That's exactly how I pictured it. ITA

This one's my favorite. How do you say "No" to that face? (I mean, I know she said "No" to that face, I just don't know how she managed to do so.)

.... you see an announcement for a seminar near your work titled "HOSS", and shudder... .... then you see that "HOSS" is subtitled, "A Multi-Physics Tool for Failure Analysis", and giggle.

SPN Eye Candy: Drooling Over The Actors And Characters

It's really unfair that his shoulders have always looked like that. -
Not a perfect life, and not difficult to forget guys. I definitely put it out of my mind.

I got started on the episode late, but that's okay, because I FF'd through most of it anyway. Truth. This and the Dyla scenes were the only moments I actually enjoyed. Oh, plus Dig's confession to (most of) the team, solely for Curtis' "Hello, I gave a paralyzed woman the ability to walk" reaction. (Seriously, that's the most I've like Curtis in a solid year.) I will say, this synopsis -- sums up an aspect of the whole show I hadn't spent much time thinking about: why are they so obsessed with the idea of Oliver trying to get out of this life, only to be sucked back in? Once or twice is fine, but wow, that's pretty much every season. Even the Winchesters gave up on trying to live a "civilian" life after a while.

Okay, that's more like it. That's the show I remember (good and bad). Apparently any iteration of OTA is enough for me to enjoy the show. Me, watching the episode: - Felicity/Diggle -- Aw! - Diggle/Oliver -- Aaww! - Oliver/Felicity -- Aawww Yeah!!! I also really enjoyed Felicity/William. Felicity Smoak: making the Queen men more adorable since 2012. However, I'm not hugely into the business start-up stuff atm, though the bad titles are amusing. (Plus, it gave her space alone for most of the times Oliver wanted to stop by and "talk about William", so I can't fault it too much right now.) Quentin's comment about his ex-wife Dinah curing the schoolwork was amusing. Did not like Rene going from 0 to punk in less than 60 seconds. And I was just starting to like you, man. I'm also really over characters going from background to IN YOUR FACE in the most awful way possible. (See: DINAH) And, as much as I like Diggle and DR is doing a great job, I must confess I'm not feeling this story "Diggle as GA instead of Oliver for reasons / Diggle in pain and keeping secrets from his family/OTA" arc much at all. But as I said, this is how they get away with things, because I've got my own mathematical formula for the show: OTA + OTP = HAPPY ME.

Ah, good. I may have to go back to that part. I admit to being slightly distracted while watching, and possibly missed hearing his name amidst the backpack punching.

My personal annoyance with "Buddy" is not the nickname itself or in general - it's Oliver- specific, in that I seem to be missing the moments when Oliver calls his son by his name to his face. Has he done that this season? Last season he called him My.Son. to just about anyone who would listen. Now that the kid is around fulltime, he's started referring to him as William to other people more, but not when he speaks directly to William. Just seems weird to me, like he sort of replaced "Myson" with "Buddy", so my brain just switched it back for fun. He doesn't call Thea "Speedy" all the time - he does address her by her name occasionally. If he just spoke to William by his name sometimes (or more often, if I'm missing it), maybe it wouldn't stand out to my ears as much.
-
So I've decided to replace every time Oliver calls William "Buddy" (which grates on my nerves so bad) with "Myson" (pronounced like bison) -- because it amuses me and makes the scenes more tolerable (because let's face it, Myson is a better nickname than Buddy, and Oliver was very comfortable calling him Myson all the time before so I don't know why he changed it anyway). (Of all the complaints I have on the episode, it's one I can actually do something about, so I'm going with it.)

His LOL line for me was just after that: "This completely ruins sriracha for me."

That's a great trailer. I forget between seasons just how invested in this show I am (even with no Bailey Chase), but this trailer just brings it all right back.

Oh good -- it took me an hour to talk myself down from being upset at William's grandparents for leaving him with Oliver. This just seems like a bad idea all around. Although maybe I'm just still perturbed that Thea got blown to a coma offscreen while Samantha got to squeeze in one more "parental requirement that does not actually benefit my child" before dying. At least the writing seems to be playing to the kid actor's strengths. As to Slade's variation on "you're gonna have to choose between being the (Green) Arrow and being Oliver Queen a father":

SPN Eye Candy: Drooling Over The Actors And Characters

As much as I adore kittens, I would have LOVED it if Jensen dancing with the skeleton had somehow made the cover. -
I must really like Arthur Darvill, because even though Rip's turned into a big meanie I still think he's workin' that haircut. And now I need a Legends tshirt with that new motto: "We screw things up for the better." Heh.

I've been pretty "Bah! Humbug" about all of the crossover spoilers (haven't heard any potential details I'm particularly excited to see, save Myson not being around), but apparently the squeeing fangirl inside me is not completely dead, because EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will probably love it however it happens.

Which reminds me: where are the all models that Kevin had worked on with his dad during this fire? IIRC Kevin said something in S1about how he got rid of them after his dad died; but would they have stored somewhere outside of the house? Because otherwise the fire seems to have gotten rid of them for him.

I watched TIU first because I knew I'd need to laugh afterward - and laugh I did. I've missed these boys so much, including Captain Avery. (Poor Captain Avery, just trying to keep his job and his department out of trouble.) And of course Riggs would pick up on the border patrol guy being innocent because he couldn't give Riggs details on how it "felt" to kill Tito Flores. I thought the scene at Miranda's grave was very sweet. However, I'm back to side-eyeing Dr. Cahill again. Keep it professional, please. (Let me have my never-ending hope if seeing Lorna Cole someday.)

I miss this. So very much.

I don't know -- certain cats might actually give a rat's ass. ;-)

It wasn't shown clearly at all, but I'm pretty sure JJ also had to jump/fly up the elevator shaft to catch the elevator cable when it broke - she was a good distance from the elevator when Luke and Danny realized she was holding the cable. But yeah, we definitely needed a better show of her abilities. Although her superhero snark was absolutely on point.
