his life. I think Nonno was probably very hard on Joe growing up, while Teresa was the apple of her father's eye. Teresa becoming a breakout star on RHONJ was just another point of envy for him.
  2. Paul's Mom is awesome! Loved her comment about "Do they think they look good?" - made me spew my iced tea! Plus, her disdainful comment to Dolores - "THIS is your ex-husband?" 🤣 I think that the dynamic of the bridal party changed because Bravo decided to make a special episode(s) of the wedding. There were probably stipulations that a certain number of housewives needed to be focused in order to get the whole thing filmed (and, probably supplemented by production to a degree.)
  3. I thought that was kind of weird, too. Plus, whatever happened to that other lady who was Marge's housekeeper (I can't remember her name). Shouldn't she have been the one setting up for the guys' night? I also find Joe B. to be smarmy, and also, a bit of a shit stirrer, like his wife. Of course, he had to bring up, in front of Joe Gorga, that Bill Aydin was asked to be in the wedding. And, agree 100% on the "disheveled drug addict" comment!! If anyone constantly looks disheveled (and high) it's Joe Benigno. To me, he always looks sloppy and like he needs a shower.
  4. Incredible means impossible to believe, so I believe that Jackie used the term correctly. That was one of the worst things I've seen any housewife wear. She looked like a 1980's 42nd Street hooker. Trashy and cheap looking.
  5. I agree - the Reunions now consist of the housewives (and Andy) bringing up stuff that was reported in gossip blogs, podcasts and stuff said on their social media accounts, along with who's following who or who unfollowed whom. We also have the housewives providing copies of texts, excerpts from interviews and whatever other kind of "receipts" they need to prove their point, instead of a rehash of the bickering and squabbles of the season. Nothing ever seems to be resolved anymore - just more things for them to fight about.
  6. Teresa has often been "unhinged" at the reunions, and displaying a lot of anger and "vitriol" as Andy put it. @Baltimore Betty gives just one of the many examples - probably the most unhinged reunion moment from Teresa. Actually, though, I think there was sooo much more to that, because at the time of Teresa pushing Andy, she knew that Danielle Staub had been in contact with Melissa about their family issues and Melissa and Joe were trying to get on the show by way of that, behind Teresa's back. So, in my opinion,, her anger at Danielle Staub was kind of justified, not that I'm condoning any violence directed toward Danielle or Andy. I actually think that was the beginning of the end of the relationship between Teresa, her brother and Melissa. But - I digress ~~ sorry! But, Teresa also brings the headlines, the social media clicks, the followers (who either love her or love to hate her), so she knows her job, and does it well. Andy loves that about her, even if he may secretly despise her. He loves the angry flare-ups and constant divide between housewives. He loves confrontational attacks. So, Teresa does what's expected and keeps her job. I also think that Andy is not as enamored of Melissa and Joe Gorga as he is of Teresa, even with all her unhinged-ness and volatility.
  7. Sara doesn't usually annoy me, but today, she did! She was fan-girling so hard on Ray Romano - even Whoopi seemed to be annoyed with Sara's constant interruptions and talking over the other hosts. Whoopi touched Sara's arm several times, giving her a "slow your roll" kind of look. The movie "Somewhere in Queens" looks incredible with a great cast, but Sara was raving on and on and on like it was the BEST film ever written in history. It was a shame she kept interrupting because I really like Ray Romano and wanted to see/hear him talk. He was so gracious about it, though - he's really a great guy and an excellent guest!
  8. Maybe because to someone like Raquchel, who appears to have the IQ of a sandflea, Sandoval seems like a MENSA member.
  9. My only curiosity about the reunion (at this point) is-will Frank and/or Paul be there? And, will they finally have it out over who's getting to keep receiving a Bravo paycheck Dolores?
  10. Regarding the comment from Teresa about Antonia, I agree - it should not have been said, in the first place and secondl, it should have been edited out. This is classic Teresa, who more often than not, doesn't think things through before she answers questions. In my opinion, Rachel Fuda never should have asked the question about the Gorga/Guidice kids. The women constantly say the kids are off-limits, so why would Rachel ask such a leading question about the kids? I'm absolutely not defending Teresa, but I think that what she was trying to say was that Milania's feelings were very hurt that her cousin wasn't at her Sweet 16 and so Milania is holding some resentment or bad feelings toward Antonia. Again, the response to the question could have and shoud have been worded differently, but we're dealing with Teresa here. Teresa did not really get a chance to complete her sentence before Melissa jumped in and all over Teresa. Of course, Melissa should defend her daughter and voice the legitimate reason why Antonia didn't go to the party, but maybe she should have let Teresa finish her comment before going in on Teresa. I'm seriously just so over the Gorga family squabble and the rest of these women trying to perpetuate it with leading questions, nasty remarks and stupid innuendo.
  11. I also see the same thing, except it also happens when Margaret is within earshot or involved. Then, it seems like Melissa backs off from Jennifer.
