  1. Yes, folks, long before Deadpool even existed, there was the first several issues of "Sensational She-Hulk". (Now available in a trade paperback, which is much easier to acquire and carry around). She-Hulk would constantly "look" and talk to us, complain about the silly plots, or yell and scream at the writers and editors, and once she "ripped a hole" in the comic book, and proceeded to walk through two whole "fake" pages of ads. (Almost) everyone thought she was a little crazy.
  2. Alas, "Booky" will not return. He took the multi-colored helicopter to the big airport in the sky. I hope they have a funeral for "Booky" next season.
  3. I'm sure you probably found it by now, but it IS available on Amazon Prime (or VUDU). One of the very few DC animated properties that are NOT on HBO Max (especially odd considering the actual series is available on HBO Max). Meanwhile, just another reason for Tara Strong to fight and argue ............. with herself. (I remember that weird special they did a few years back which was just Tara Strong characters (including Raven).) Jam --- The Gotham City Sirens (Harley Quinn (voiced by Tara Strong), Poison Ivy, and Catwoman) need two more members on their roller derby team, so they ask Raven (voiced by Tara Strong) and Starfire to join their team.
  4. I'm going down with the ship on this one, aren't I????? For the ump-teenth time, THEY ALL CAN'T BE THE SAME THING!!!!!! A "reboot" is a show (or movie(s)) that feature a whole new group of actors and actresses pretending to be the characters originally portrayed by a different set of actors and actresses. (Think Dynasty, many (but not all) of the films from the 00's and 10s, and the new "Trek" films, ) (What I like to call) a "revival" is when the same group of actors and actresses are still portraying the characters they portrayed a long while back. (Think Mad About You, Will and Grace, RoseAnne/The Conners, Punky Brewster, and the 80s "Trek" films.) and finally, THIS is (what I like to call) a "continuation", in which a new group of actors and actresses are "following after" the original group of actors and actresses. The original show/movie is "canon", and these characters are doing something similar. (Think the Barrymore, Liu, and Diaz "Charlie's Angels" movies ----- the new group of "Angels" are well aware of the "original" group (which was ALREADY a revolving door of "Angels") Ahem, rant over. Sorry. Ernie Hudson is actually portraying a (much older) Herbert "Magic" Williams, the black soldier that Sam leaped into during the Vietnam episode. It has been established on a couple of occasions that the individuals that Sam leaps into remember their ordeal, like when he convinced "Roberto's" audiences that his future rant (when the real Roberto returned) about being abducted by aliens was pure fiction. It will be interesting to see Herbert trying to explain that he knows it actually works.
  5. Posted as well on Quantumania forum: When Ant-Man decides to bring Stark tech aboard a cruise ship to impress dinner guests, Ultron finds out and sends several droids to attack and retrieve the tech. (Apparently, Ultron still functions. Who knew????) It going to take the combined efforts of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Falcon America (Anthony Mackie), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) to stop these Ultron droids. Then, at the end, NOT Paul Rudd and NOT Evangeline Lilly walk through the dining area and assure everyone that the day has been saved.
  6. Enjoy the show. A waiter will come by with some more breadsticks for you shortly.
  7. Get ready for another HUUUUUUUUGE project by Kevin Costner. Horizon is a “beautiful story” that spans 15 years in the American west, focusing on the white settlers moving across the country and the indigenous groups living there. ............ and it's going to "FEEL" like fifteen years after you get done watching all ELEVEN hours of it. Warner Brothers is first going to put this EPIC saga in theaters first ---- as four movies about 2hrs. 45 min in length every three months (if only we got to watch LOTR and "The Hobbit" that close together) but, eventually, this saga will be shown on TV, as an eleven part mini-series (which is why I'm creating this topic here) then why the "four" movies being shown in the theaters????? (Cue up clip of O'Jays singing "Money, Money, Money, Money)
  8. I'm surprised none of the kids pointed out to Stan and Tolkien that while Mr. Black was offering the kids twenty dollars per boat, that Mr. Cussler's offer of $15,000 for 10,000 boats means that the kids are only getting a buck and a half for each boat. (Not to mention that after the cost of supplies, they were probably losing money). Seriously, I thought that you two were the smart ones.
