Spent my snow day today trying to catch up.....loved the family dinner with Jack, Jen, Abby & JJ. They all seem so comfortable and natural together. Jack and Jen's hey day was my fave days of the show and I was so happy to still see the spark they have. Some things never change! I know we got renewed but did they get a bigger budget or new makeup/hair/stylists because it seems that everyone looks fantastic lately! The hair and makeup are perfection as is the wardrobes ( although they are still dressing Gabi is non-season appropriate clothes....its January, not June people). Hope has never looked better....same with Julie...and everyone really. I covet all their clothes! And the dialog seems better too...more natural.

So I haven't watched in nearly a year...the last episode I saw was Nathan's funeral. I had a snow day today and tuned in and what do I see but Carly telling Ava she's a POS and will never get Avery, again, for the 5 millionth time. Same shit, different year.

Me too. Some of my greatest childhood memories are trying to stay awake till 10 pm to watch her show with my mom She looks FABULOUS!!!

Yup..last week I saw pics of Tre and the girls on vacay in Jamaica and I had same reaction. Gabriella is leigit model gorgeous.

Enjoyed today's ep. Chloe dress was gorgeous, as was Jen's. GV hot as always and Brady is still a dick! I think that was the same cloak Viv wore last year. I was actually wondering before the reveal is it Eve or Viv or Nic....which I enjoyed. Was happy to see the Christmas tree and decorations still up at Doug's Place. I hope the Horton Center doesnt depend on this benefit for the majority of their budget seeing as how there were like 6 people there! Seriously it was embarassing....no Hope or Rafe or any of the young set, no Kayla or Abby or Chad or Maggie or Abe or Marlena and John? WTF is up with that? Can they please stop acting like Nicole is the backbone of the Center....seriously, she was court ordered to work there and was only there a few months so stop pretending she was this selfless charitable person. Dreading this whole custody story and was glad to hear Justin give it to Eric straight. Sarah needs to take a seat...you've been here like 5 minutes and really has no business even having an opinion on it. Liking the nurse and JJ.

So my time off has gotten me finally caught up.....I am way late to the party but the Halloween episode was great. Loved seeing the actors play out of character and campy, especially Hope. I thought Julie and Doug were exceptionally good, as was Hattie. Even when I wasnt watching any more, I always tuned in for the Christmas episodes with the Horton tree trimming, and it was always something I looked forward to. It saddened me this year how short it was and how few people were there. And speaking of Christmas, yesterdays episode was confusing with the timeline. ALL of the Christmas decorations were gone! All 3 sets for DiMeras, Kirikias and Brady were stripped of everything! Even the stupid tree at DiMera that only had one freakin ornament on it. But it was supposed to be the day after Christmas because Chad said Gabi confessed and he let her have Christmas with Ari before calling police. Also, Gabi was still in her Christmas dress. So how/when did the decoartion all come down, when Stefan said staff was all off for holidays? But then Eric and Sarah were talking like it was New Years Eve day. I know I am nit-picking, but I couldnt get past the time line inconsistency, and was hoping we would get to see other characters enjoying the holiday, instead we got one episode and that was it. Disappointing. Oh, and one more thing.....that silver coffee pot Stefan poured coffee from was soooooo tarnished! lol. Someone slacking on polishing the silver! Gabi been killing it, and I think also Stefan. Must admit I have always loved TC and I think his reactions the past few days have been great. I, like Julie, felt sorry for him. Julie has also been killing it, and she has looked fantastic....hair, makeup, clothes have never looked better. I agree with everyone take here on KM....she makes Abby so damn unlikable....like I have no sympathy for her at all. MM hair drove me nuts, but she had a vulnerability to her that made Abby softer, whereas KM plays Abs as insufferable. I wanted Jen to smack the shit out of her on Christmas Eve! Not to mention, without the wig I wouldnt know the differnce between Abby and Gabby! I liked MM when she played Gabby and I wish they wouldve let the Gabby alter stay and be with Stefan and ditched Abby for awhile...like years. That would have set up a lot of storylines for years to come. At this point, I cant wait for KM and Abby to be gone, even if I am sad that Chad is going with her. Now I am just looking forward to Jack! And dreading Nicole.....that character and the nonstop tears bugs the crap outta me. I want Eric to finally be free of her and cant believe they arent leaving her dead, and so soon. (Very unpopular opinion, I know, I know!) I have 2 questions.....why did Gabi clap her hands once at top of stairs after Julie fell? it was one loud deliberate clap and I cant figure out why? Is Rex coming back or was his appearance just a short stint?

I am lmao! I am born and raised on Lake Ontario and lived here my whole life go in and on the Lake all summer, and it has never, ever ever been "bluer than blue". Brown, yes, but blue? um no!

Not if you went to Catholic school, which I am sure they all are. I can't wait until the season on show changes from summer to school year and can't wait to see them all in school. That was my life from K thru 12th grade and I am looking forward to seeing that portrayed. I just freaking LOVE this show so much!

Me too....I really loved it and put it on dvr season pass. I lol and think Jennifer Garner is great in it. Such a departure from how we have seen her...also loving Juliette Lewis and all of the guys too.

MICKEY!!!!!!!!!!!! The show can end now that I now Ian & Mickey are together.....even if it's in prison idc they are together. I am soooooo happy I wasn't spoiled and got to see that scene live!

U and me both....that's what i was hoping when they teased him going on run last ep. I miss Mickey so much....the character and the actor. I don't think they will kill Ian off. I think it will be like someone posted above....cell door clanks closed ad thats it, but I do think the others will still refer to him, he just won't be seen.

I loved her drunk assistant this week. I lol and rewound her twice. That actress was great and so so funny.

I laughed, a lot, and I say PREACH IT MURPH!!!! I don't care but I need her and this show right now and what they are "preaching" needs to be said. I am just so happy to see these 30 year friends of mine again and need their company right now, especially the last few weeks.

Phil is such a dick. The way he was talking to those parents after they came back out and God forbid criticized Saint Phil....which I did not think they did...he said their expectations for the show were different. And he said it calmly and adultly which is way more than most guests do! And he gives her a freaking life coach? Seriously?? She needs a hell of a lot more than that....espcially after the way she said no to rehab when it was never even brought up! I cannot believe people actually go to this quack for serious help. Does he ever do follow up shows on prior guests? I have never seen one and always wondered if he does them. Then again if isnt actually helping anyone there is no follow up to do I guess.

ITA about Judi. I have said that for years....way back to Beth on GL and of course Paulina on my belived AW. She "snot cries" lol so you know its real!

Hot damn GV killllllled it today!!! Omg he was awesome!!!!! He seriously elevates the acting of whoever he is in a scene with. He was phenomenal today and actually made Brady (actors name escapes me atm) look good acting-wise. Adrienne's haircut is AWFUL. Beyond bad. Now a short 'do that rocks is MBE. Her cut/style/color is perfection. I think her overall style, clothes, jewelry is just perfect. Best dressed on all soaps imo. Speaking of hair, MR's finally looks healthy. The darker color looks so much better and natural and not like straw anymore.

This was my first thought too. That she didn't anticipate the success the show would have or it's immediate renewal and that she didn't really want to do season 11 and this was her way out. Then again I am a cynical bitch at times! lol
