  1. If any young royal person were to wear Kara Saun and Laurance's dress in real life, they would be ripped in the gossip columns the next day. I thought their gown was more costume-y than Viktor and Kayne's. Viktor and Kayne's was more "wearable" to me than Kara Saun and Laurance's. If Viktor and Kayne didn't use the corset, there wouldn't have been that much of Viktor's work in the finished gown, but they would have been safe. Interesting that both Viktor and Kayne thought about removing the corset, but neither wanted to mention it to the other because they wanted to spare each other's feelings. I thought that Anna should have gone home. I thought her and Brittany's dress was pedestrian, ill fitting and very bland in color.
  2. I feel like several teams used their own interpretation of the challenge. I don't think it was for mythical or imaginary queens. Nor was it for a supposed "queen" of music. It was about royalty - young and modern royalty.
  3. I also watched "That's Life", and I enjoyed it, but mostly because I loved Paul Sorvino. Heather was okay - from what I remember, she was young and perky. She did not, however, fit the role of the stereotypical middle class New Jersey Italian daughter stepping away from her familial expectations and changing her life. She seemed just a little too "polished", if that makes sense. I'm thinking that Heather now feels that she may have cheated herself out of a career by opting to be a stay-at-home Mom to her four kids and an upscale society wife to a "high end" plastic surgeon. My opinion is that while she is/was an adequate actress, I don't think she was going to be accepting Oscars or Emmys any time soon. I guess she is now questioning herself, wondering if she could have, indeed, "had it all" - home life, children and an acting career. Something tells me that would not have sat well with Terry. However, I do feel that she really lashed out at Taylor because of her own frustrations with her own life, and not directly with what Taylor was trying to do, which was get Heather interested in the movie role. I also question Taylor's motives with this. I wonder if she did promise, in a way, that she could, maybe, get Heather for the film? Not that Heather's a big name or anything, but I think her Housewives popularity could be something of interest for certain directors and producers. t
  4. Shannon loves a funny costume, doesn't she? The saloon girl thing was cheesy, but it did make me laugh! That dude ranch looked beautiful. I wonder how many other guests were there at the time of filming - it looked as if the housewives may have been the only guests there, or were kept far away from the other guests. I wonder what the employees of the dude ranch thought of these women, parading around in their short skirts and designer "cowboy" boots and hats. I guess they get a lot of that, because of the nature of the business, but I just can't with all the supposed western gear displaying designer logos. (Is there a logo that Heather doesn't mind wearing? Every scene she's in, there is an LV, Gucci, Prada, Chanel or something logo somewhere - even in her son's bedroom - there was an LV comforter on the bed) It will be interesting to see how this trip plays out, especially since Gina won't have Emily to enourage her to be a shit stirrer. I can't stand Gina, but I think she is looking very nice so far this season. The one interview look with the two piece grey/black outfit - she looks flawless - her skin is glowing and her hair and makeup are on point!
  5. That was some speech Heather gave at the end of the episode. She basically blamed Taylor for all the wrongs in the world because Taylor had the nerve to look up Heather's IMDB. While Taylor really should not have commented or belittled Heather's acting resume (because Taylor has nothing except RH shows on her own IMDB), Heather acted like Taylor did something horrible. Heather is very insecure about her acting career - it's as if she knows it isn't as stellar as she would like it to be. She should be proud of whatever work she's done, but I feel like she's very dissatisfied with where she is right now in her life.
  6. I remember those nights, as well and am soooo glad I'm past that! I didn't get the whole thing with the glass, either. I think that Taylor may have actually just not wanted to get an accidental glimpse of herself in the glass' reflection. WTF did she do to her face?????
  7. That's fine and correct!! But, when someone uses the word "cheers" in place of what should probably be "toast", as in "What are we toasting (cheersing)?" or "Let's toast (cheers) to that" or "Shall we toast (cheers) to you guys", it just grates on my ears and brain!!
  8. I agree, 1000%!!!! Much like you, I can be bawdy and sometimes even bordering on crude, but all of that was too much. Plus, seeing Gary come out of his cabin naked (blurred, but still naked) was something I didn't need to see, either. Regarding the comment about Mads having her period - I think that Mads made that snarky reply to Alex when he asked her why she looked bloated at dinner on the ship. After she made the comment about having her period, she backtracked and said that she wasn't, so who knows. If she was, that is really GROSS and wouldn't Gary have noticed something?? Gary is just so disgusting in so many ways, yet he thinks he's Don Juan and Adonis all rolled into one. I don't know what women see in him. He is a consummate flirt and seems to know just how to make a woman feel "special" - only issue is, he does that with every single woman on the ship, all the time, so really, none of this women are special. To him, they are just another notch on his bedpost.
  9. I thought the same thing. His voice was very familiar, too. I think he may have been on either Below Deck or Below Deck Med.
