Exactly. And extremely publicly. Did you think they both seemed drunk/fucked up too? Some people also commented on it during the parts I saw. There’s nothing wrong with adults drinking, obviously, but it’s not a good look, IMO, to do so with your addict daughter on Instagram live while talking to all her young fans whilst defending the guy who abuses your grandkid and threatens women with guns for driving near his property. And that’s just the stuff David has done that’s current this week. I’ve always defended Barb, even just this past episode for sitting silently by while Jenelle extolled David’s nonexistent virtues, but this is pretty hard to defend. It’s starting to seem like she’s kind of selling out Jace and the other grandkids for the sake of her having this faux relationship with Jenelle. This is no kind of proof to me. And Keiffer, who is also tagged in the screenshot of Jenelle’s Twitter, was molested as a kid so I thought that’s what she was referencing. She’s also said that Nathan was molested. I think the accusation against Nathan is too “convenient” a narrative to fit in with David’s homophobia and probably not true but I have no way of knowing, obviously. In any case it’s not pertinent to the fact David is abusive. Also, I have to doubt the claim that the supposed incident from when he was 14 is why he has supervised visits - they were just fine with him being around kids, including Jace, unsupervised before he and Jenelle broke up and now they’re not? It seems more likely the supervised visits are because of the more recent violent and alcohol/drug charges.

And not only that but she wrote a letter in support of him during his sentencing. A lot of people did, actually, and many of them were Brittnee’s family members. I...don’t get it at all. The transcripts of what he said to what he thought was a 14 year old are out there...how can she read them and stay with him? There is no chance of it all being a misunderstanding or something. I’m so glad that Chelsea and Cole were not listed as people who wrote letters of support. True but I hate Javi and he loves being on the show way too much. I’d rather see Kousin Krystal, tbh, not that I actually enjoy watching her either. What the fuck was that? There was no reason why Nathan HAD to go to Florida, it’s not even like he has a job he needed to get to. Asshole. I would expect nothing less from someone who chooses to get with Javi and have his spawn so quickly.

That’s what I’m afraid of. He acts like this when he knows people are watching (even though he’s not on the show Jenelle still is and he knows people are trying to prove he’s a horrible father) and trying to rescue Kaiser. They all looked close and it appeared they spent a lot of time together. I’m curious to see if Britnee will be on this season and if they’re still friends. I understand that Britnee didn’t commit the crime but it would be hard to be friends with someone married to someone like that, especially having having a young daughter around, as Chelsea does. I looked at the list of people who wrote letters of support for Alex during sentencing and neither Chelsea or Cole is on it (Britnee is). Some of Chelsea’s other friends might not be as “settled” and wanting to do “family things” like Chelsea and Cole are all about now. Chelsea probably still has girlfriends (like Chelsy Grace) but I doubt Chelsea and Cole have many “couple friends” who come over with their kids and things. And it must be kinda hard to make new friends, being on the show and all.

Good points I didn’t really consider. I assumed she was only making like $10-$12 an hour at most but with 3 adults living in a small-ish apartment it still seemed like she should be able to save some because she’s also making at least $25,000 (I think that was the amount she got last season) on top of that. Maybe Roxanne doesn’t work any longer. I didn’t know Brittany moved out either - good for her! Hopefully that means Nova and Stella have a bedroom now. It seemed they both shared with Briana. Jenelle’s Instagram story today is footage of the work she and David are supposedly doing to her “she shed,” her calling Jace spoiled as she drives down the road while he’s in the backseat eating ice cream with Little Ceasar’s pizza on his lap (he must be on break from his year round school?). And now she’s posted in the last few hours that there’s a difference between “acting like a father and being a father” and that some fathers “never think about their child’s future” and then...this...: That’s why she’s Delusion-elle.

I was very happy to hear Leah say that things with her new guy don’t have to be rushed. Now stick with that attitude before you have a 5th marriage between the two of you. I’m annoyed that we had to see David at all, even in flashback. I understand Barbara’s position in regard to her tenuous relationship with Jenelle but, it’s definitely hard to watch her try and sorta be on Jenelle’s side-ish in regard to things, at least to Jenelle’s face. And watching her sit silently while Jenelle lies. But if Barb says anything she knows Jenelle will just freak out and cut her off. There’s a way to get all the expensive, good quality stuff much cheaper - second hand kids stores like Once Upon A Child! I don’t want kids of my own but all my friends have them. I’ve gone with one of my friends to that store a few times and it’s shocking to see nearly brand new (because kids outgrow stuff so fast they don’t even have time to damage the clothes a lot of times) items for $5 or whatever, knowing that new it costs $50. It works especially well for school uniforms and everything is so inexpensive she doesn’t really care if something gets ruined while playing or whatever. PLUS, it’s actually even better because they also buy used clothing to sell and there have been times she has actually sold them the same clothes right back again after her kids outgrew it and made some of the purchase price back making them even less expensive overall. I know Once Upon A Child is a chain because we went to one in a wealthier area and the selection was even better. I wonder if they have it in Indiana? This seems like something Gary and Kristina would be into and something Amber would think was “stupid” and get offended by. Because Amber loves to act how she thinks rich, classy people act instead of embracing who she is, like Gary and Kristina do. Meanwhile, my friend who saves on clothes has half of her $300,000 home paid off already and Amber can’t even have anything in her name because she won’t pay her taxes. I know they’re probably too good of people to do it but when the show ends and Amber is broke I want Gary and Kristina to give her no mercy. Take her to court for child support. Will this woman’s selflessness and giving ever stop?! You’re being way, way too generous, IMO. Indiana minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. She’d be lucky to even get a job paying that, IMO. She’s almost 29 and all she can put for work experience is that short period where she worked very part time in a tanning salon that was getting MTV coverage for having her work there and being a nightmare on multiple reality shows. She’s also an ex-con and while I don’t agree with it, it’s definitely harder to get anyone to hire you. She has violence and drug convictions and has been to gel plus her nearly zero job experience. And even if someone wanted to take a chance on her and didn’t “know” her from the show if they just googled her name they’ll see a whole lot that shows she’s not a desirable employee or person. And they won’t even have the promise of MTV filming at wherever she’s working because the show will be over. Amber is gonna be a waitress at a knockoff Denny’s truck-stop, IF she’s lucky, in my opinion. Lol.

I’d say Maci, especially, has done a pretty great job at getting paid off of someone else being the biggest ass in her storylines all this time. Chelsea definitely had several years where Adam made a bigger fool of himself than she did. Amber had the bounty that was Matt but I still think she looked like the bigger ass so I guess there’s that for her. Lol. Catelynn and Tyler made their early money being loved and having Butch and April be the assholes. Until we all realized the two of them were full of shit with all their bravado and false hope plans for their lives. Not that Brianna doesn’t look like a fool almost all the time but Roxanne has definitely put in her fair share of foolish moments to really make Brianna’s segments “pop.” Lol. I’d be annoyed if I was one of these side characters and only got a few thousand while the TM made way, wayyy more off of my “entertainment value.” But I would have to concede that generally speaking Amber and Kailyn are always the biggest asses in their scenes. But they both have very involved fathers for their first children and those fathers have been there since the beginning so they can’t really say they’ve made the show more than Jo or Gary have.
