Preach. If she doesn't win EVERY award for best actress, there is no justice! I kind of get it. He had lost Elizabeth for so long, and only got her back within the last few weeks. It would be hard to let go so quickly. It wasn't like he fought her or Sykes; he just tried to ask her to live. Yeah, I liked it too. She didn't freak out at the shoot-out at Lacey's so it made sense that she wouldn't freak out in the car. And it played a LOT better than if she had been the typical Damsel in Distress. I really don't know why people get on their knees when someone is threatening to shoot them. My scenario would be "What if I don't? What are you going to do, shoot me????"

No, it was a stupid move on the part of the writers. That was pure PLOTTTT!!!! I'll go into why. I'm sure TPTB tell themselves that they are not don't do racist things -- they can't be racists!!!

This is from last week, but I waqnt to respond. I feel it would have ben far more interesting if Wong and the other guys weren't so obviously corrupt. Maybe Chris was right not to push it -- these guys went up to the edge of the law, but not past it. Also, this is more a story from about 20 years back, before LA came under the consent decree, and the LAPD was forced to crack down on cops like these. Not saying it couldn't happen, just that it's far less likely since civilian oversight of the PD. No reason for them to be a "one and done". They've had other characters come back, so the gun club maight factor into a later episode.

The thing is that it was kind of dumb to guess that there would be a touchdown -- it would have far more sense for one to say "Did you see that call?" and the other to say in disgust "I know!!" There's ALWAYS a bad call, even if there are no touchdowns. As it is, it just grated. Someone on the staff should have caught the problem.

Obviouisly, there's no way I can experience this, but I don't think many people know or care who a person's parents are before reacting to their race. And I think that both types (as well as other light-skinned people, such as Latin@s or those from India or the Middle East) have advantages over darker people, regardless of their parentage. If indeed the clues about "hitting rock bottom" are from T-Pain daring to use auto-tune (the HORROR!!!) thgen he has nothing to regret, and in a genre filled with drug-dealers, wife-beaters and other scum who still make hit records [Side note -- R Kelly was FINALLY arrested for sexuial abuse -- hopefully this time the jurors won't be morons], using autotune isn't something "brought on by himself".

The Grammy's have an "Album of the Year" category (which is different somehow from "Record of the Year"), so I would say not.
