  1. Whatever happened, if Mauricio did cheat and got caught, I believe that Kyle is trying to at least not throw him to the wolves like what happened on Vanderpump Rules with Tom Sandoval. That was an example of being "eviscerated". Maybe Kyle and Mauricio worked out a deal that she wouldn't flat out call him a cheater on TV, thus saving him from losing business and being blasted all over the media. Or, maybe it was the other way around, and Mau is shielding Kyle. Who knows? All we know is they both are hinting at something, but not ready to actually come clean and admit whatever it is. At least not until after he opens 25 more new offices of The Agency around the globe and the second season of his real estate show drops on Netflix.
  2. Gee - not to make light of anxiety and depression issues, but with Lisa Rinna as a Mom, it's not a big surprise that both Amelia and Delilah have anxiety/depression issues along with an eating disorder. Thank God that Rinna is no longer on RHOBH!!!
  3. Well, based on what Kyle and the rest of the Faux Force Five (or whatever they called themselves - Rinna, Teddi, Dorit, Kyle and Erika) thought a few years ago, perhaps LVP instructed her Vanderpump Dogs store manager to leak the news. Just kidding..... I thought it was interesting that several of the women seemed to be more concerned over who leaked the story than if the story was actually true and if it was true, how their "friend", Kyle, was feeling.
  4. Actually, Andy was speaking to Kyle about what Erika said. During an appearance by Erika on WWHL, Andy was asking her what she thought about Kyle and Mauricio's marriage struggles during the season. Erika's response was something about hoping that Andy holds Kyle accountable at the Reunion for not being entirely truthful about her marriage problems, and did said that Kyle deserves to be eviscerated (or something like that), because Erika felt that she was eviscerated at the Reunion shows over her situation with Tom and the court cases brought by the victims of Tom's scamming and stealing money from accident victims. While I don't disagree that Kyle should be questioned in depth over whether she was completely truthful about her marriage, it was more of the same "I want retribution and demand apologies" bullshit from Erika, because she feels that she was treated wrongly for not having a scintilla of care or empathy for anyone but herself. Not fully disclosing marital issues on TV is small potatoes compared to what Tom Girardi did, and how Erika's selfishness and lack of empathy for anyone was shown. The only people hurting in a marriage breakup are the couple and their family - not hundreds of accident victims' and their families who had money basically stolen from them. So, this is one of the rare times when the previews showed the right thing. At the time when WWHL aired, I thought it was a pretty dramatic and cruel thing to say, but brushed it off as Erika being her usual cruel and nasty self. I'll be curious to see if Kyle has distanced herself from Erika for saying that the same way she has distanced herself from Sutton and Dorit over their comments about her marriage.
  5. You're probably right. She may have performed a couple of her other songs that had marginal success on an Itunes dance hits list. Two things I didn't get with all that focus on Erika - first, when Mikey gathered them for a "prayer" - did anyone else hear ANYONE in that circle, including Erika or Mikey, mention God, Jesus, or any other higher power, asking for confidence or giving thanks? Isn't that usually what prayer is? Second, whoever told Erika that making an entrance looking like a slutty Rocky Balboa in a white Barbie box was a good idea really is stupid (it was probably Mikey). She's trying so hard to be the low class Caucasion version of Beyonce/JLo and failing miserably. Having a bunch of back-up dancers and singers, along with some pyro effects does help distract from her lack of musical and dance talent (by design, I'm sure). She does look amazing, though - I've got to give her that, at least.
  6. On WWHL last night, Kyle was asked about Glenn, the event planner she previously used, and why he didn't do this event for her. Kyle kind of danced around the question, saying "Oh, I don't know - he was busy the day of the party, this was a big thing, I wanted something different".....more or less saying that Glenn wasn't good enough or upscale enough for this party.
  7. Much like Dorit does ALL the time. If one little logo is good, draping your entire body in logos must be better. If "fashion is Dorit's language" (as stated in her opening line), she didn't learn the language from Coco Chanel, who said to accessorize and then, before you walk out the door, remove one item - presumably because you've overdone it. Dorit overdoes her fashion constantly.
  8. I agree with your entire post. Kyle lets LVP rent space in her head for free. As much as she makes fun of LVP, she really wants to be just like her, with the gorgeous home, throwing fabulous parties, tons of designer bags, etc. IMO, that is why she hired Kevin Lee. Kevin Lee's party design style is so outrageously over the top, which always seemed to be more LVP's natural style than Kyle's. Kyle's natural style, in the past, seemed much more cozy and comfortable, with touches of elegance here and there. I would not feel uncomfortable sitting on Kyle's couch with my [unshoed] feet tucked under me. At LVP's, I would be nervous that my dark wash jeans were going to rub off on her gorgeous white couch, or afraid I would spill my tea on her carpet. As far as PK and Dorit - first, I do think that if they're back next season, their marriage will be shown to be struggling. Only because Dorit likes to compete with Kyle and if Kyle and Mauricio have marital problems, then, so will Dorit and PK. I also think that if you have such debilitating PTSD, being on a reality show is probably not a good idea, either. That makes me think that Dorit's PTSD is not as bad as she makes it seem AT TIMES. It's a convenient diagnosis for her to pull out when she feels she needs attention.