  12. Miraval was visited by the New Jersey Housewives and their husbands several seasons ago, as well as the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County, so of course, they would be perfetly fine with leaking information about Sandoval, another D-list Bravolebrity (who is making A-list headlies) staying there. Other individual Real Housewives have also stayed there, including Sonja Morgan (when recovering from plastic surgery), Carole Radziwill and Heather Thompson. Miraval is not a mental health care facility. It is a zen spa-like upscale resort with some interesting programs for "spiritual healing" - equine therapy, crystal readings, astrology and even some kind of healing through bee-keeping. From Miraval's website: "From beekeepers to tarot card readers to artists and chefs, our skilled specialists illuminate a path to a better you. They listen closely and guide you on a custom journey that breaks down barriers and invites your best self to shine." I don't know if Raquel is also there, but I was wondering if this is where she was or they were headed when the paps caught the recent photos of Tom and Raquel at the airport (after she supposedly spent the night at his house).
  13. This is actually how Real Houswives first started, with Real Housewives of Orange County. The show was more documentary style, showing the lives of women who lived "behind the gates" of an upscale community (Coto de Caza). It was created and produced by Scott Dunlap, who also lived there and was amazed at what he observed and lifestyle of these overly indulgent, bored housewives and their familes. I thought it was great, just the way it was, and loved that they added NJ and NY soon after the first season of RHOC was aired on Bravo, because the lifestyles of these women were all so different. It was actually nice seeing the NJ women doing normal things, albeit, in big homes and often, in an over the top way, but that's what made it interesting. Whatever we may think, there are a lot of women all over the country just like the ones we watch on Real Housewives. Even though they live in large homes, drive fancy cars, wear designer clothes and are well off, they do normal, everyday things like cooking, running errands, going to the gym, out to lunch/dinner, etc. They have conflicts with their friends, they gossip, argue and sometimes drink too much. THAT is what I would really like to see, instead of the seemingly production set ups over and over again. Show me split stories of Teresa and Melissa making "Sunday gravy/sauce". Show me Dolores dealing with not having the shoes she needs at her house because she left them at Paul's. Show me Marge and Jen Fessler sitting, drinking coffee and gossiping all day in Marge's "Alice in Wonderland" themed crazy house. Show me the differences in parenting styles between Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral. Everyday life is so much more interesting, at least in my opinion. Once Bravo figured out that the Housewives franchises were great for TV (and the Bravo network), they kept adding more cities, but by that time, I think the drama was more producer driven and the women they hired all were very camera savvy and more camera ready, with professional hair/makeup all the time and being willing to get down and dirty to become famous. I watch now because it's just like a soap opera - you may not like the characters, but you want to see them either get their comeuppance or redemption, but I LOVED the original format without the producer driven drama.
  14. Is it wrong of me to actually feel just a teeny, tiny bit sad for Rachel? I feel like she wanted fame and celebrity so badly (given all the backstory on how she finagled and wrangled her way onto the show), that she let it all consume her and now, this happens. Clearly, her thirst for fame caused Rachel to make A LOT of poor decisions, starting with hooking up with James and ending with being one of the most hated reality celebs ever. It's a shame. I hope her parents work with her, and get her as far out of Los Angeles as possible, for the rest of her life.
  15. I think that Sandoval vehemently denied sleeping with Miami Girl....at first. When Kristen was on her own Sandoval revenge crazy train, she somehow convinced Miami Girl to come to SUR and confront him. Sandoval ran away from the confrontation (and his bartender shift) like a frightened child. Kristen was standing by, gleefully waiting with open arms, for Ariana to break up with Sandoval and he would come running to her. Didn't happen. My opinion is that he totally slept with her, but I don't remember if he ever finally admitted it, but Jax confirmed it and I think Scwartz basically admitted it, too - by not denying it.
  16. Seriously - Tom Sandoval has a "team"?? He really is a legend in his own mind. What does this guy make in income and what is his net worth afte paying everyone? Hopefully, Ariana and Sandoval didn't mix incomes and savings, as I think she's a little smarter and wiser in all things.
  17. While I could totally see Brock hooking up with Rachel, I can also totally see Scheana and Brock leaking this so-called story to give them a little attention boost. Scheana needs to be relevant, even in the throes of someone else's life drama. I agree with the premise that Brock and Scheana's marriage will be over before everyone has paid off their credit card bills for attending that destination wedding. Scheana and LaLa can be happy neighbors in Palm Springs, raising their girls together as single Moms (that is - until they have a fight, which will inevitably happen).
  18. I was wondering the same thing, but based on what Melissa said last night on WWHL, it is the same rumor. If not, Melissa certainly has a penchant for backseats!! If it is the same rumor, then Marge needs to update her arsenal - this shit all came to light before she was on the show and I think it's past expiration date. Love that comment about Marge and Kim D - totally would not surprise me if that is where Marge may be getting a lot of her information. I'm so glad I don't live in that part of NJ any more - what a hotbed of unsubstantiated rumors, gossip and innuendo!! I'll take my laidback, relaxed beach vibe part of NJ over that any day!