  10. Apparently so, and it drives me crazy! My 20 and 30-something children and their friends say this all the time. I think we saw Bonnie rummaging around in Daisy's cabin looking for a bathing suit to wear in the hot tub and found this suit of Daisy's. She obviously never made it to the hot tub because she was too inebriated. Seemed weird that Daisy put Bonnie into the main guest cabin while wearing that suit, but the next time we see Bonnie exiting the cabin, she was wearing cut offs and a sweatshirt. I gues she must have woken up in the middle of the night and changed.
  11. At the very least, Ryan will come, and act as their trail guide. Big emphasis on the word "ACT" - I don't know if he knows which end of a horse is the front. (He did know the difference between a mule and a donkey - I wonder if he knows the difference between himself or his mother and a jackass.)
  12. I think that Ryan (Tamra's creepy son) has watched too many episodes of Yellowstone and is hoping to become Rip Wheeler. Maybe there is a "train station" near the ranch he works. (If you watch Yellowstone, you'll know what I mean!!) 🤣
  13. Heather would be better off trying to go the Hallmark Christmas movie route. Kyle Richards made a Christmas movie for Peacock and it was a cute, typically formulaic story. Heather's acting skills would be best suited for that type of fluffy, feel good entertainment, and I say this as someone who really enjoyed the network show she co-starred in with Paul Sorvino years ago.
  14. I agree with your Bluto comparison. Their Halloween costumes should be as Bluto and Olive Oyl. Or, if you wanted to go Disney, Rachel could wear her reunion gown and they could go as Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. That was an interesting article - seems like they've been fame seekers for a while now - even in their own little corner of Bergen County.
  15. I'm sorry to say this, but I have a hard time looking at John Fuda. He is really most unfortunate looking*. Who would want to pay any money for him to send them a Cameo message? Also - I didn't know about the name change - when did that happen? *Thank you to Elle Woods for giving us a "nice" way of saying that someone is ugly as sin. 🤣
  16. So glad Project Runway is back and thrilled with most of the designers. I thought Fabio's look was beautiful on his model (not so great for everyone, though, with all that side boob exposure). Kayne's was dramatic and loved the look. Everyone else was just sort of "meh" to me, or only saw it for a few seconds, so can't make a comment. Nora's dress was a poor fabric and color choice, but I liked that she referenced the flowers in her previous look. I would have preferred her to Kara Saun. Kara Saun's look was dated, poorly designed and overdone. I also felt like she kind of manipulated Nora into trading models with her. I like Kera Saun to a degree, but I feel like she can play a little sneaky or dirty and it's too early in the season to even think about doing that. Sorry to see Nora go, but I don't think she minded too much. She seems like a very kind person. Bishme made me sad and I didn't love his look. I hope he can work through his grief or it's going to be a long season.
  17. Alicia's outfit made me think that she used the same stylist that used to dress Alyssa Milano when she hosted Project Runway Allstars.
  18. Yes - Paul was born in Ireland - most of his family still resides there. His mother and sisters visited the castle the ladies were staying in when they went to Ireland. Or, his estranged wife is old school Catholic.
  19. And, that would be ACTUAL "Reality TV". I would almost pay to watch that.
  20. I could be wrong, but somewhere amidst all the fighting and yelling, I thought I heard Louie ask John Fuda to show him proof (allegedly what was in the envelope). I think Teresa was also yelling "Show us proof". John Fuda never once made a motion to open the envelope or take out the paperwork inside. Didn't Rachel say that a "very reliable source", or something to that effect, is who told them that Louie investigated Jaiden's mom to locate her in jail? So, they all get their information and "arsenals" from some anonymous, "reliable" sources?? What makes them any better than Louie at doing their own investigations and research on each other - at least he named a supposed source of getting info.
  21. Frank Catania was a real estate attorney (handling mostly home sales and closings here in NJ). He was disbarred in August, 2017 with an effective date of November, 2017. He was disbarred for mismanaging money in clients' real estate escrow accounts (basically, I think he embezzled funds from these accounts for his own use). Teresa entered jail in January of 2015, so it is possible that Frank probably handled some real estate transactions for Joe Gorga during the time before her incarceration, especially given that Joe Gorga was/is a supposed home developer/builder. I can't imagine in what world a lawyer with a real estate specialty or background would correctly advise a client on a possible FBI investigation, but, we're talking about people who are not the brightest bulbs in the lamp here. I guess it's possible that Joe Gorga may have asked Frank, in a friend-to-friend conversation about it, but Frank, Sr., should have referred Joe Gorga to an attorney with that type of expertise. I think there was no real attorney/client privelege there - Frank said that just to sound important. So, the timeline fits, but I think there is more (or possibly, less) to this story than Frank and Joe Gorga revealed.