  9. I wonder if "Super-nurse anesthetist 8.5" jumps in to assist with assessing Sutton's situation.
  10. This White Party was all about Kyle asserting herself as a singular entity, and no longer "Kyle and Mauricio". What I loved about their past White Parties was that they always seemed to enjoy the more home-y setting of their gorgeous properties together, as a couple. This felt like too much like a corporate party - I'm surprised they weren't giving out "The Agency" swag. On second thought, no, I'm not surprised - as Kyle set out to prove she can do this without Mauricio (but, probably NOT without Mauricio's money). I don't give a shit that she protested to Kevin Lee about her name, and her name ONLY, on the dance floor. She was secretly happy about that. I also don't believe for a second that Kevin Lee would do something like that, and spend a big chunk of change on that without her prior approval. If he did, he would lose business, for not following client's wishes. Kyle also annoyed me with her snarky shit and shade about LVP. That was unnecessary, childish and just mean-girl. I didn't notice - was Kim at this party? And, were Kyle's former bff's - Teddi and Lisa Rinna in attendance? And what about her new bff - Morgan Wade? I guess Morgan's music and performance wouldn't have blended well with the over-done, ridiculous performance from Erika Jayne.
  11. I'm still processing most of this episode, and will probably have more comments later, but, after watching this episode and the previous episodes of the season, I am convinced that Kyle has worked out a deal with Hermes to get either deeply discounted or free Birkin and Kelly bags, as long as she prominently displays them at least once an episode. What finally convinced me was that during her conversation in her living room with Erika, there was a tan Birkin sitting off to the side on the couch. I just can't imagine why anyone would just have their handbag sitting on the couch in their living room while entertaining someone. Just makes no sense to me.
  12. Even for Dorit, that outfit looked ridiculous. I also thought she looked very under-dressed for the White Party.
  13. I bet the couple that won that trip are glad for the "made up" holiday! That was a very, very nice prize - the Boca Raton Club is gorgeous!! The only thing I don't like about these giveaways is that the person winning them has to declare the dollar value of the prize as income and probably have to pay taxes on it. Taxes will be less expensive than if you paid for the trip, but it still could be problematic for some. However, I'd be happy to spend four nights at that resort!
  14. Yup.....same sh*t, different day! I also appreciated Sara giving a subtle dressing down to the others about the fact that NO ONE should be made to feel "wrong" because of their opinion on this matter or any other matter, for that point. Sara is correct. People are entitled to their opinions, and, if you want to "play the poll game", most voters ARE concerned about the age issues that could arise with both Biden and Trump. Joy sits there, looking exasperated and insulted when the age topic is brought up. I mean, seriously - I get it - she's 81, so she's going to always take this personally. Sunny rattling off the names of other brilliant, vibrant and still working octogenarians was fine, but again, these people are NOT running the country - there's a big difference between the Presidency and the acting jobs of Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino, for example. I was surprised at Joy's comments regarding Jon Stewart's monologue. He was basically making a joke, or giving a satirical monologue. He took shots at both Biden and Trump - it wasn't one sided. Again, I find that these women often act the same way that they complain about with the other side of the political arena from them. They get angry if anyone makes a joke about Biden, however, they make jokes about Trump all the time, and complain that Trump and his team take offense. Can't have it both ways. It's going to be a loooong time til November if this is amping up already.
  15. I thought the segment was fun, too. Interesting to see who actually has "in the kitchen" knowledge (Joy), those who have basic skills and can follow a recipe from the back of a jar/can (Sara, Alyssa and to a lesser degree, Sunny), and those who have no skills whatsoever (Anna). I was surprised to hear that Joy doesn't like anything too spicy - I always imagined that she would be an adventurous eater. Maybe she just can't handle the spicy things anymore? Alyssa was wearing the same sweatshirt as Sara, only in black. I've seen lots of different styles of Superbowl apparel with that same theme.