  19. I agree with you, completely. I think that if there was a way that Teresa could have invited Joe without Melissa, she would have. But, as they say - you can choose your friends, but not your family - and that, unfortunately in some cases, includes immediate in-laws. However, the whole Melissa's Mom and sisters being invited - that would totally be an obligation invite. As far as Margaret- I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE that someone calls her out on this shit once someone spills the beans that Margaret was holding onto that bit of old gossip about Melissa. Margaret, and only Margaret, should be held accountable. I've always believed that she does have an "arsenal" of dirt on everyone, and drops these little gossip bombs when and where she needs to. Unfortunately, I think that Margaret will get another pass from some of the ladies. At least, for now, Teresa isn't the one who is caught up in the middle of the gossip repeating drama.
  20. Jen Aydin did Teresa no favors by chiming in on the conversation (yet again) about Teresa's wedding and the Gorga family drama. You know somehow or another, in the game of Housewife telephone, that Joe Gorga is going to hear that his sister only invited them because it was an "obligation", (Although, not a "technicality", as Melissa's sister told Teresa regarding her invitation to the christening back in Season 3) even though Teresa didn't say that and actually said that was wrong. Jen Fessler is like a friggin' dog with a bone about Teresa's wedding. I actually had some small hope that Melissa and Teresa would get along on this trip, and maybe if these other people didn't continually stir up shit, they would have. Give it up already, Jen Fessler - move on - but, please, NO MORE about your love life. I don't need the gory details! I do wonder if that James Gandolfini story is true or not. The only other person who could confirm or deny is no longer with us. If it is true, I am just a wee bit jealous! I wonder if Teresa had someone come to her house while she was recovering from Covid to do a lip injection boost so that they would settle down a bit a couple of weeks time for her wedding. I also had to laugh at all their dinner outfits. Not one of them seemed to match the others in style and/or "dress code" appopriateness. Teresa looked like a Swan Lake ballerina and the rest of them went from somewhat dressy to super casual. I also noticed Dolores' red-soled Louboutins when she just had a conversation with Paul's sister-in-law about NOT wearing super high heels because of all the cobblestone streets in Dublin. I bet they will have some kind of filmed "guys night" while the women are in Ireland and we will see Frank there. Paul will probably NOT be there because his brother and sister-in-law are visiting from Ireland. And, of course, there will be the requisite bitching about Paul not wanting to be around the other guys and more whining from Joe Gorga about Teresa and Louie - until Louie shows up late, and then, Joe Gorga will just sit and pout or bang his fists on a table. He really is a petulant child.
  21. I HATE that these women feel the need to try to fit in with stupid phrases that are supposedly common wherever they travel to. And, they all try to mimic whatever is the local accent and fail miserably. They just prove themselves to be ignorant tourists and the locals are either cringing or laughing at them behind their backs. I think they would probably get offended if someone from another country walked up to them in New Jersey and started shouting "Fuhgeddaboutit, youse guys" and asked if they are all involved with organized crime because they are NJ Italians. I remember Melissa showing her complete and utter ignorance of even her own heritage when they were in Italy several seasons ago and she screamed to a lady "Buona sera, senorita" - first, it was the daytime, and second, "senorita" is Spanish. I wish they would all just be who they are, women from New Jersey who are not very well traveled. Just admit that to local folks and they will usually embrace you.
  22. Jennifer Aydin - "I will NEVER, NEVER, EVER repeat what was said-it's so horrible." "Oh wait - Danielle is asking-let me whisper it in front of the camera, so no one hears it." 😂 Melissa should stop messing around with her face - her lips are way overdone and her face looks very strange on WWHL. She was so much prettier when she only had several nosejobs.
  23. That's exactly what I mean. He could have shown a little humility, a little remorse - use a little bit of good judgment and a little bit of empathy while speaking about all of this. Or - not speak about it at all. That's where the narcissism and egoism comes into play. He just doesn't see beyond his own self. He's sooo fucking intent at looking at the mirror and only seeing himself, rather than the shadow of anyone else standing next to/behind him. Of course, he's gong to answer questions, but he doesn't need to go into bombastic details. There are better ways to describe the situation. He's turning into another James - each person he is with at this minute is "the biggest love of all loves of my life" kind of bullshit.
  24. Regardless of who cheated on whom, or with whom in the past, present or the inevitable future, Sandoval seems to have perfected how to be the perfect example of a douchebag: https://pagesix.com/2023/04/11/tom-sandoval-details-magnetic-first-kiss-with-raquel-leviss/ What a narcissistic, egotistical scumbag to go on a podcast describing how "magnetic" or "magical" or whatever the fuck he said about a kiss with someone other than his at the time live-in partner. I have never, ever liked Sandoval but he's sinking to even lower lows than I thought imaginable.
