  1. So any one have any quick fixes to streaky self-tanner? I was planning on going to the beach today for a couple of days and did some self-tanning towlettes (which suck, btw) last night so my pale self doesn't accidentally blind someone and I woke up this morning to very bad streaks. I haven't gone yet, and if I can get rid of the streaks I may leave tomorrow. I've tried sugar scrub, acetone, rubbing alcohol, lemon juice, and all of those things with a st. tropez tanner mistake bath mitt. Now, I'm trying covering it up with an aerosol self-tanner, but anyone have any other suggestions??
  2. Not sure, I kinda want to say no, at least not to the degree they are now. When Chen was talking to Greene about looking something up in the DSM-IV I Damn near had to sit down. This was a long gone ago!
  3. I don't know what to think about that ending. Pay I'd me kinda wants it to be real. Roller and Des running a scam on Uncle Daddy, but that works seriously fuck up her relationship with pretty much everyone. Virginia girl, don't you know less is more. Especially with an alibi. And can anyone tell me what happened between her talking to the chip and then her and Des being in the car? Des was telling her she didn't have to do stuff like that. I think I missed something.
  4. While I actually would be fine with Hetty leaving (note, I don't mean Linda Hunt), that's not what this sounds like. The first female sounds like a replacement for Grainger :( and the second sounds like a way to move them over to the mothership. I would actually be impressed if they replace Grainger with a female as that means amnaction drama on main stream network would have an equal amount of female to male characters (more if you count Anna).
  5. I think I use tongs for everything (I have three pairs). Pasta, flipping things overs, pulling pans out of the oven. Heck, I used a trick I saw online and wrapped some cloths around each side and cleaned my blinds.
  6. I LOVE this commercial!! Samsung Ostrich ad. Not only does it make me just smile (and tear up), it's just beautifully shot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjKd24UCPYY
  7. That's how I've always gotten them of too. Never had a problem.
  8. I think I love your aunt!! This show is amazing. I never would have thought of Niecy Nash for this role, but she's great and I have never seen Carrie Preston in anything but I'm enjoying her.
  9. I never got Seinfeld, the few times I saw it (my best friend was obsessed with it. She still has a framed poster of Kramer), I thought it was beyond stupid. I felt the same about her second obsession, Sex in the City. The only Friends character who got on my nerves was Rachel. I was Team Ross on the breakup.
  10. I'm so used to Nash in comedies, so this is a bit different, but she's been fantastic! It's definitely summertime fare, but a couple of episodes in and I'm enjoying it. I do think Tran's character may be a little stereotyped, but that might change.
  11. So I may have missed this bein brought up, but as anyone seen the pilot for Claws on TNT? I just re-watched I thin I can get into, IMO the main characters are the 4/5 women are running the salon and they also ran the pill mills scam for Roller. Now that he's dead... Thus far the main cast is : Niecy Nash, Jenn Lyon, Judy Reyes, Carrie Prestion, and Karrueche Tran. There's also Harold Perrineau as Nash;s brother. The Dixie mafia can be handled by the Russians, but I'm not sure either would be good.
  12. If I can ever find what night this is on, i'll dvr it. Niece Nash is a dream and whoever is playing the blonde sidekick (Jennifer) pretty great as week. I'm looking to hear about more from them all. Really glad the little wanna be thug Roller got tapped out by Virginia.. that boy had no use expect to be fucktard of existence for Niece and uncle-daddy. Mostly I want some backstory on theses women.
  13. That I can agree on, he was tempted a coupe of times.
  14. yeah, I get this. I haven't watched a whole lot of CW shows (Whose Line Is It Anyways and a some episodes of The Originals) but I can see this. I watched a few show of The Originals but the promos I saw for it never really featured Rufus (?) who after I watched seemed kinda important. I mean the main focus was the three siblings (I think) but I would not have known that two important POC characters are the sister's ex-boyfriend/one of the brother's protégée and a female witch(?). I do remember the Dallas reboot (same company but different network) showing the POC cast (Latino) though they coded them, at least in my opinion, as white in the promos. In the actual show they tried to differentiate but they weren't great at it. Warner Brothers doesn't seem to have a great track record at giving proper due to POC cast. I wish Undergrround had been renewed, It sounds like a show I would have really liked, but I suck at remembering Netflix so I'm not sure if I would have watched. Thought if it was really $5 million an episode I can understand why.
