  1. At the end of the handshake, Hector appeared to have a smirk on his face. I guess Hector's stroke robbed him of his poker face. Gus interpreted the smirk to mean Hector believes the Salamancas have the upper hand and that must mean Lalo is still alive. At least, that's how I interpreted it.
  2. I'm having trouble believing the scene where Cartwright is tailing Hobden. Cartwright follows Hobden thru the hotel and Hobden losses Cartwright by taking a bus, exiting the bus after a stop or two and then takes a bus in the opposite direction. As Hobden sits, we see Cartwright in the seat behind him. How did Cartwright outrun the first bus and get on the second bus before Hobden? Is this a DC series and is Cartwright the Flash in disguise?
  3. That is the implication. I'm not sure how Curly worked out that Moe was a mole. None of scenes with the kidnappers gave an indication that Moe slipped up. Perhaps Curly got information from his burner phone that Moe was compromised.
  4. I'm going to chalk it up to timing. We know that she was invited to the gala to speak with the board previously. The Gala was for "friends" of the company and most likely held a less restrictive area. Security for the Gala may have been separate from the usual company security. I am assuming Cobel's termination occurred late in the day and if Milchick had started the termination notice, the notification had not reached Gala security.
  5. I found Cartwright's being sent to Slough House confusing. You would think that since this was a training exercise, they would also be recording the communication between the command center and the agents. They could easily confirm that Spider had given the wrong description of the suspect. I guess he was sent to Slough House because of insubordination/recklessness or injury to the airport security agent?
  6. Traditionally it has always been the norm for coaches wear business attire during games, symbolically denoting the difference between players and management. I think college coaches adopted a less restrictive attire after the Coaches Versus Cancer campaign started. Coaches wore tennis shoes with their suits in support of Jim Valvano's fight with Cancer. Given the depiction of the Buss family in this series, it would not surprise me if the show suggests that Jerry or Jeanie had a hand with Riley's choice of Armani attire.
  7. He also thinks Max stole one of his spacecraft orbs and Max hasn't confessed to it or given it back.
  8. 01/04: Seth announced he tested positive for COVID this morning. The rest of the shows this week have been cancelled.
  9. I don't think the haul would be big enough to make a dent in the Ceres crisis. In previous episodes, Drummer was short on supplies (at least missiles). It would make more sense to use the supplies for her own growing faction. The tech to grow back limbs is pretty prevalent. Way back in the first season, one of the Canterbury crew had one of his limbs sheared off. The next time we saw him, he was in the sick bay with the limb restored.
  10. I watch it with my Amazon Firestick with the default remote You can access the X-Ray options by using the circular buttons. Press on the bottom part of the outer circle button to show the X-Ray option. Once you see the option on screen, press and hold the top part of the outer circle button until the X-Ray page appears on screen. Move the cursor so it highlights the text "Bonus Content". Select option by pressing the inner circle button. Move the cursor so it highlights the "One Ship" and press the inner circle button.
  11. I'm glad to see your enthusiasm for space exploration but don't expect to hear any news from the telescope for at least six months. It will take at least that long to reach its position in space and to test the telescope once it has been unfurled.
  12. I think the sixth villain is Vulture (Michael Keaton).
  13. Ghosts appearing at the time of their deaths would be an interesting twist. I would love to see something like what occurred in "American Werewolf in London" but it would be too impractical for a TV series. Maybe one of Sam's relatives has some sort of Bear sanctuary and Flower died trying to free a bear?
  14. Dylan being Dylan was never covered. My theory is that his father had a affair with his underage teen cousin which resulted in his dad fathering a child and Dylan kept his secret. Dylan wasn't able to kill his father's underage teen cousin lover and thus he acts like the way he does. We have already seen evidence of this in Easttown.
  15. The Martez sisters may be working with Ahsoka, but it wasn't Ahsoka in the hologram. Rafa referred the hologram figure as "him" when she directed R7 to patch a channel for the communication. Maybe the hologram figure was Rex?