  9. OK, so the premise is ..................... Batman, Cassie-Batgirl, and Duke-Robin have a talking Batcomputer, and drive around in talking Batvehicles and they protect Gotham from -------- Joker (Mick Wingert), Harley Quinn (Chandni Parekh), Catwoman (Gina Rodriguez) Penguin (Jess Harnell), Riddler (Sungwon Cho), Mr. Freeze (Regi Davis), and Toyman (James Arnold Taylor) who get help from THEIR "Evil" computer (known as BADcomputer ("of course") (Sungwon Cho) ) and they have THE LEGION OF ZOOM, a group of (of course) talking vehicles as well --------- Prank, the Joker-van (Griffin Burns), Jetstah, Harley's ATV (Alexandra Novelle) Ducky, Penguin's duck-boat (Ariyan Kassam) (Why does Penguin keep getting duck vehicles??? He's a penguin; not a duck!!!) Quizz, Riddler's helicopter (Josey Montana McCoy), and Snowy, Mr. Freeze's snow plow (Xolo Maridueña) Pretty much everything I expected from a Batman cartoon aimed at preschoolers. See you all this fall on HBO Max (and/or Cartoon Network).
  10. and now, the prerequisite "clip show" right before or during the actual finale. "Hey, Michelle, remember that time when Uncle Joey and Uncle Jesse took you to Disney World???" "YOU GOT IT, DUDE!!!!" and, hey, they showed Cable for a few seconds (but no Benny). I liked it, though. This episode was a fair balance between new scenes (actual plot) and clips, unlike other clip shows that I have seen. Can't wait for the actual finale.
  11. Boy, Apple TV is REALLY churning out these specials, aren't they????? (I guess they are getting their money's worth (via viewers) ). Well, they finally discovered another holiday they haven't done a special for. So....... Charlie Brown is his usual self, messing up breakfast in bed (and a cake later on), Woodstock has a tender moment with his (her???) mom, and Peppermint Patty is upset because she has no mom, until she decides to just celebrate the holiday with her dad. Snoopy Presents: To Mom (and Dad), With Love (No Charlie Brown, again) Now available on Apple TV
  12. But was it just as unbelievable that Elliott was able to pry two bullets out of a tree (in the same spot) after forty years??? Actually, No. It is quite possible.
  13. Hold My Hand -- Hootie & The Blowfish Hold My Hand -- Lady Gaga Hold My Hand --- MJ (with Akon) Hold My Hand -- Jess Glynne Hold My Hand --- Dave Davies (from the Kinks) Hold My Hand -- Nat King Cole Hold My Hand --- Sean Paul Hold My Hand -- The Rutles 😆
  14. So, you probably heard that the MCU is So, without further ado, here he is.
  15. Here's a link to the second teaser. I loved the 90s party. (Paula and Skat Kat!!!! Roger Rabbit!!!!!!!) Monterrey is in rehab. More jokes about the computer avatars.
  16. and now, Marvel is re-releasing the TRUE first Dr. Strange film. Shout Factory is making the classic 1978 Dr. Strange film available on DVD and giving it a high-definition restoration. (because you got to see these cheesy special effects in high def) For all of you young "whipper-snappers" who only know Marvel films from Blade onward. you are truly missing twenty years of "Marvel Mistakes", featuring the likes of Reb Brown as Captain America, David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury, and Peter Hooten as Dr. Strange. Ah, those were the days when we TRULY understood how much a superhero movie truly SUCKED.
