  1. I think that Dr. Dubrow may be his own next client on his "Botched" show...he's going to have to consult his partner, Dr. Nassif, about having his foot removed from his mouth after making those completely derogatory remarks about construction workers or, maybe he'll need a more extensive surgery to have a construction's worker's foot removed from his ass!! What a sanctimonious, narcissitic, conceited, self-absorbed, high and mighty "penis" (to use a "medical" term...) And, Heather isn't any better!! Talk about a match made in heaven!!!
  2. Did anyone else think that not 10 minutes before Christian said that, he had snuck away to Vicki's pool grotto to smoke some weed?
  3. So...now Shannon is a boxer, according to Heather?? MIGHT be???
  4. Bali-nition music, Vicki??? Come on, she just spent time there - she shouldn't know it's Balinese?
  5. I didn't even notice that!!! She really is a "fashion don't", isn't she??
  6. I am convinced that Vicki has a carnival mirror in her bedroom, only the kind that makes you look tall and skinny, instead of short and fat...why oh why can't she hire a stylist, or at least, have an honest friend who will tell her that skin-tight and plunging necklines are never a good look for her?
  7. Why does Terry not get mad at Eddie for yelling out "Show us how you ride Terry"??? I thought that was pretty offensive, too...especially when kids are around!!
  8. I think that they are already integrated in. If you notice, some of the scenes - like Rino and his son going to the restuarant in Little Italy, there is no snow on the ground, and background people are not wearing winter coats. Also, when Giovanni was driving in the city with Teresa (last night's episode), and I've noticed in a few other scenes, too. Drives me crazy when production messes around with the timeline like that, and thinks we won't notice!!
  9. I agree that geographically, opening another restaurant in the Colts Neck area seems kind of stupid, I think it could be successful, depending on its location here. In the last 10-15 years, a lot of people from NY (specifically Brooklyn and Staten Island) have chosen to move to this area. If they had eaten at Ponte Vecchio before, and enjoyed it, opening something similar here makes good business sense (considering that I think that Rino and the twins are both originally from Brooklyn themselves).
  10. The Colts Neck Inn restaurant is actually very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, when we've been there, which is quite a bit. (Usually not during the summer, as we prefer to go to places closer to/on the water during the summer). The food is good -- typical suburban steakhouse fare - nothing fancy, but consistently good menu options. They have entertainment (local bands, DJ's, etc.) on Thursdays through Saturdays, and Saturday nights, the crowed is definitely more mature (over 40). The Inn itself is does book rooms, I think more for wedding guests, as they do very nice weddings there, as well. Oh - and, it was closed for several months last year, due to a dispute over the liquor license, or something... When I heard the new housewives were from the area, I mentioned it to my husband, and we both agreed that the Colts Neck Inn was definitely not the typical kind of place for them to film--it just doesn't seem upscale and trendy enough. I really figured they would film more in Red Bank - at Char Steakhouse or Red, both of which draw the type of crowd suited for the housewives. I also did not recognize the dessert place where Amber and Nicole had their "meeting" (I knew it definitely was NOT in Red Bank), so I googled it, and found out that is actually in Ramsey, NJ!!! Pretty far for both of them to travel to have a sit-down!! Here is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/LarteNJ/timeline. My thinking is that they did this on their way to filming of another event, as Ramsey is closer to where Dina, Theresa G. and Melissa live. There are more kids from families with "money" that attend BCC than you might think.... Plus, I think that Brookdale has a pretty good culinary program, so it probably will work for Giovanni.
  11. I agree with your daughter - I got a definite "Where in the world is Carmen SanDiego?" vibe...
  12. I was thinking Simon VanKempen from RHNY. But, after the first season, I actually kind of liked Simon. I really can't see myself EVER liking this jerk-*ff (love that Rino used that word!!). Sorry to say that the Marcheses live pretty close to me - I hope I never run into him/them - I'll have a hard time keeping my mouth shut!
  13. I think his Twitter just proves Dina's comment about Jim's magnitude of douchebaggery....what an idiot!! Honestly - I think this Twitter account and his actions may have just ruined Amber's "dream" of being on the RHNJ. She'll get this one season, but I really will be surprised if TPTB ask her back.
  14. The same person who was taking care of Jacqueline's kids?? Now that Jac is no longer on the show, she doesn't have a need for a "twitter-sitter"....
  15. Thanks for that info - I didn't know that they were related to Carole...maybe that was why LuAnn gently referred to them as "mentally ill" rather than screaming that they were delusional, deranged or just plain ole' batsh*t crazy! To be honest, I kind of get more of a "Blanche Dubois" vibe from Sonja. She's kind of creating this fantasy world for herself, where she is still in the upper echelons of society and the toast of the town, instead of a near-broke, down on her luck, aging socialite who is losing her appeal. I can totally see Sonja in a scene where she would tell someone "I always rely on the kindness of strangers"....
