Word. Look at me over here posting about Kieffer left and right. Trying to remember when, as fucked up as it is, this show was entertaining and full of fun snark, not total darkness and literal death. It’s been explained a bunch of times that Barb has never had the legal authority to keep Jace from Jenelle. Jenelle never lost custody due to her legal actions or by court order, she agreed to sign over physical custody to Barb. Jenelle still has legal custody and rights over Jace and Barb cannot just move away with Jace and not tell Jenelle, that would potentially result in Barb losing physical custody and would put her in violation of the court. Foster families also cannot just move away with a child and many times the kids DO have contact with their parents still. And many kids in the system go from parent home to foster home, back to parent, removed again to another foster home, back to parent, etc. It’s not simple or quick to terminate parental rights and just never have to deal with them again. Without Barb forcing Jenelle’s hand to give up physical custody of Jace he would’ve been in Jenelle’s custodial care fully until something horrific finally happened and then the in and out of Jenelle’s care and other homes would’ve begun when CPS eventually got involved. Jenelle wasn’t in any danger of losing Jace to anyone BUT Barb, Jenelle wasn’t even on the radar of CPS or the courts at the time Barb stepped in. Barb saw the writing on the wall with Jenelle’s “lifestyle” and made Jace as safe as she could proactively before Jenelle had the chance to actually cause him harm due to neglect, etc. Barb could’ve stuck her head in the sand and just stood by while Jenelle took Jace to party after party and other inappropriate situations and who knows what else until something bad happened and the authorities stepped in. But she didn’t, she got Jenelle to sign over custody as soon as she realized Jenelle wasn’t going to change her life and be a mother to Jace. Barb is definitely not perfect but by doing all that so early she has managed to keep Jace away from quite a bit of Jenelle’s bullshit.

Briana’s feral screams from last reunion were shocking to hear again. Have any of the Real Housewives ever “refused to be on stage” with the other Housewives at their reunions? Not that it isn’t in the best interest of all involved for it to be this way with these people but I’ve never seen that on another show, I don’t think. It’s just crazy how MTV lets them demand so much on this show. And they don’t even try and frame it like they’re trying to be responsible due to violence, they let us know it’s because the cast calls the shots and refused. Until 5pm. It’s bizarre. I can’t with Jeremy and Leah fucking or not fucking - either way it seems to be messing with the girlses’ minds so they should shit or get off the pot. I suggest getting off the pot before they give Addie even more issues than she’ll possibly already have. Leah continues to amaze with her reunion outfit selection. “That’s stalking behavior,” thanks, Drew. Then he giggles about guys doing that while saying they shouldn’t do it. Just another example of his unprofessionalism. Glad the viewers are in expert hands here. I hate him. We ain’t need you, Dr Fool. Yikes, Jason sounds extra creepy icky. Some y’all called it for sure. If we gotta have filler and a call-in guest Q+A, I guess I’m happy to have it be Addie considering the other choices. They shouldn’t encourage her in regard to Jeremy and Leah’s relationship with each other, though. She’s SIX. Adults have issues with wanting their divorced parents to reunite and they’re putting that in a 6 year old’s mind more than it’s in her head naturally? It’s kinda sick. Dammit, Devoin!! I think he naturally has one of the more likable personalities in the franchise but there’s no freaking reframing or excusing the story as told by Briana! Ugh! Get your shit together. John seems too nice, reasonable and normal for Briana and this show in general. Huh. Briana looked much cuter than she normally does at the reunion. I didn’t like seeing things from “next season,” apparently there will be one for sure already. MTV can’t let footage in the can go - see that horrible Young Moms Club/Not That Cute Little Mamas show for evidence. Jenelle being full of shit is predictable, I just wish she had screamed “LEAVE ME ALOOOOONE!!!!!” as she ran away.

The worst part of all of this and the reason I hate Jenelle just as much, maybe even more than David, is because Jenelle could have custody of Kaiser and Ensley again right now if she would kick David to the curb. Inexplicably Jenelle isn’t the one being investigated here at all, just David is. If David were not in the home Jenelle would easily get them back. He’s been identified as the problem, not her or them both. She couldn’t even take Kaiser alone for one night, it’s pretty clear why she’s not going the route of caring for the kids herself. What kind of sociopathic monsters choose to keep he husband in the house instead of the kids? If David were truly innocent or even actually cared about the kids he would have volunteered to leave himself and done anything to keep the kids out of this situation and at home with Jenelle. Instead they both say, fuck the kids, David is more important.

