I’m sorry to hijack Chelsea’s thread with negativity but looking at this picture it really struck me hard - when have we ever seen Ensley look this “alive,” for lack of a better term? Look at her glistening eyes and face so full of pure joy! It’s just so tragic to me when I look at pictures of Chelsea’s well-loved and content kids to think of Kaiser and Ensley. Especially with Ensley, it makes me consider the drug use Jenelle probably didn’t think twice about while pregnant with her. And I don’t mean just the fact she tested positive for thc at birth, I’m convinced Jenelle did other things too. Is that why Ensley has dead eyes and has never had the livelihood to her that Layne has? Or is it Jenelle’s sociopathic genes coming through that give her the dead eyes? Or what she’s experiencing in her short life? She’s just never had the pure innocence and joy behind her eyes I see with Layne. It’s not surprising, considering, but I feel sick to my stomach thinking about it.

BTW, if Jo meant just a window unit AC that is really stretching my disbelief to think he couldn’t afford a new one immediately. You can buy a new Frigidaire one on amazon right now for $139, it is highly reviewed by thousands. I’m not and I think it’s probably actually more, that was just Jo’s estimate. I know someone who has 150k Instagram followers and like 40k on Twitter (she’s not otherwise famous, but young, really pretty) and has funded for her whole life just off social media (Instagram, twitter and Snapchat) - an apartment alone in a big city, multiple vacations a year and she’s putting herself through college - for at least 3-4 years now without ever having a “real job.” Kailyn has much more reach and many more followers than her plus she’s the grifting queen so I’m assuming she’s taking every shifty sponsorship possible, which the girl I know doesn’t do (no “diet teas” for instance). Kailyn is probably making more off of social media than she is on the show. Why the heck doesn’t Jo do some Instagram/social media whoring of his own? He could stay sitting on the recliner. His Instagram has about 75k followers and he hasn’t posted a thing since 2017! Vee has 105k followers so she must be making something. They’re semi foolish IMO not to cash in on this. They don’t even have to sell out their personal lives, people will pay them to hawk stuff just for being on TV. They could also work st getting more followers. Stack up the money for later while you can. That’s Leah’s (and Jenelle’s) dream occupation for her current guy (just not after they split and it comes time to pay child support). This is otherwise perfect but “you’re grammer is way to well” to be a Jenelle fan!! I think Gracie is confused about Ali’s abilities and the seriousness of her condition. Look at all the mixed messages she’s gotten - Ali is fine, she can play sports, doesn’t always need her willchair and shouldn’t be treated differently but then they do treat her differently because they have to and she is obviously weaker than Gracie and can’t do the same things. I don’t think Leah and Cory have done a “well” job at explaining it all to Gracie and that’s why she’s said things in the past about Ali just being lazy or a baby and picks on her. I think Gracie thinks that Ali just has some differences but that she could do more and be “better” if she just wanted to, because she’s like 9 and has been mostly left to figure things out for herself in regard to Ali and her condition. I wonder if she should go to a doctor’s appointment with them once in awhile now that they’re older. Maybe that’s a weird idea but I think she needs a more educated adult to help her understand. Therapy is a great idea, I hope she’s actually still going. That was weird...but could the decor be leftover relics from his ex wife? Was that their home together?

Leah has probably spent more time with the foreign exchange “daughter(s)” than she has with Amber, possibly in her whole life. They probably know her a hell of a lot better too. How the fuck can ‘8” eye lash Portwood’ actually think she’s a good, or even acceptable, mother?! Well, she also thinks she deserves an Emmy...so clearly she’s touched in the head. I don’t watch the Emmys so I wasn’t even sure if there were awards for reality shows and it appears there are 5 for reality shows - best host, best director, best competition program, best structured show and best unstructured show. The only ones TM could be nominated for are best director (um, who?) or best unstructured program. The 2018 nominees in that category were “Born This Way,” “Deadliest Catch,” “Naked and Afraid,” “Intervention,” “United Shades of America,” and “Rupaul’s Drag Race Untucked.” I don’t watch Rupaul’s show (or really any of these!) but it’s the only one that (as far as I’m aware) doesn’t seem to be showcasing mostly serious issues or dangerous things but maybe I’m wrong and it does. The point is TM doesn’t really fit with the rest. And surely isn’t nearly as popular. I feel like Amber actually thinks they should give HER personally an Emmy, like it’s her Oscar or something. What the fuck does she think she’s achieved? You’re only here for the drama you provide and train wreck factor, “boogerbutt,” not to teach us anything meaningful or useful. I ultimately think Amber and Jenelle don’t get along because they’re way too much alike in the worst ways. Amber probably thinks she’s “saving lives” too.

I don’t know anything about her personally but she died over 15 years ago and things still weren’t like now back then. I did read that B/M was sold to a large French company, Banjay Entertainment, in 2010 so that might have a lot to do with it. The timing seems about right.

That’s definitely true! It’s just that the number of people I would PHYSICALLY FIGHT for “the honor of” is very, very small. And Kailyn seems to keep finding randoms to go to bat for her...but maybe these randoms are just the fighting type in general so it doesn’t seem that crazy to them. She CHOSE to be all of that for Kailyn...that’s the part I can’t comprehend. Most of us have an asshole in our lives but it’s usually a family member or long time friend who used to be different and has turned into an asshole over the years, not someone just met who has ALWAYS been an asshole, with a whole TV series for proof of how she treats people.