  16. Anyone else curious about what Chief Carter was thinking when John said the he and Erin "had this connection"? The insertion of the Chief's reaction seemed a little out of sync with the rest of the scene.
  17. The weakest part of the series was Erin's murdur mystery. With such a detailed plan that Ryan laid out, I don't see how a prosecutor would not see this as premeditated murdur. Maybe he got a break on the charges because his mom was besties with the lead detective, so he was only charged with manslaughdur. The communication between Erin and John the night of her death was befuddling Mare said that cell records showed no calls to John number. John said that Erin called his regular number (assuming with the burner phone). According to Ryan account of the night, she also sent texts to John’s regular number. Does that mean that John listed the burner phone number with the name "Erin"? Wouldn't that negate the whole concept of using burner phones to secretly communicate with one another? Also if your son confronts you of the affair because he checked the text messages on your phone and you still have contact with her in secret, wouldn't it be wiser to change your cell phone passcode every once in a while so he doesn't have access to your phone? I got annoyed they didn't address how Dylan seemed to know that Erin was shot in the head.. Dylan's threat to Jess in the last episode was "...you’re gonna end up with your face blown off just like Erin”. It didn't appear to be public knowledge since they asked John about it during his interrogation. Was he even asked that question in his police interviews?
  18. I think you could say we're gonna need a freakin' cruise ship.
  19. In episode 2, Mare seemed to think that it was from a gun shot. When she talks to the chief at the crime scene, she makes a finger gun gesture to explain the wound to the head. This is from @SnazzyDaisy's post in the "Fathers" episode thread: Whether the wound looks like it's from a gun is debatable, but the Easttown police believe it to be. The show has been coy about confirming cause of death. You would think that the Medical Examiner scene would confirm the cause, but it doesn't. So with nothing to refute Mare's initial hypothesis, I am assuming Mare's cause of death is the one the police are still running with. As for Dylan's threat being incorrect, he is trying to scare Jess. What sounds more menacing? Saying I will blow off your face with a gun or I'm going to shoot my gun which will tear off your finger and have the bullet glance off your head, accidentally killing you. The detail still remains that Dylan knew Erin was shot in the head.
  20. I haven't seen anything in the past episodes that makes me believe that John is a master manipulator. Billy confessing to killing Erin dumbfounds me. Is John's argument "for family" convincing enough for him to take the fall? Doublful, unless Billy is a complete idiot. i am of the opinion that Dylan is Erin's killer. 1) With the Jess chase down in this episode, there is now an established pattern that Dylan will threaten someone with a gun. 2) Dylan has no alibi with the established timeline of Erin's death. 3) When Dylan threatened Jess, he said “Don’t open your f***** mouth again, or you’re gonna end up with your face blown off just like Erin” Until recently, the police thought the Erin’s murdur was connected to the Katie’s kidnapping. Details about how Erin was killed would be kept under wraps because of the pending investigation. So although the TV viewer knows that Erin was killed with a gunshot to the head, the Easttown public wouldn’t know that information — only the one that shot Erin would. I also noted this, too. Maybe this is confirmation of the healing properties from marijuana. Or, it could be the steady diet of La Spada's Hoagies, Coco's cheese steaks, and Rolling Rock has miraculous healing properties.
  21. Not sure how spoilery this is since my observation is from the current episode... I'm going to assume the sparkle space lady reference is from the Amalia's forward rippling. I'm pretty sure that woman is a slightly older Myrtle (as Chicago Redshirt pointed out in an earlier post). One thought I had about the Victorian artifacts in the underground bunker. I noticed a parasol was among the artifacts. It seemed to be in fine shape despite the fairly delicate nature of the item. Could that be one of Penance's creations (the electric parasol prod)?
  22. -- Never Mind -- Question was already answered.
  23. Well, this is a comedy. I think replacing Drew with someone who doesn't even remotely look like Drew (definitely not the same coloring) and just run with it like nothing happened would be bold and funny.