  16. Hi! So loving this and everyone else's comments....I read Sonja's blog (and I agree with everyone - it is one disjointed, confusing mess....), and this is what she has to say about being a "lifestyle branding EXPERT".... "...I also think the viewer knows very well what a lifestyle expert is if they have been watching me Sharpie my bags, use a bottle brush to clean the toilet, glue my hangers with crazy glue, cook in a toaster oven, make flower arrangements from the corner deli, and pick up an orchid at Home Depot and put it in a French cache pot. It's someone that knows how to work with what they have and to do with less when necessary but still live a life of luxury -- when you don't have all the money in the world and even when you do." I guess that makes EVERY woman in America, or around the world, who doesn't have buckets of money at their disposal a "lifestyle expert", because don't we all try to do the same things?? Well, tbh, I've never Sharpie'd my bags (I've done it with my son's sneakers a few times and a couple of belts, though), and I own a toilet cleaning brush, so I don't need to use a bottle brush to clean the toilet...but, I think we've all purchased flowers from somewhere other than a typical florist shop and arranged them in our own vases, and we do try other tricks to make things look pretty and original while decorating "on a dime"....there are hundreds of books available on how to do this, as well as magazines and online websites...all of which will give you better ideas and advice than Sonja!!
  17. Hi, all...long time lurker at TWOP, and have been lurking here, as well....just figured I'd jump into the discussion!! As far as Shannon is concerned, I thought she tried to handle things last night well, but I get the feeling that Shannon has a hard time expressing herself without getting emotional. She seems to wear her emotions on her sleeve, imo. I felt badly for Shannon because she was trying so desperately to get her point across without someone interrupting, diverting or talking over her. She also is not a master manipulator and is clearly out of her league with both Heather and Tamra, both of whom could teach classes in master manipulation and who have been to the Housewives rodeo much longer than she. I used to enjoy Heather, but I see nothing to like about her anymore. She is snobby, pretentious and pernicious (thanks for that word, Camille Grammer, LOL!!!). I don't doubt for a minute that there was some kind of comment made about "taking down the Beadors", whether in jest or in envy, due to the fact that the Beadors currently have the largest home in their neighborhood. I also found it very, very contradictory of Tamra to continue to tell Heather and anyone else who would listen "I am NOT a liar". Did she not just admit in Vicki's office that she did, in fact, LIE to Shannon when Shannon confronted her about telling Heather about the email situation?? So, Tamra, yes - you are a lying, lying-face liar!!!! Also, when Tamra and Heather were out on the balcony, Tamra said to Heather that "No, Terry never said you wanted to take the Beadors down", but she never denied telling Shannon that Terry did say it. Tamra is the resident sh*t-stirrer, and always has been, starting with the "naked-wasted" party with Gretchen. She has more issues than all the rest of them put together. She is destructive and has a very evil streak running somewhere deep inside her. I think that jealousy is her main issue and all the rest of her nastiness stems from that. She will wind up a nasty, lonely old woman, imo. And, WTF with screaming over Shannon and grabbing her by her arm?? Was it because Tamra was afraid that Shannon was going to completely break down the fourth wall, or because she was nervous that Shannon was going to expose more lies that Tamra told? I think the latter more so than the former. I also felt that Vicki really should have stuck up for Shannon, rather than just sitting there swapping food/kisses with ugly face, crass and classless Brooks. I get that she is trying to be less dramatic and confrontational, but this was a time when Shannon really needed someone in her corner. I have a little more respect, however, for David, than I have previously. I loved listening to him be calm and go back at Terry, all the while, Terry was sounding like a petulant, spoiled little boy on a playground trying to make something out of nothing. That's all for now!!! :-)
  18. Well, I'll take the feet and shoes (I like shoes!!!) over the fascination the camera guys had with dog poop on several of the other franchises in past seasons....LOL!!
  19. I agree, mayboo!! I couldn't think of who he reminded me of (I kept thinking a thinner version of Uncle Fester from "The Addams Family"....). I'm still on the fence about Rino, though - it seems like he is trying a little too hard to be the next Richie Wakile. For the record though, I have eaten at their Bayridge restaurant, Ponte Vecchio, several times and the food is amazing!!
  20. Hi!! I'm new to the forum (long time lurker at TWOP)....but I've been reading/lurking here, too!! I think we may find out that the "connection" to the prosecutor for Joe Giudice's case and Jim Marchese (Amber's husband) is that several years ago, Jim was a "whistle-blower" for a pharma company where he worked several years ago. Here's an article about the whole thing from 2007: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/25/business/25whistle.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 If the article is correct, he may not have been so honest in his testimony!! :-) Oh, and I can assure you that MOST of the people who live in Colts Neck (and New Jersey, for that matter) are NOTHING at all like these gavons!!! :-)