  15. So happy the adult version is back as I skipped out on the kids. I saw the last half of the auditions, I thought they were pretty good. Darius and the guy wearing the plastic suit were gray and in glass in nite the only one who thought the twins were kinda creepy. Maybe it was the choreography, there was something a little sideshow circus about it. So happy Mary is back and I think I'm the only one who doesn't mind Nigel. I don't find him skeevy and I like some of his comments. I also like having a judge who isn't necessarily in the business. I think sometimes they can see the overall beauty of a dance and not get sidetracked by a faulty turn, etc. I like the balance.
  16. Other than Grant Show I don't know who the hell any of these people are; judging by the one trailer I would have said Fallon was the focus, but knowing OG Dynasty it's really Krystal/Cristal (well actually it was Alexis...). Of course this may be one of a few trailers. Personally, I though they all acted at about the same level.
  17. Goes anyone have one of those portable/tabletop ice makers? I'm looking to get one but Naively assumed that they would store the ice as well. I've heard this isn't necessarily the case with all of them. If you have them - what has been your experienced, do you like it? I don't need a very big one, it would just be me.
  18. Now I love me some Special K but I despise this commercial on such a level it's scary. Between it and a local commercial where a woman is so impressed and grateful her attorney went to court with her (WTF!) I want to hit my tv.
  19. BJ did NOT cheat on Peg!!! That's a hill I'll die on!!
  20. I liked early Hawkeye and middle Margaret. Hawkeye got a little to preachy towards the later seasons and Margaret's hair just got so very blonde it's distracting. I'm pretty split with Henry and Potter, I just love them both. And I remember when Henry died I BAWLED. My dad picked me up and we just cried together. I also liked Bj and Trapper for similar reasons I liked Potter and Henry - all four are so different and I liked them all I find it hard to pick. I have a soft spot for Frank - he was such an absolute dick, but I also felt bad for him sometimes. Like someone else said early, you knew his home life sucked so much that I always got the feeling that the war was the one time in his entire life that it was just his and he just didn't know what to do. That's just sad. My dad always had a soft spot for him too, so that's an influence. Charles was just a better developed character in every way so it almost doesn't seem fair to compare the two. I always liked Charles because he was such a purist (I don't know if that's the best word though). He loved music and art and so many other things and if someone else loved those things and appreciated that he just recognized that pureness on the other that other obstacles fell away. It was just an refreshing honesty and complexity that was very rare. I think Charles was probably one of the most well rounded and well developed characters I have ever seen on television.
  21. It definitely confused me. For some reason my DVR deleted it and I had to watch it OnDemand and between the weird production number and the secription not having an original showing date (just 2017) I had to come here to match the guest stars to see if it was new. I know I'm the only one who likes it, but I never get enough of Helping Hands! Tony was kinda funny. And quick!
  22. I can't find the commercial online to post it, but there is a local ad for the BIll Allen Law Firm where the "client" extols the virtue of Bill because he went. to. court. with. her. AKA his job!! They play it every morning when I'm getting ready for work and I want to reach through the screen and smack sense into the woman.
  23. Tonight is a cooking night (it happens about 3-4x a month) so I made a casserole with cheese, tomatoes, ground beef, and egg noodles. It was an easy Facebook recipe. Paired with a Rhone Valley red.
  24. L'Oreal Revitalift Serum. Goes on so light but it feels like you can feel it re-hydrating everything. Too-faced Better Than Sex mascara. The first time I tried this, a sample size, I didn't like it, but a friend talked me into a full size and it's my goto for everyday. My mascara I use for special occasions is L'Oreal Double Extend. It puts these little fine white tubes on the lashes and then the black mascara. My lashes look amazingly long I've been asked if they're false (which if you knew my clumsy level is hysterical). Nars orgasm blush. I now want everything in the Orgasm line.