She also looked like she has/had gained weight to me. For a second I had the horrific thought she could be pregnant but then I remember she, blessedly, got “fixed” and I could breathe again. Am I the only one who thought she looked bigger? If she has gained and it wasn’t just a shitty outfit choice then that’s definitely upsetting her far more than the removal or her children or anything else going on.

Doesn’t look like it... some girl Jeremy has or had been banging or dating posted saying that she wondered if Leah knew what Jeremy was really doing and Leah commented this: Sure, Jan. I’m sure she’s totally fine with it all. 😂

I wonder how much David and Jenelle are going to end up paying in child support to all the various current (and hopefully long term or permanent) caregivers? I have to think her social media sponsors have mostly dropped (their feelings for) her and she lost her “job” on the show...but if they don’t have custody of the kids for potentially months they’re going to have to pay a large chunk of whatever they have left in support. Lol. Maybe they’re just going to spend it all before anyone else can claim it...why the fuck else would they be spending ANYTHING right now? To show us they’re unbothered? 😆 I know...there’s no logic to be found in the minds of the delusional and insane. What do you think it’s like right now on The Land? Are they fighting openly? Doesn’t seem like it from the shopping pictures. Are they tersely sitting there pissed at each other and barely holding on to their relationship? Are they riling each other up over how they’ve been mistreated and it’s not their fault and fuck The Man? Or are they going on as normal, thinking it’ll all be fine and even secretly happy for the break? Or something else? I really don’t even know what to think about what they could be doing. Everything they do “don’t make no sense” and I can’t even pretend to understand any choice they’ve made. David’s style is more a wall. 😬 I totally think they’re trying to “fortify” their “compound.”

Could they have burned through these episodes any faster? I just happened to see that there were 2 on tonight while flipping through the guide and one was the finale! I didn’t watch. I don’t understand the point of resurrecting the footage into a 6 episode “new” show.

I don’t see a media thread for TM2 so I’m just putting this here but, Feathers in My Hair, a podcast about the TM franchise, had a good episode this week about last week’s episode and Jenelle’s current situation in general. The main host isn’t my fave 😬 but she also has some good points and she had a guest host this week, Princess, and Princess had a lot of good insight into things. She’s a foster mom so she has experience with how the system works and just a lot of knowledge and depth of thought about the show that’s hard to find elsewhere. It sounds like she grew up in a bad situation herself so it was interesting to hear her thoughts on that side of things as well.

Even micropenises shoot out sperm. He “got” Jenelle and we know how hard she is to “get,” what with all the fabulously successful, law-abiding and educated men she has lining up to date her. A sociopath. Kieffer still wins the Jenelle Evans Best Soulmate of the Millennium Award, drug convictions and all. I’m not even sure who the runner up would be - anyone want to navigate that minefield? Yikes. Wow...I mean...wow. I didn’t think they were even this dumb. Are they going to build a wall around The Land? I think Ensley is most likely going back to The Land. She’s the only one who is the biological child of both of them, there’s no one but the state to fight to keep her away and the state is all about eventual reunification with the parents. Maryssa is most likely going back too. Unless David really is incapable of keeping his shit together, which is entirely possible, IMO. He got removed from the very first visit! I agree that Kaiser is probably never living with Jenelle full time again. I would think that wouldn’t even be a thought in the judge’s mind at this time. Jace doesn’t even live there and there’s little chance he’s going to be needing a room there any time soon. I also don’t see why it would be required that he have his own room.

Jo did go to school, at least for awhile. Not sure if he graduated but it came up when Kailyn started school. Kailyn definitely shouldn’t have been taking his money when it was decided and she agreed to “take him off child support” but doesn’t Jo, as one of the original dads, make nearly as much money as Kailyn? Something is off with this narrative that Jo is broke. Something is weird there.

What did she do for the years with Aubree before she had Cole? Call Randy? Sadly, it’s entirely plausible to me that she did. I know she was only like 18 at the time but remember Chelsea calling Mary because Aubree pooped and it blew out of her diaper and Chelsea had no backup clothing and no clue what the hell to do. Most likely (I hope) she’s actually had to suck it up (ew, gross word choice here but 🤷🏻‍♀️) and deal with vomit before, despite her aversion (does anyone, aside from Cole, not have an aversion to puke?) to it. I wish she wouldn’t make herself sound so pathetic. She’s capable of functioning without Cole, I’m sure if it, I wish she was confident in herself.

Kieffer is the hero we need but don’t deserve.

