  1. To me, the funniest part of the whole show was when Dina yelled "ONE AT A TIME"....a la Danielle Staub...I actually laughed out loud at that one!! :-)
  2. This was a cute episode...and, it was actually nice to see Kate smiling quite a bit - she seems to have a "professional persona" when with the guests - almost like an old time English butler who was trained to do their job unobtrusively and with decorum, while not overstepping their boundaries. This episode convinced me that I don't like Kelly. Sure, he's eye candy (just his body, though), but he is VERY aware of that fact, and seems to be very impressed with himself - I think that's why I don't like him. I always liked Ben, but from what we've seen this season and even with this episode, he also seems to be completely impressed with his talents and less worried about serving good food when the guests want it...I would never want to eat at a restaurant where he is the chef - it would be painful. I get presentation and perfection, but really - it's food!! Thirty seconds after that perfectly plated and decorated dish is presented, someone is going to be moving things, and actually eating them!!! Still don't like Kat. I think I actually like Eddie and Amy the best, and would like to see more of Logan - I think there's a few stories in his past!!
  3. Also might explain why she doesn't feel the need to shower every day....
  4. Mine were the same...I wasn't allowed to use a tampon until after I graduated high school, bought them myself and never told my parents until after the fact. My parents would not buy them. And, my parents were born in this country. Just super strict and super old-fashioned.....my father used to take me shopping for my bathing suits and I wasn't allowed to wear a bikini or a halter top, or anything low cut.
  5. I wonder about this...I actually think that, if the franchise is renewed, the twins will be back - I know they're annoying, but I think their stories could be interesting. And, as much as I hate to say it, Amber and Jim may be back, too, only because while we all think Jim sealed the deal on a non-return, HE got more online tabloid and blog press than everyone else, with the exception of Teresa and Joe. Andy loves all types of press - good or bad. Maybe there will be a few "contracts" that need to be ironed out, and maybe Bravo will send Jim to a class about how to play nice on Twitter and what can and cannot be said before filming. I also think that Melissa and Joe will be back, and we may see occasional scenes with them and Joe Giudice and the girls (they are the only real tie-in at this point). This could also leave the door open for one or more of Melissa's sisters, who, while not appearing this year at all, in past seasons, seemed like they were auditioning for Housewife status. I wonder about Dina. I think she may need the money and I think that she does enjoy the popularity. If Jac comes back, then Dina will be a definite no-go, however.
  6. Of course, it's Kathy's makeup....she brought along that world-famous, elite makeup artist, Ashlee(y)....you know - the one that ALL the rich and famous of Los Angeles are booking now!! :-)
  7. If I remember, the trip to Atlantic City took place before the First Responder's Party, and after the first party/fall festival/whatever at Jim and Amber's house, so I think the tension between Amber and the twins was starting to build at that time. I think we now also know why Amber doesn't get out too much - I think whenever she goes out, she thinks she is back in college, and every night out is a night to get wasted and stupid drunk. In my opinion, Jim knows this about her and tries to keep her under his little thumb and under his control. Well, except maybe in the bedroom, if the rumors are true!! And, did anyone else get a weird vibe when she was doing the whole "Alana, the Russian hooker girl" thing?? Methinks that costume she wore to the First Responders' Party was just a re-do of some weird dominatrix thing that's hanging in the back of her closet... That "Alana" thing also reminded me of poor, sad Quinn from RHOC, when she was pretending to be "Roxy - the Vegas hooker with a heart of gold"....
  8. I was thinking the same thing, but I will add that yet again, another storyline re-tread. I mean, wasn't tossing a book on a table Danielle's schtick (which I also believed was producer driven). At least, Teresa knew enough to carry a purse that would hold the book!! :-)
  9. Well, gee, Kathy - knowing what you know now, aren't you glad that Teresa didn't write a "blurb" for your cook book? I don't know how much that would have helped boost sales - Teresa, in a backwards way, kind of did you a favor!!
  10. I think that this all happened before the rumor spreading was about their family, though....so, maybe that makes it okay?? ;-) Well, I don't want to defend Teresa, but in all fairness, she did make a good point....
