  1. When I was in college I was called to serve on the Grand Jury. I called them and said, I'm a college student. Luckily I was dismissed because I don't think any of my professors would have been OK with me missing a month of classes.
  2. I think that contributed to the divorce. He found all these women who fell for his act. It wouldn't shock me if he is on Dancing With the Stars next.
  3. Good for Joy for seeking treatment and being willing to take medication. Also, I'm guessing Austin is being supportive since she vloged about it. If he is, I'll say good for him too. I always wonder how many of these fundie women end up with PPD, especially after all the back-to-back pregnancies that have. How many of them are told by preachers to pray it away and getting pregnant again will help the "baby blues" go away?
  4. I think when Theresa was talking about money during the FS date, Gerry immediately went "cha-ching." He was looking for a purse not realizing the purse is not willing to give her up job for him to spend all her money. I wonder if when they were looking to get pre-approved when looking at a house in Charleston, she found out he exaggerated how much money he had; the same way he was called a restauranteer rather than he used to own a burger joint.
  5. This was easily my favorite episode this season. We learned so much. We learned it was Ralph that was sucked up and Stephanie was left behind. We learned that ghosts cannot Facetime. We learned there is a Puritan ghost wandering around in the dirt because Isaac covered his mouth when he sneezed. Finally, we learned how Hetty died. Before this episode, I always figured she died from a drug overdose, cocaine, or morphine. But I never thought she used a telephone cord. It did come in handy to help save Flower, but that was rough to see. Especially when she said she did it to help her son, and her son ended up murdering Alberta. This is the episode they need to submit to the Emmys for writing. It was funny, it was sad. Rebecca Wisocky was wonderful. It helped to understand why Hetty seemed so uptight (besides the time period she lived in). And yes, I am happy to see Flower again. Our Ghosts are back together.
  6. I watched the 2nd part of the reunion and the only two that I, while I may not like them, I didn't dislike them, are Michael and Chloe. They are the only two who stayed out of the mess, which I understand since they weren't married on the first day and didn't spend time together with the other couples from the honeymoon forward. As far as the others, all I can think of are toxic friendships I was involved in in the past. The best thing would be to end the friendships - not that I think they would been friends if it wasn't for the show. Finally, Emily needs serious therapy. Watching her made me feel very uncomfortable. I knew Brennan checked out early, but watching Emily last night made me realize why he did and I understand why he did.
  7. A few years ago I was looking for shoelaces. I had been up and down all the aisles in the shoe department but could not find them. There was a manager standing there talking to two employees and I apologized and said, I know I'm just walking past them, but where are the shoelaces? One of the employees just pointed and said, over there. The manager looked at him, turned to me, and said, let me show you where they are. They were on the end of an aisle, and yes, I was missing them. I thanked the manager and always wondered if he said anything to the employee who told me they were "over there."
  8. I watched "Saving Grace" and loved it. When Laura San Giacomo joined I did the "Grace/Grace" connection also.
  9. I wish Jonathan would grow a set and stand up to Jill. Tell her he is taking his wife and his son to get some sleep. Even if it is a weekend, Gideon needs a regular schedule. I also wish he would tell Kaylee to stop with the Plexus, that the three of them need regular, nutritious meals, not Plexus. Well, Gideon needs Plexus free meals.
  10. That's the impression I have since they are saying Doug's funeral will air in December.
  11. I occasionally think I need to get back on some site, but I'm not sure which one.
  12. I've liked the first season, but this season has been more of a disappointment. If they want to deal with Nell's work/home life and not her talking to the dead, then they need to have something happen so that she doesn't see the dead any longer. There might be an episode where she misses talking to the dead but then goes on with life like it was before.
  13. Maybe they should have dated for a little while rather than getting married five months after meeting for a paid for wedding and honeymoon from ABC. The only thing that surprised me was that it happened this fast. I didn't think it would last a year, but this is faster than I was expecting.
  14. I watched the first season. Since this was new and no one knew what kind of show it was going to be, I believe the people were there to try to find love. Now, I believe the producers look for wanna-be influencers who just want airtime and a chance to increase their followers and if it means drama, then that makes for a better show (to the producers, not the viewers).
  15. I would like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not. The way it ended seemed like a good place to end IMO. Ben and Addison can continue to leap around together. I wish the show had never made Addison and Ben a couple because I feel like caused problems. Sam didn't even remember he was married to Donna until he and Al cross-leaped. And I believe once again he forgot he was married after he leaped again (I could be mistaken though, it's been a while since I watched OG QL). I admit I wasn't a huge fan of Addison; I preferred it when Magic, Jenn, Ian, or anyone else would be the hologram.
  16. Can someone DM me as well? I don't want to lose this group of people. Thanks.
  17. I'm grateful for the laughs and loving support that we share.
  18. I feel about this forum like I do about my job. You don't have to tell me I'm doing a wonderful job, but if I'm doing something wrong, tell me what it is so I can fix it. Otherwise, I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing. I may not post often, but I do read this forum regularly and I will miss everyone.
  19. I think she was at the bachelorette party. Maybe she met the other brides and decided she couldn't go through with the "married at first sight" if they were the other brides. I would love to hear her side of the story.
  20. IIRC she was best friends with the daughter of the man. The daughter was "It's all good. My best friend is married to my father." WTH????
  21. I'm single, child-free, and an only child, so these interest me since I have no other family. Right now my mom is still living and every morning we either text or email each other, just "Hey, I'm still alive." But if she weren't around, no one would know if anything happened to me. I work from home, going in about once a month, but I don't know how long it would take for my employer to notice I wasn't checking in. My neighbors wouldn't miss the fact that my car hasn't moved in so many days because there are weeks my car doesn't move. I guess my neighbors might start smelling something after a while - lol.
  22. I've had vertigo off and on for a few years and have figured out that when I get really stressed, it gets bad (it started when my dad was dying). In 2020 I went to the doctor and he recommended one visit with a physical therapist to show me some exercises for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. But about a week later the world shut down, so I googled some exercises. There are some on YouTube and it helps.
  23. Me too! I'm more of a reader and observer than an active poster, but it's nice to have a place to post if I need/want to.
  24. When Sunny mentioned an embryo doesn't become a puppy, my first thought was some embryos do become puppies, if it's a dog that is pregnant. Sunny kept trying for a "gotcha" answer from Dr. Jen when Dr. Jen was telling her what was going on medically. When Sunny was undergoing IVF did they only use embryos that were healthy or did they place all of them? Since she had two single births, I'm guessing they only used the healthy embryos that had a better chance at becoming a viable pregnancy. What did they do with the embryos that weren't healthy? Maybe she has said what they did with all the embryos and I didn't hear what she said.
  25. When Primetimer shut down for the week, I wondered if it would even come back up. I enjoy this site. When my work computer is slow, I spend a few minutes checking in on a couple of boards. If it disappears, I will miss it. But it would help to have some sort of clear explanation as to what's going on.
