"Days of Our Lives" fans will be welcoming one of these acting vets to the show, and it's not just for a cameo appearance." Actually, they're all associated with soaps, but for nighttime soaps.

I labeled this as 2016 because it came out last year in several film festivals, though not for general release till this year. Man, I really enjoyed this. Quite the entertaining film, with sharp writing and about eight distinctive, quirky characters. Not really anybody you can root for as individuals, you just have to enjoy the ride. And I did. I guess they had to set this in the 70s in order to avoid that whole, "If they had had their cells phones nothing of this would have happened" problem. Too bad they had to stick with John Denver for the soundtrack, there were so many more 70s songs they could have gone with, though I suppose they didn't want to come across as copying Guardians of the Galaxy. Armie Hammer's character was my favorite.