  22. I think that Louie suffers from a lot of low self-esteem. My husband has a friend like Louie - he's always making stupid, untrue comments either because he wants people to think of him differently, or because he needs to puff himself up to people. He's been this way his whole life. Occasionally, someone will call him out on a blatant lie or fabrication and then, he backtracks or says he mis-spoke. Underneath all of that puffery and bullshit, he is actually a kind guy who would do anything for you - it's just getting past all that. Sometimes, I cannot stand him, but we don't see him often, so it's not so bad. It's so obvious that the self-esteem is not there. I think that's Louie's problem. He's always trying to prove he's bigger, better, more well connected, or just "more than" the next guy. He takes it too far too often, though. I also think this low self-esteem issue is what caused him to be controlling in his previous relationships (and possibly this one, too). He feels more powerful or smarter than his previous wife/partners, so that feeds his self-esteem and ego. I am honestly nervous for Teresa because even as bad as she can be, she doesn't deserve the kind of hurt that I see possibly coming in the future to her. Actually, no one does. She seems so in love with Louie, it's kind of scary.
  23. I've said this before - basically, Melissa and Teresa are the same exact person, deep inside. They are both envious of others and want to be the center of ALL the attention, all the time. The only difference is that Melissa is better at hiding this and playing "nice" on camera. Teresa is the epitome of "no filter". Teresa was fine with Melissa until she married Teresa's brother. Then, Teresa's brother had to focus attention on his own wife and family, rather than showering attention on Teresa (Teresa was obviously not getting all the attention she craved or needed from her own husband). Teresa didn't like that and resented Melissa and Joe because of it. Melissa also was used to being the "baby" in her family, getting a lot of attention - her sisters are several years older than her - she was spoiled by her Dad, when he was around, and liked to draw attention to herself. She's admitted that. Coming into another family where the attention was NOT on her was not easy. It's been shown that Nonno and Nonna didn't like her and preferred their own daughter's company (and cookies). Now comes the show. Teresa gets on this show and becomes a so-called celebrity. Even family party scene involving the Guidice's and Gorga's, Melissa is shown preening and prancing in the background, trying to get camera time. I'm convinced the Gorga's (Melissa, specifically) went behind Tre's back to get on the show, regardless of Andy says. Other producers of the show have confirmed this. Teresa views this as just another way of Melissa drawing attention away from Tre and onto Melissa, so more resentment. They became popular, so Tre's resentment grew even more. Melissa is envious of Tre's popularity and pseudo-celebrity. Tre is now envious of Meilissa' popularity and pseudo-celebrity. That envy eats away at Tre day after day after day. Melissa's envy of Teresa does the same. I think they thought that when Tre went to jail, they would become the "stars" of the show and Bravo would forget about Tre. That didn't happen. She came back and became more popular than ever. So, that eats away and Melissa, and to a degree, Joe. Teresa needs to let all the old resentments go, Melissa needs to not want to be Queen Bee all the time. As far as I can see, that is the only way they can get through this. Louie doesn't help the situation and neither does Joe.
  24. I'm no Teresa apologist, but, she didn't really drive away all those people. Dina left because of Danielle Staub, understandably. When Danielle was out of the picture, Dina came back for another season, but then she had to deal with that stupid asshole, Jim Marchese, and his even stupider wife, Amber. Caroline and Teresa had their differences and Teresa was very cruel to Caroline, but I think Caroline left mainly because she had gotten her own Bravo show - Manzo'd with Children. If that show didn't happen, I think that Caroline may have stuck it out for a few more seasons, but I doubt she would have been in it for the long haul. Caroline doesn't back down from a fight, but she also doesn't tolerate stupid bullshit and that was what the show was becoming. It did appear that Jacqueline left because of Teresa (not showing up to that one reunion - big blow up fight the next season), but again, I think she and Chris basically left because they were bankrupt, he lost his business and they were losing their NJ home to foreclosure. Interestingly (and sadly), Chris and Jac no longer speak to Caroline and Dina, I believe. So, while the Gorga/Guidice/Ruelas family breakdown is happening in front of our eyes, the Laurita/Manzo family breakdown happened off-scree and seems much worse. I wonder if the show had anything at all to do with that. ETA: I know the Caroline and Dina don't speak because of Caroline defending Tommy with that whole situation, but I just wonder about why none of them speak to each other anymore. I think that the Wakile's were not asked back because they were basically boring, and the only thing going for them was also perpetuating the "family feud" thing. The only good thing about the Wakile's was Rosie, who actually made peace with Teresa and got along quite well with Joe Guidice.
  25. Instead of the "two nice Jewish girls" (per Andy) making a quick appearance in Reunion Part 2 - I would have liked to see Bo Dietl and "ex-friend" Laura show up. I think they both got more airtime mentions than Jackie Goldschneider and Jen Fessler. At least, maybe they could have cleared up a few things.
