  1. The subtitle is taken from a quote by Fitz in the season 1 episode "FZZT", when they are trying to figure out how to keep Jemma from dying of the alien virus. I disagree that FitzSimmons relationship is kaput or that Simmons would be OOC in being able to look past Fitz killing Agnes in the Framework. One thing that Simmons has been very consistent on is her insistence that the Framework =/= the Real World (ex. her continued reference to 1s and 0s, etc.). In fact, that's the very reason why she continues to dislike Framework!Ward -- his goodness doesn't matter because he isn't real to her -- only Real World!Ward is real to her, and he was not good. She remains resolute that Real World!Fitz =/= Framework!Fitz; it's the shred of sanity that she's holding onto as proof that the Framework is not real. Since Real World >>>> Framework every time for Simmons, she is actually less likely to blame RealWorld!Fitz for Framework!Fitz's actions than the other way around. I think once she finds out that Fitz has a continued relationship with his father in the Framework she'll waste no time in blaming Framework Fitz's actions and attitude on that relationship, rather than on Fitz himself. On the other hand, I think Fitz is going to have some serious trouble reconciling his actions in the Framework with who he is in the Real World. It won't be as easy for him to distinguish the two as it has been / will be for Simmons.
  2. I'm right there with you on Olicity and FitzSimmons! WestAllen are alright, but I'm not committed to them like I am the other two. I really liked Iris with Eddie, so WestAllen's just not make-or-break for me (sorry Barry).
  3. That's right -- so no danger to May anyway. You know, I should remember that -- I think it's been explained to me before. The memory of Tripp dying just sort of blurs all the details.
  4. I realized the final scene doesn't completely make sense with May just standing there in the middle of a burst terrigen crystal while Daisy transforms (original terrigen crystals were lethal to humans, which is how we lost Tripp in the first place), but I don't care because the scene was cool and both women knew it. Also, from two months ago -- I'm a girl of my word. *Resumes Happy Dance*
  5. TTTRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But dang, we lost Mace. Then that last scene -- this is officially the Best. Episode. Ever!!!
  6. It's weird that those basic moments were included early on, when the show was formulated on the Vampire Diaries structure, but when they really decided to go all-out comic, they dropped those elements as if those were the things that were detrimental to the show. Where did this rote reference to "Bed Bath and Beyond" and "not an interesting episode" come in? I just find it so strange that idea of an occasional scene or two of these people actually having lives or truly dual identities is somehow tantamount to treason from fans. People are not asking for a bottle episode with characters doing nothing but crossing of lists in a BB&B. They're just asking for a little semblance of normalcy to make the heroics seem more... heroic.
  7. Can't wait to see the mortified looks on his children's faces when he's still doing those same moves 10 years from now. :-)
  8. I snooze through scenes with Sara's husband, so I didn't really hear/process his game theory speech, but seeing it in the recap -- yeah, he's totally the gamer. Kellerman had me cynically laughing at his attempt to convince Sara that "all the evidence" points to Michael being a killer. These people should not believe any "evidence" of anything anywhere after what they've been through. Also, from the recap: ^^^ THIS x 10000.
  9. There was no "here". Radcliffe thought that Ward was Hive at first (because that's the only version of Ward he's ever met), then he realized he wasn't Hive, but "the one who came before" -- i.e. Grant Ward, the person he was before he died and Hive took over his body. Radcliffe mentioned never having met him because last season Ward was already dead by the time the team went looking for Radcliffe.
  10. Fitz is going to be so emotionally screwed up when he finally gets out of the framework. I did -- promptly did a double-take and then immediately rewound and paused to confirm. Heh. If there was ever a group that needed Michael Scofield...
  11. I'm not gonna be good with multiple episodes of people wondering if Michael has flipped to the dark side or not.
  12. After the end of the 2nd season, I decided to go back and watch all the scenes of Snart from Season 1 (since it looks likes that's all I'm going to get of him). And I fell in love with him all over again. I just love his progression over the course of the season, and I love the way WM played him in scenery-chewing glory, with surprising subtle layers underneath. And so very cool throughout. This is a dude who froze his own hand and then shattered it to get out of handcuffs with he was kidnapped. Oh, how I wish WM would give us more of this guy. He's fantastic.
  13. Speaking of over the top, the idea that everything that happened to them in the original run of the series happened in a 9 month span is so very over the top it's hilarious. I mean, that's exactly what the show is, and I love it for it, but wow. :-)
  14. The Rip that left at the end wasn't the one who had been trapped on the ship with only Gideon for a year. This Rip didn't have that experience, because the Legends kept the Spear of Destiny from being used by the Legion. This is the Rip that only recently got his head back on straight -- which actually makes it odder that he'd leave Gideon since it's also been only a couple of episodes since he made out with her in his mind. But I'm assuming she's still connected to the jump ship he planned to steal take, right?