  11. Well, unless she was totally faking that dancing, Melissa just put that "stripper/dancer" rumor to rest....
  12. That's what I was thinking, exactly....especially Amanda's - shapeless potato sack dresses!! All the rest of your assessments are spot on! :-)
  13. Teresa, if I recall correctly, said she attended and graduated from Berkely School of Business, which was a two year "business school" back in the day here in NJ. (I don't think they are in business anymore). If I remember from those days, this school was one step above a Katherine Gibbs type secretarial school. They offered various "degrees", such as executive assistant, fashion merchandising, legal assistant, etc. I also think that back when Teresa worked at Macy's, it wasn't that difficult to become an "assistant buyer". It was really just one position up from department manager. (And, if you've recently dealt with sales or store managers for some mall stores, such as NY and Company, Forever 21, etc., you will know that you don't need to be a Rhodes Scholar or have a great deal of people skills or be of a certain age for that position. (Not knocking anyone in retail - I worked in retail myself back in my teens and early 20's).
  14. I have watched Project Runway since Season 1, and this season's finale has finally convinced me that I am not fashion-forward, and in all probability, not fashionable, based on what I saw. There was so much there that I just totally didn't get or understand who would want to wear any of it or why....I guess I'm hopelessly classic in my own fashion sense....oh well!! :-) (I think that's why I loved Laura Bennett's stuff so much) Not one piece in any of collections wowed me tremendously or made me think "I would wear that". I thought Amanda's was drab and boxy. I appreciated some of the piece work, but it looked overworked in some of the designs. I did like the taupe suede in some of the pieces. Char's was collection was cute and probably the most marketable. I loved the jumpsuit with the Italian print. I do think a lot of her pieces skew to a younger, almost junior audience (as many have said - kind of "Forever 21", but slightly more upscale). Kini - oh man, I wanted to love his collection sooo much, because I think he's such a nice person; but, I just couldn't get my heart into loving all of it. The pleated dress was beautiful and I liked a few other pieces, but way too much denim and dark...as others have said. Sean's collection was probably the most cohesive, in my opinion, and was probably the one that stood out on the runway the most, but I hope he's not a one-trick pony with all the fringe. Orange is my least favorite clothing color, so that may be why I wasn't totally in love with it. All in all, I was underwhelmed, and I think a major reason for that is because these designers didn't have enough time to create these collections. I am sooo over the one day challenges, and then, create 10 pieces in four/five weeks - then, recreate those pieces (because the judges didn't like them) in less than 48 hours. Interestingly enough, Lifetime showed PR Season 4 today, and the difference in the clothes was unbelievable - even some of the lesser talented designers from that season showed better pieces than the best designers from this season. Watching the finale, I still was wowed by Jillian, Rami and Christian...all of their work was so beautiful and executed to perfection. I wish that PR could go back to what it once was - an actual show about clothing design. Oh, and I still miss Michael Kors' snark - his comments were priceless!! :-)
  15. I know, right? I laugh when I see something in their homes that I have, as well...(maybe it's time to re-decorate??) Anyway, as far as the bracelet, when I wore it recently to a wedding, someone told me they saw it in Nordstrom - well, I wasn't going to tell her that I bought it at Target...but, I did look it up on the Nordstrom website, and the identical bracelet (just a different kind of clasp) is available there for $75.00...so, maybe that was the one the twin was wearing. Me, I'll stick with my $20.00 bargain from Target.
  16. I don't know...RealityTea is not the most reliable source. But, I loved reading that article, and seeing how Jim created those "contracts" for others. And, then, had the balls to actually screen shot and share on Twitter what is clearly called a "Confidentiality Agreement"....I thought "confidential" meant that it was in secret?? What a douche-twit that man is!!
  17. Maybe they learned the law and did court training with Jim Marchese? ;-) She may be able to become a cast member on "Mob Wives"....
  18. Oh, another thing I noticed during the Ladybug charity event - one of the twins~~I swear, I really cannot remember who is who...was wearing a crystal encrusted, chunky chain-link bracelet. In case anyone is interested, I have the same bracelet, purchased at that VERY HIGH END store known at "Tarjay"....(or Target, for the regular, every day stuff). LOL!!! It actually is a very nice piece of costume jewelry, and looks more expensive than it was - I think I paid $19.99 or something like that. I've gotten loads of compliments on it. Just thought it was funny to see her wearing something from Target!! :-)
  19. I wish I could explain his eyebrows...hell, I don't know if even Rino could explain them!! (I thought that maybe at some point during cooking one of those Fred Flintstone sized steaks, some of his eyebrows were permanently burned off??) He's got a quirky sense of humor that I find funny, and I also think that he is a pretty genuine guy. I did love the dogs, too...the bulldog cracked me up!! I don't know, Maharincess....I think I draw the line at Richie. He can be a little too vulgar, even for me!! ;-) (Oh, and btw, I love, love, love your screen name - makes me smile and "swoon" everytime I see it, LOL!!! And, now, I have Ricky Ricardo singing "I Get Ideas" in my head....)
