  1. I know we're talking about Christmas commercials, but I noticed this year that they did not bother showing the M&M Halloween commercial this year. "Put your hand down." I see that just about every year, but they didn't show it this year.
  2. I suppose I understand their rationale though. This whole thing is supposed to be a play on the Mr. T cartoon. And Mr. T did those live action bits. You forgot to mention you-know-who also did live action bits during his cartoon. You better not click on the link, Kromm. He might just reach out through the computer screen and punch you. He is just that awesome. As for Norm? On some level this is kind of his usual "I don't give a fuck" attitude. Which I personally have always liked about him... but I know it's a minority opinion. I'm picturing Norm's career continuing its downward descent from crappy movie to crappy TV show to crappy commercial to this as it proceeds into that vast black hole of oblivion.
  3. Wonder no more.

  5. So Randy has pretended to be both Slash and Lorde. I guess I shouldn't be too hypocritical. My father was the mall Santa Claus for three years when I was a young boy. Anybody else got any stories?
  6. I never saw Meet Joe Black, but the description reminds me of when Meg Ryan got hit by a truck in City of Angels lol. That's what her dumb-ass deserved for riding her bike with her eyes closed I would like to add Sam Jackson's death in "Deep Blue Sea" and Brad Pitt (again?) in "Burn After Reading". When I'm feeling down, I just put these movies on and cut straight to these scenes; it cheers me up right away.
  7. When they said that a major character was going to die, I just figured that it would be a character that appeared in more than 10 episodes out of 552. Heck, I think he has had more appearances in the comic books than he has on the actual show. Still, Hymie the robot only appeared in seven of the 138 episodes of "Get Smart", yet everyone remembers him. He even made a brief cameo at the end of that remake movie. I suppose "major character" is ultimately in the eye of the beholder.
  8. Sorry I'm late. I was too busy watching other well-written shows. I knew I missed a show last week when I mentioned all of the other recently dissapointing sci-fi show endings. Barbie: Look! The wall is collapsing. Joe: It's revealing a blinding white light! Norrie: There's someone coming out! It's........ It's............ Hurley: Duuuuuuude!!! Joe: Who are you?? Hurley: Dude, it's me, Hurley. I was on TV a few years ago. Welcome to the "White Light Void". This is Jack, Charlie, & Sawyer. Sawyer: Sonofabitch. More people here. Sonofabitch. Norrie: So, are we dead?? Jack: I don't know. Joe: Are we going somewhere? Charlie: I don't know. Norrie: Does the dome - - Sawyer: WE DON"T KNOW, ALRIGHT!!! SONOFABITCH!!!! Norrie: Does he say that alot??? Jack: You have no idea. Norrie: Joe? Joe: What?? Norrie: I wish we were back in the dome. Thank you, TV, for giving me another sci-fi show to watch that has an ending that answers nothing and delivers a thousand more questions. I'm going to put my home-made DVDs of "Under The Dumb" next to "Revolution" and "The Event" under the category "Shows That I Will Never Watch Again For Fear My Head Will Explode Trying To Figure It All Out". Oh look, my home-made DVDs of "Alphas". I almost forgot that one, too. Right next to "Alcatraz", and "Journeyman" and.............
  9. Let's see......... All new episode of "The Blacklist" All new show "Forever" All new episode of "Dallas" on TNT. How bad is your show that the final episode ever still ranks 5th or 6th on my watching priority? I just hope that we have closure - I'm still upset over the final episode of "Revolution"......... and "FlashForward" ............ and "The Event" ............ and .................
  10. Discuss Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Here!
  11. "Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but it's certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots than the tortured avenger crying out for mommy and daddy." Many younger internet users don't care for the "old school" adventures of the Caped Crusader, be it cartoon or live-action, but for me, nothing is better than Adam West dancing the Bat-Tusi while trying not to "attract too much attention". A great show, with a whole slew of guest stars. Today's TV shows would kill to have as many Hollywood stars and legends on their show. Warner Brothers (with a whole lot of help from Conan O'Brien) has recently announced that Batman is finally coming to DVD. Holy Hallelujah!! (Sorry, couldn't resist)