THIS! Everyone keeps talking about how Jenelle could leave etc but the thing is - she doesn’t want to, IMO! Any rational person would look at the situation and assume she must be terrified and want to leave his scary ass but she’s not a rational person so rational thought cannot be applied to her actions to make them sensical - they will always seem nonsensical to ‘regular’ people. I’m not convinced Jenelle wants to leave David and I’m also not convinced that she’s miserable in the relationship even a majority of the time. I think much of the time, especially before all this went down, Jenelle was her version of “happy” with David. She thrives on drama and she probably loved that David was so “protective” until he killed her dog and shit got a little more real than she wanted. I would assume that pissed her off - not because she cares about the dog or his suffering but because it was HER dog and obviously this was to send a message to her. I think she’s met her match with David and doesn’t even understand how truly dangerous he is. I think she thinks, “he doesn’t cheat on me, he’s never talkin’ to other girls and he loves me sooooo much that he acts crazy because he just loves me and our family so much.” I feel like she would still say that this is her best relationship ever. I think David also allowed Jenelle to sit on her ass doing drugs in the sheshed much of the time while he was in charge of everything around the house, including the kids. Not because he loves them and wants the best for them but because it allowed him to control everything and everyone and teach the kids his special “whizzdumb” about the world. I think he enjoyed having a bunch of kids totally under his control and Jenelle loved that she could be hands off and no one would know for sure that she’s still not mothering her kids at all and doesn’t give a shit what David is doing to them. It was win/win for her - do nothing as a mother yet still have the kids around for Instagram posts and image reasons. I really think Jenelle thought things were mostly good until all of this happened and now everyone is being ‘so mean and making a big deal out of things’ and messing it all up for them, in their minds. I don’t see Jenelle as a victim. If it hadn’t been HER dog that was killed I don’t think Jenelle would’ve given much of a shit at all, she only cares about things in relation to how they affect her - like the narcissistic sociopath I believe her to be. I also don’t think she’s done the things she’s done - the 911 call, leaving after Nugget was killed - for the (logical) reasons people assume, which is that she did those things out of fear and realizing she should get away. I think the 911 call was way more about teaching David a lesson and some kind of revenge for him saying he was leaving (remember he left with friends) or doing something else she didn’t like than it was about actually being hurt or in real fear. She filmed with MTV the next day and didn’t even have a mark or show in any way that something had happened the night before. I think whatever went down was between the two of them fairly equally. Jenelle has a big history of being abusive herself. I wouldn’t be shocked if she got physical with David, as he’s most likely done with her. I also think she was pissed more than scared with the Nugget situation and leaving was also a way to try and send a message to David. She probably got paranoid he was going to cheat and that’s why she was back after only one day. Cheating seems to be the only thing a guy can do that actually really upsets her. She has zero intention or desire to end things and leave, she keeps making that clear to me over and over and over. I just can’t see her as a victim, she’s more a co-conspirator to me. The victims are the children. This. And I totally agree about her reason for the CPS visits. Just because David is the worst doesn’t make Jenelle any better than she’s shown herself to be. She’s extremely awful in her own right. I’m surely NOT trying to stick up for David but I think Jenelle is a big part of why David doesn’t work - SHE doesn’t want him to. He had been (allegedly) working the same job for 10 years, quitting after getting with Jenelle. David is a lot of horrible things but I actually don’t think he’s as lazy as many of the other “men” on these shows. I think he’s happy to not work but I think he’d be fine going back to it too - I think his fragile ego is affected by not being the “man” and provider in the family too. I have actually considered that he WANTED Jenelle to get fired, as stupid as that is. This way he exudes even more control and can be the provider “big man” he sees himself as. I totally agree with this. Yep! Because everything is about what is “fun” for Jenelle - never mind what is best or fun for the toddler! If she can’t even take care of one of HER OWN kids for the night alone what does that say about how much “care” she actually provides on a daily basis? That response is about the least motherly thing I’ve ever heard. This. And just because someone is in the mental health field doesn’t mean they don’t have issues themselves - quite the opposite, frequently. More like cockroach. 🤢 I used to think them being filmed offered a tiny bit of protection but the more I thought about it the more I realized it just wasn’t true. David isn’t filmed at all so we’d never see any of his actions anyway and Jenelle’s word is shit and she just obfuscates everything anyway. Mtv hasn’t set foot on The Land in a long time either and access to Maryssa and Ensley was pretty much blocked by David. Filming didn’t protect them for those reasons, let alone MTV’s gross lack of caring. She doesn’t have a conscience. Her stomach hurts for herself - because she has to go through all this and everyone is just picking on her and saying all these untrue things, in her mind Jenelle sees herself as the victim, IMO. If the kids factor in at all to her she’s just upset, again for herself, that everyone is judging her for all of this and everyone knows she’s lost custody. The stomach pains, if they actually exist, are for her own ego.