  20. Dina was an interior decorator and also was a party/event planner for The Brownstone. The event planner thing led to her HGTV show about party/event planning. I think the show only lasted one or two seasons. That's what I should have said, Higgins - that Rino perhaps did say it, in jest or in poor taste...sorry!! :-) I still don't think he and Santa actually did IT though!!
  21. According to Dina, she doesn't get a salary, I believe she has stated that several times, including just recently, in a Twitter thing with douchebag Jim Marchese, who went after her and Project Ladybug recently. After a day of nasty tweets from the twit (Jim), he backtracked, as per usual, but offered no apology to Dina. Well, she did "insult" him on Twitter by telling him to "shut the f uck up", so I guess he didn't feel the need to apologize....
  22. That is exactly what I was thinking. I don't believe that rumor, but I do wonder if it was said, perhaps in jest, or just in poor taste and VG "edited" it to suit her needs. But, I am one of the few people that like RIno. :-)
  23. I agree with you on all of this. I am not a fan of what Teresa and Joe have done, and absolutely agree that they should be punished for their crimes, but I do, in a grudgingly way, have some small amount of admiration (maybe that's not exactly the correct word) for the way she tries to "keep things together/normal for her girls". I am sure, in the middle of the night, when all is quiet, she is scared to death of what will happen to her, and to the girls, while she is away from them. I may be totally off base, but I also do think that a lot of her mess is because of her ignorance and trust in Joe. Do I blame her for being ignorant - absolutely!! Do I think she should have been more aware of things - 100%!! But, I also think that Teresa was, up until all of this came out, very happy to be ignorant, as long as her life and the girls' lives were not disrupted. Her fault, and now she is paying the consequences. I have also felt that Teresa is probably what Bravo/Andy/Sirens would call a "perfect employee". We know that much of the show is staged - not necessarily scripted, but the scenes are set up and the housewives are prompted on what needs to be done and said. Teresa, for the most part, does her job, without breaking the fourth wall. I don't ever recall her blaming "editing" on the way she came across to the viewers. I also think that is her personality, unfortunately. She does think she is always justified in everything she does, good or bad, and that is reality TV gold. I also think that is often why she looks confused when the others call her out on her shit. She sometimes has a look on her face that makes me wonder if she is thinking "Well - of course, that is what happened - that is what we were TOLD to do by the producers". I mean, the producers probably didn't tell her to chase Danielle in a country club, but they may have told her that they wanted to get a confrontation/conversation, and she did what she was told to do. It's very interesting to read everyone's take on Teresa, and I agree for the most part with everyone's opinions, but I also have to give her some props for being as strong for her family as she has been through this. I cannot imagine what Jacqueline would be like in this situation...she, to me, is a blubbering mess of emotions, even though all the injectables won't let her cry real tears. (Hey - maybe that is why her face looks so puffy now - she is trying to cry, but her tear ducts are frozen and all those tears are just backed up under her skin and can't get out, LOL!!!) Just my two cents, for what it's worth!
  24. Andy probably did that because he also knows what a mean, nasty douche Jim is, and was afraid Jim would kick Wacha...
  25. Yes...because they are such good Catholics, right?? I guess he goes by the whole "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" part of the Bible (which is, more often than not, misconstrued and quoted for the wrong purposes). I don't know, I went to Catholic school, and we were taught to "do unto others as you would have done to you" and "turn the other cheek". I guess little Jim missed those parts of the Catholic education. I cannot stand this man!! What a douche!! Even on WWHL, I got the impression that he is in waaaaay over his head at this point, and he thinks by being smarmy and sarcastic, we will believe that he went into this to play a "head game" on everyone. I think he has done irreparable damage to his reputation with all his nastiness, between the stuff he's said on the show, to the endless rude and nasty twitter comments. I don't know what these two were hoping to get out of doing the show, but it can't have been what has happened!!