  15. I didn't say it before, but Dominic Purcell did a great job here. The interest and intesity of the episode really rode on him, and he definitely delivered. Looking forward to this crazy ride -- hurry up next week!
  16. Yeah, that song is really good for LoT obviously, but it's also very specifically tied in my mind to intro recap on Supernatural episode "Everybody Loves a Clown" (which means I've probably watched that episode too much). Apparently it's a great song to dramatically show someone's death from the previous episode. I know it's likely WM's choice, but I still wish I could have Snart (anti-hero version, not full-villain version) back fulltime. Especially if I'm losing Rip. (And especially if I'm still stuck with moon-y Nate. SNS) Gonna have to go back and watch his scenes from S1 again. Followed by Rip's scenes from S2.
  17. I'm right there with you. Funny, I spent the afternoon trying to prep myself for the potential loss of Mick (followed immediately by PB), but I'm just as disappointed that it's Rip I'm losing instead. I had a feeling that I wouldn't get out of this season with all my favorites intact.
  18. Okay, so I "sort-of" made it through the series before tonight. I watched Season 1 straight through -- it was fantastic! Season 2 was really good as well, although I admit that I started skipping scenes with people I don't care about or actively dislike (which kept my enjoyment level up). But I was bummed by the Sona premise and Sarah's supposed death at the beginning of Season 3, and almost stopped there. (Also, I had to take a break to quickly binge Dollhouse since I'd heard it was in danger of being cut from Netflix due to some Fox brouhaha.) I ended up skipping whole episodes between the beginning and the middle, and again between the middle and the end. But yay! Michael was out of Sona and Sarah was alive for Season 4. It definitely didn't have the feel of the earlier seasons though, and I skipped through most of the insanity just so I could figure out the main details and watch my faves. The ending was not cool at all. (Why couldn't you just let Michael and Sarah be happy?! Or at least let him live long enough to see his son?!!) Then I watched the first two minutes of that post-series 'movie', went and found a synopsis, and got upset all over again. UGH UGH UGH. *cleansing breaths* I'm excited about the show starting up again tonight. I don't care how ridiculous it gets, I just want to see the characters I like again. Michael, Sarah, Lincoln, Sucre, Mahone. (Yes, I know Mahone is supposedly not going to turn up. :-( :-( :-( ) I've resigned myself to the fact that they are all in different places now and may not be the friends/frenemies I came to love, but I don't care. Gimme DP/WM on my screen. With Legends of Tomorrow's finale also airing tonight, I'm gonna need it.
  19. Oh my gosh thanks for that. Made my day! I am so Team Gypsy right now. What the heck guys?! Abra Kadabra was not going to tell them anything. Why are they mad at Gyspy for doing her job? How is she suddenly the enemy because she doesn't bow to the oh-so-obvious threats and bribes of the VOTW? I'm just dumbfounded by Cisco's, "I don't know if we can make it work now that Gypsy's gone ahead and brought a criminal to justice after he totally made it clear that he was not about to cooperate with Barry's desperate plea to reveal Savitar's identity." I never thought I'd see the day where I was watching this show for Caitlin and Julian, but here we are. Also, I in no way believe HR was on a sex-romp for his missing two days. I'm sure that will be revealed later.
  20. Ah, I see. I was in denial before, but I can't pretend any longer. Arrow is going to be my next Smallville, isn't it -- where I have to check completely out of the show to save my sanity and can't come back until I know for absolutely sure that it's the end? (Okay, I admit that's a little melodramatic. But seriously, my dvr queue is full of shows I that employ characters I actually want to see. I don't have time for this crap -- digitally or emotionally.)
  21. I read somewhere that the show was disappearing from Netflix this week, so I did a selective rewatch over the weekend. It's still so very good. When I first watched this show I was sticking out Season 1 mostly for Sierra x Victor (and I did really like through Season 2 as well), but from the first "Epitaph" episode on I was pretty much hooked on Topher, and his dynamic with Adelle. I fell so hard for his character development, and Fran Kranz always made a fantastic portrayal. Though to be fair, so did Enver Gjokaj. That first episode with Victor!Topher was one of my favorites. ITA x 1000. They were so hilariously awkwardly perfect. It squeezes my heart just thinking about it. Favorite episodes: "Man on the Street", "Epitaph", "The Left Hand", "Getting Closer", "Epitaph Two: The Return"
  22. Spa Day with the Bratva...
  23. DING DING DING!!! I don't always agree with jbuffyangel, but that explanation is what I needed to reconcile that "revelation" with the rest of the series. The episode was extremely well done, but I couldn't quite get into the OMG-factor because that confession didn't ring true. Now it does. HAH!!!