  16. I agree with all of your posts! Joy, whom I normally adore, really annoyed me today. I understand she has a different opinion than Chris Christie, but the way she threw her pen down on her notecards was kind of disrespectful - especially because Joy was not giving Christie a chance to explain his reasons behind his comments about President Biden. It is usually Sunny who is the one who won't let the "opposing" side finish a thought, let alone a sentence, but Christie had to endure both Joy and Whoopi, as Sara was her usual self and Sunny was unusually quiet and subdued. I understand that Joy took Christie's comments about Biden's age personally as she is the same age as Biden, but she shouldn't have. Christie was right when he said to Joy that she isn't running the country. Biden's age (and Trump's, for that matter) is a big concern for many, many voters. While I respect their devotion and strong belief in President Biden, other people are allowed to have differing opinions and those should be met with respect, even if they don't agree. I sometimes get very frustrated with Joy, Sunny and Whoopi with this stuff. They will drag certain "news" show hosts for only presenting or supporting one opinion, but they do the exact same thing. They are all very close-minded to hearing anything that may be a differing opinion than they hold. Having Alyssa there doesn't balance things out, especially since they interrupt and clap back at her without letting her finish her comments so often. Alyssa takes it all well, though - she must have developed a pretty thick skin in her last place of employment, LOL! I'm usually in agreement with what Joy says, but today, I felt she was unprofessional and disrespectful to someone who came on the show with good intentions (oh - and, of course, to promote his new book). I'm not a big fan of Chris Christie, but at least he's a Republican who has finally grown a backbone, speaks with some semblance of common sense and treats everyone respectfully. The View used to be about all different "views", with lively, respectful conversation (barring a few very glaring exceptions and removing the entire time that Alyssa's predecessor sat in that chair). Now, it's become a show that if you don't agree with Whoopi, Sunny and Joy, you're dismissed, disrespected and argued with. I think the only two people from the "opposing" side these women are respectful toward have been Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney. At least those are the only ones I can recall.
  17. AnneMarie should look back at the last season of the original RHONY - Leah and Eboni tried to "educate the public" - it didn't work out too well for them, either. Real Housewives shows are really not the right platform for trying to educate the public - they're freaking fluff shows about supposedly well-to-do women and their social lives, or at least that's what they were supposed to be, and why people started watching.
  18. Monica has a HUGE inferiority complex, if you listen to the things she said tonight. She really was trying to get one of the other housewives to say that she wasn't good enough, wasn't rich enough, wasn't "white" enough - none of them were stupid enough to take the bait. I was especially appalled when Angie called her a low-brow sewer/gutter rat (I can't remember exactly) and Monica screamed "brown!!!" over and over again, even after several people corrected her, including Andy. She wants something to hang over their heads as a personal affront. Monica has so many freaking personal problems that continuing on this show could not be good for her mental health, which seems pretty shaky already. Plus, she's a lying liar who lies. The FBI told her to follow Jen Shah, do regular stake-outs at her house, and basically do whatever she could to trap Jen in an arrest?? WTF? No wonder the other women were laughing - it's so ridiculous, but yet, she doubled down on it.
  19. But, will Linda Darnell replace her? She's even more unhinged than her daughter.
  20. I'm sure either Monica or Monica and her Mom have already established their "Only Fan" accounts - that seems to be the new trend, and I wouldn't be surprised if Monica winds up making good money from it.
  21. I'm sorry to be a bitch about physical appearance, but seriously, does Annemarie have an overly large forehead? I know she says her husband said that in everything, including looks, she's an "8.5", but I'm also sorry to admit that in my opinion, I don't think she quite there in the looks department. IMO, she's very low on the "looks" totem pole based on the Real Housewives, past and present.
  22. You know, I typed it both ways, and it just didn't look "right" to me with the correct spelling, although it didn't look wrong, either (does that make sense?). I can't even comprehend Jack actually attending Columbia University (my husband's godson, who is a brilliant research MD now, graduated from there around 12 years ago). He MAY, however, be smart enough to attend that Columbia School of Writing or whatever it was that Kelly Bensimon (RHONY) attended, when she used to fake-tell people she attended Columbia - leaving out the last part. Why does this picture look photo-shopped to me? I'm still not convinced this kid is living in Bogota.
  23. Sutton's refrigerator is a pretty large one, especially to hold food, etc., for just one person, when her kids aren't home. There's just my husband and myself, our fridge is a little smaller than Sutton's, and unless I've just done a big shopping trip, it looks pretty empty, too. Especially compared to Kyle's home fridge, where she is feeding herself, Mauricio (sometimes, I guess) and at least two or three of her daughters. I agree - cooking for one is really no fun.
  24. A non-audition audition to become a new housewife of somewhere, maybe? She's definitely kooky enough and probably narcissistic enough, too.
  25. I am well over 50 years old, and I don't think I have ever heard nor said the word "esophagus" so much in my entire life as I have heard it said tonight and last week. Can it please stop??