  17. Exactly what I was thinking!!! It would have been so funny (and a neat cliffhanger) if Sam and Jay "switched" when they fell. Now Jay can see them and Sam can't. It would have made a great second season premiere. (it would have eventually been reversed again after the premiere). I also thought that somehow the female ghost at the Farnsby's was going to help Sam and Jay by relaying gossip to Sam about what Henry and Magaret do (hint - it involves bedtime and leather) and that was how they were going to save the B & B. See you all next season. Keep gasping, Issac.
  18. I was hoping for a few more replies before I posted. So, Gibbs gets suspended for punching a dog fight operator (and killing one dog), but the LA team get a hearty congrats for shutting down a dog fight ring (and throwing one of them thru a window). Good thing Gibbs is out God-knows-where in the middle of Alaska; chances are he STILL KNOWS what just happened, and he's shaking his head in disbelief. For the last time, taking care of a goldfish is WAY HARDER than taking care of a dog. If the water is too hot, it dies. If the water is too cold, it dies. If the water is too dirty, it dies. If you feed it too much, it dies, If you feed it too little, it dies. Parents just don't care if they spend a few bucks on a fish (and those small tanks), and then have the kid ignore the fish a few days later as IT DIES!!!!! as opposed to the parent now having to take care of the dog itself because the kid, once again, starts to ignore the dog.
  19. Whoever is trying to buy that robotic dog, it's definitely not China. That's so funny and cute; I'm told that the message is just saying to please stay indoors and wash your hands.
  20. From now on, we can refer to Isaac as "Gasper The Friendly Ghost". (I will go stand in the corner now).
  21. So.......... Timmy Turner (appearing only in the first episode and NOT being portrayed by Drake Bell) is now heading off to college........... (Wait a second, didn't Timmy turn into a fairy at the end of that last movie???) (Look, first, many people refuse to count the live-action stuff as continuality) (But........ isn't this also live-action?????) (Which brings me to .................. second.................... after all the continuality problems in the later seasons of the cartoon, not to mention the live-action stuff, your brain will shut down trying to explain the logic of this silly franchise, so SIT BACK, SHUT OFF YOUR BRAIN, and ENJOY THE DUMB SHOW!!!!) Ahem..... Timmy is now heading off to college, so he is now giving his fairies to his relative Viv, who is in junior high and is way too old for fairies (But what happened to Chloe????) (Death glare) (OK, OK, sitting back, shutting off brain, watching dumb show) Her new (much younger) stepbrother, Roy, also quickly discovers the fairies........... (Shouldn't the fairies disappear after.......) (picks up knife) (Shutting off brain, ME LOVE PAULY SHORE FILMS!!!) ........... so now, these two are in charge of Cosmo and Wanda, and the crazy shenanigans are.................. watered down due to it being live-action,......................... and are still happening. oh, and Denzel Crocker (portrayed by Carlos Alazraqui, the voice of Crocker in the cartoon) (I loved how they had many of the voice actors portray the live-action version of the character in the live-action movies) is Roy's teacher now and he is still trying to find those......... FAIRY ........ GOD ......... PARENTS!!!!!!!!!! Starts today, only on Paramount +, a mountain of entertainment
  22. I thought they stated that Spooner was working in Fortress' main HQ, which was near Washington DC, so Parker just travelled only a few miles to "pick him up". So, when did you catch on that Valderrama had a different shooting schedule and was never actually "there" alongside the others?? (I loved that photoshopped picture at that end.)
  23. When I was little, they spent one year showing these classic Fleischer Studios cartoons called "Screen Songs". They were educational and would always feature a "Bouncing Ball" song at the end. I still remember the silly song at the end of "Drippy Mississippi" that would help little kids remember how to spell that word.
  24. Thanks guys, we could all use a good laugh right about now....... NKOTB (with a little help from Salt and Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue) decide to make fun of Devo, Toni Basil, that one Journey video (you know which one), and a few others while reminiscing about the 80s.
  25. and now, because you demanded it....... The "WEIRD AL" pinball machine!!!!!!!!!
