I get the feeling I'm supposed to feel sorry for Kim Long but I feel zero sympathy for her. She came off as cold and very rehearsed. She didn't seem to care that a man died. There didn't seem to be much evidence pointing towards anyone. I'm undecided on her guilt but I don't think I could have convicted her.

There used to be a show called curb appeal? Or something like that. It may not have been on HGTV but I really enjoyed it. They would concentrate on the yard and outside of the house. Does anyone remember this or did I imagine it?

False confessions are more common than one thinks. The chances of one happening is even higher when dealing with someone young or affected by mental illness. Knox is likely both. Police use leading questions, manipulate, or outright lie to get the answers they want.

My comment was meant in general. It's not related to Jo specifically or that specific situation. It just is bothering me that many have said well she's giggling so she's fine and can't be assaulted! That is absolutely not true in the real world. It almost is in the territory of victim blaming. For me, it's just about society and perception of rape and sexual assault.

This keeps coming up and it's really bothering me. Someone can be giggling and still be raped. They may not be aware of what's going on or can't move to say no. Or they never said yes. I realize that Deluca wasn't attacking Jo but I have to get that off my chest.

They really annoyed me with all the whining about the dad working. Look, sometimes work does have to come first. He has to make a living and support most of his adult kids. Abby was also irritating. Not everyone needs to be on your schedule. She's so dismissive of everyone.

I think the new DA saw an easy conviction and was only willing to pursue Nick despite the flimsy evidence. Remember, he was the only black family in that town in a county that was 98% white. He requested a jury trial after 10 jurors were slected and they were all white. I think they wanted to hold someone, anyone responsible for the murder and Nick was a convenient suspect. The mom is the only one who said there was friction. The child psychologist Garrett was seeing said the child never complained about Nick. I think he is likely controlling but I'm 90% sure he is innocent.

I just watched Nick Hillary case and there is zero way I could convict. There is virtually zero evidence he had anything to do with it. The ankle injury doesn't mean much since his prints didn't match and no other forensic evidence to tie him to it. No one saw him at the apartment either. I'm not even convinced he was following Garrett when he left the school. This case screams reasonable doubt to me. His mom is the only one who said her child had issues with Nick. The child psychologist said the boy never complained about him. If the boys were the roadblock, wouldn't he have killed them both? The smartest thing he did was waive his right to a jury trial. There was no way that town would acquit him. The police had tunnel vision and saw someone easy to convict because he was black. The prosecutor saw the same thing, imo.

Agreed. I had to leave my middle daughter at the hospital in the NICU and it was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to. I couldn't even walk out of the hospital, I was so upset. I really identified with April. I couldn't hold my baby for the first two days and I was upset. Of course, I was thankful she was alive and doing well. In all likelihood, the baby would be allowed to room in with April. My youngest child roomed in with me after her birth. I was fine to go home but she wasn't so we both stayed at the hospital. Bailey can take several seats. All the drs have almost killed or killed their patients at this point. She injected HIV against the parents wishes!
